Affect the intention of output layer

I would like to know if the following is in the realm of the possible:

1. Photoshop file layers RGB

2 edit: assign intent output layer

3. choose output profile, rendering, etc.

4. a layer is created on the highest level, and the display color changes to match with the output mode. (Similar to the proof Setup and view proof)

5. Once this is done, the normal profile to assign is gray. The RGB profile in layers is locked, as long as the output mode exists.

If the file is passed on to another user, it must be very clear that the file has a layer of intent to exit. I suggest the use of icons and the profile name of output in the document window mode.

There is a layer of intent of output allowed by file. And it's always the top layer of most.

Another user has always has the option to hide or throw the output intent layer if he wishes.

To the extent where the output intent itself - layer content cannot be changed directly, because no actual conversion has executed. Think of it like a OC in a parent document, without the open option in a child document separated. Perhaps a user could add nested in the output mode adjustment layers, but the ability to edit must go no further than this, in order to preserve the integrity of the color.

It would be a valuable tool. It would preserve space color source both of the destination color space. If one were to place the file in InDesign, InDesign must recognize the output of the file mode layer and convert color based on the mode of release of Photoshop layer settings.

This theme fits into the development of Photoshop Smart.

The ICC color adjustment actually resides above the layer in the layers palette. It can be replaced by a new setting of the ICC, but you can not made adjustments.  This function converts the file to desired output.  RGB or CMYK

The problem with the current development of Photoshop is blind additions adjustments without logical order.

So that this ideology to work correctly control you the workspace as a known fixed space.  The ICC adjustment layer replaces the evidence introduced in the workflow of smart technology.

  • How to replace a layer that has a mask applied without affecting the mask?

    I have a layer with a photo.  I animated a mask to this layer, but now the client wants the picture replaced by another.  When I add a new photo in a new layer and copy the properties of the good work the mask layer mask lands in a different location than the original.  I tried to make a replacement of the images with the source photo try to make the new photo but the same results, the mask always gets repositioned.

  • 'For' loop with a different number of iterations. Second, the auto-indexation of the tables with different sizes is done. It can affect the performance of the Vi?

    Hello

    I have a loop 'for' which can take different number of iterations according to the number of measures that the user wants to do.

    Inside this loop, I'm auto-indexation four different 1 d arrays. This means that the size of the tables will be different in the different phases of the execution of the program (the size will equal the number of measures).

    My question is: the auto-indexation of the tables with different sizes will affect the performance of the program? I think it slows down my Vi...

    Thank you very much.

    My first thought is that the compiler to the LabVIEW actually removes the Matlab node because the outputs are not used.  Once you son upward, LabVIEW must then call Matlab and wait for it to run.  I know from experience, the call of Matlab to run the script is SLOW.  I also recommend to do the math in native LabVIEW.

  • Layer of scale automatically according to the proximity of another layer

    Hello!

    I am trying to write an expression that will scale a layer down as another layer gets closer (simulating a UI jumping off the page as a the mouse cursor is on it). That's what I have so far (a term applied to the scale property of the target layer):

    x = Math.abs ((effect ('Mouse Layer') (1)).transform.position [0] - transform.position [0]);           distance from the target layer and the mouse on the x-axis

    y = Math.abs ((effect ('Mouse Layer') (1)).transform.position [1] - transform.position [1]);           distance between the target layer and right-click the axis y

    t = Math.sqrt ((Math.pow (x, 2)) + (Math.pow(y,2)));                                                                   the actual distance of mouse layer in the center of the target layer

    fadeDist = effect ("Fade Dist") (1);                                                                                             distance to which layer begins the scaling

    sMin = ("sMin") effect (1);                                                                                                           minimum scale

    sMax = ("sMax") effect (1);                                                                                                        full scale

    s ease = (t, 0, fadeDist, sMax, sMin);

    [s,];

    It works fairly well, but it is based on the distance between the Center of the target layer and the mouse, not the limits/edges of it. For this reason, scale the target layer becomes as the mouse moves around the area of the layer itself.

    Is it possible for me to write this expression which 1) allow me to refer to the distance between the mouse and the edges of the target layer (a rectangle) the factor affecting the scale of the layer and 2) maintains the balance of the rectangle while the mouse moves that it contains?

    Thank you!!

    This is probably not exactly what you are looking for, but it may give you some ideas. It seems to work for a rectangular solid. It evolves as the mouse layer approaches, but remains at the top of the scale, once the mouse is inside the solid:

    sMax = 150; Max scale

    sMin = 50;  scale min

    dMax = 100; When the scale starts to distance

    dMin = 0; When the scaling of the remote ends

    M = thisComp.layer ("Layer mouse");

    PM = M.toComp (M.anchorPoint);

    x = h [0];

    y = h [1];

    p = toComp (anchorPoint);

    xMin = p [0] - width * sMax/200;

    xMax = p [0] + width * sMax/200;

    yMin = p [1] - height * sMax/200;

    yMax = p [1] + height * sMax/200;

    If (x<>

    If (y<>

    d = length (pm, [xMin, yMin]);

    } ElseIf (y<>

    d = xMin - MP [0];

    } else {}

    d = length (pm, [xMin, yMax]);

    }

    } ElseIf (x<>

    If (y<>

    d = yMin - MP [1];

    } ElseIf (y<>

    d = dMin;

    } else {}

    d = h [1] - yMax;

    }

    } else {}

    If (y<>

    d = length (pm, [xMax, yMin]);

    } ElseIf (y<>

    d = h [0] - xMax;

    } else {}

    d = length (pm, [xMax, yMax]);

    }

    }

    s = linear (d, dMin, dMax, sMax, sMin);

  • You can lock the size of a layer?

    When you create files for production, or templates for use in another artistic creation, it crossed my mind that having the ability to lock the size of a layer would be really useful.

    Ex: I often clip a raster layer textured to a vector shape layer. Built in this way, the form may change its size without affecting the texture with. However, it would be great to be able to limit or block the scaling of the layer, to avoid errors in the future.

    I am specifically inquire lock scale only, I still want the layer to mobile.

    Hi ehart1,

    No, there is no specific way to block the scaling of a layer and leave everything editable. It looks like a good application: click here to request, telling them what you do makes your useful idea.

    Community customer Photoshop family

    What you can do, that might not help with other users of your models, is to link the two layers. Once you do that, if you resize your vector shape, your texture changes with it. It won't be good unless your raster texture is already at the maximum, but at least he is not leaving the sitting texture is more fill the shape it is cut.

    Personally, I think that I would prefer to notice that the texture no longer corresponds to the form to have the texture scaling too far and I don't notice it.  So ask lock an object for the scaling remains only, IMO, the best idea.

  • Move the selection form, not the content, to another layer

    I understand that after the creation of any selection, CTRL-J copy the selection into a new layer, but this isn't what I want to do.

    I want to copy just the selection form (i.e. its contour), not its content, so that I can then apply this form of selection to any other existing layer.

    The goal is to take a selected layer A shape, apply the shape in layer B, remove the box around the selection into a layer B, and end up with a form in the B layer that contains the content of layer B pixels, no layer.

    I have Photoshop version 9, CS2. I tried to study masks, but were not able to find a basic explanation of beginner of masks

    Nice day!

    You can store a selection as an Alpha channel and then load it as often as you wish.

    Also you can use layer masks, those who can the duplicated on other layers (and if necessary reversed) easily.

    I want to copy just the selection form (i.e. its contour), not its content, so that I can then apply this form of selection to any other existing layer.

    It doesn't seem wise, an active selection is a property of the file and not a layer.

    The goal is to take a selected layer A shape, apply the shape in layer B, remove the box around the selection into a layer B, and end up with a form in the B layer that contains the content of layer B pixels, no layer.

    If the selection is anti-aliased or soft that risk unnecessary fringes.

    Could you please post a screenshot with the Panel visible layers to clarify your intention?

    Kind regards

  • How does Compression affects the integrity of the colors?

    http://www.pureformsolutions.com/pureform.wordpress.com/2008/01/01/pixelatedExample.jpg

    When the compression is not completely spoil the colors, it often simplifies the image and functionally Pixelation it.

    The pixelated above image has the same balance of color than the other two.

    So, how compression affects the integrity of the colors?

    Think of an image as having two distinct layers: black & white, layer on which the color information are asked by the layer of color.

    Bad compression also uses sampling poor color - aka color resolution - to record the size of the file.  It will be the average of the values of two adjacent pixels of color to create a larger pixel of color avaraged.  If it's REALLY bad--as in the video DSLR and HDV - it will average the colors of adjacent pixels of the average color pixels FOUR an even bigger.

    And what do you think would make the integrity of the color?

  • How to change the selection mask and layer image together?

    I have a newbie question.

    On Photoshop CS6

    I have a picture with a layer mask, which is related, as evidenced by the string between the image and the mask. I make a choice and try to apply a scale in free form, but I can only to scale the image or layer mask, not the two together. Don't seem much sense to me, everyone knows the answer?

    I have to set up a demo'ing youtube video my problem to make things clearer, link here: http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=-Z6E98FZzMo

    Any help would be great

    Hello

    You only select the layer and not the layer with mask.

    Try this:

    With nothing selected, select the layer in the layer panel and then free transform.

    This should affect the layer and mask.

  • How to set up the initial States of layer in pdf format

    Hello. What version of Acrobat will I need set the initial layer visibility States? At present, all the layers in the PDF files that we create at work are defined on it, but we want to control that appears at startup. Do I need pro or pro extended? I was unable to understand that comparison of the production / purchase guide.

    Furthermore, is it possible to rotate the layer visibility changes in batch? For example take 100 cards with all the market and output layers the same number, but with only the selected layers. Can I customize the code of the lot, what scripting language I should know?

    Thank you very much

    J

    There are no Pro Extended, Pro just.

    Yes, you could States of batch layer, provided their order or names were the same in each document. All scripts in Acrobat is done with JavaScript, and batch processing is now part of the toolset of measures (it still can work JavaScript snippets against files, just via a new system of dialogue based on a Wizard).

  • The structure of the table of contents get won't suffer if the structure of output file is changed?

    I used FlashHelp to generate output for a project so the output folder has a structure, now while deploying the server if I make changes in the structure of output file/folder it will affect the "table of contents" or any other characteristic.

    Also, while deploying the o/p in files on the server what needs to be done so that the new custom skin (which i using flash) appears to the help pages for my request, as I call the o/p my request htm files directly by using a script.

    I hope that the explanation I posted is understandable.

    Hi kiki_04 and welcome to the HR community.

    The output of your project files cannot be moved or renamed without breaking the links throughout your project. Any changes made to folders or files MUST be made inside your RoboHelp project. It is best to think of your output in a single file, even if it is not. In other words, your output may be moved between places in its entirety

    In regards to your new skin, it must be imported into your RoboHelp project and specified within your layout of the FlashHelp single source.

  • Newbie question relative to the composition of base layer VERY in PSE3

    Sorry, this question is interbreeding - I want to do something super basic, but I can't know, of 40 - odd micro-sous-topics which the PE3 help file lists for layers - unnecessarily, not in any order of workflow - how to do this.

    I have a photo of a person in a room. I also have a picture of a beach.

    I want to cut the man of the 1st photo, stick him on the beach and then be able to manipulate him (him reposition, resize, etc.) without affecting the substance of the beach. A

    I used the magic lasso to select the man of the 1st photo and then copied him, then he glued on the picture of the beach. Problem is doing that I can not slect / manipulate comes from him; It is now merged in the photo of the beach, so no matter what I try to do just the man, now affects the whole new man + the photo of the beach.

    It is hgot to be the only way to do it... can someone take pity on me and give me a beef?

    Well, hover over the Panel layers/pallet and click on the layer with the man (should be the top layer there). Then click on the move tool, which is the first tool in the Toolbox. Then you should be able to grasp man and move him, resize, rotate, etc..

    When you want to stop working on the picture, save it as a PSD or Tiff file to keep the layers so that you can make further changes. JPEG can't have layers so it will definitely be stuck if you use this format.

  • you only want to apply the setting to a layer

    When I apply a levels adjustment layer, all layers are affected. I want only to apply a setting to a layer not all of them. How can I do this?

    I'm using photoshop CS4

    Thank you

    S. Hamsun

    To amplify what an adjustment layer affect all layers below. To limit the effect to a layer, the adjustment layer should be cut on the layer below. This can be achieved in CS4 by clicking on the icon above the settings panel, or Alt-click on the border between the two layers in the layers panel.
