• Captivate 4: no tab advanced on objects of substitution

  I've seen references in, for example the Articles Adobe, the presence of a tab advanced for working capital as the rollover Image objects.  This would allow me to set a variable or an advance to the next page, whenever the user floats the pointer of the mouse over this field, useful when I'm simulating a JavaScript menu.

  However, the Advanced tab is not really, at least on my box.  No rollover Image, slidelet or rollover Caption.  Is it possible to trigger an Action on the reversal of an object any?  If not, how can I emulate a JS menu runs to redo the entire project in Flash?

  Rollover slidelets consist of two zones. One is the area of relaxation that you mouse above. The other is the area in front of the Viewer when they mouse over the trigger. The properties of the area presented do not have an Advanced tab. Only the properties of the area of reversal or 'trigger' make.

  

  In addition, only the slidelet offers this tab. The area of relaxation for bearing legends and flight path Images did not tab.

• Pixel size of current art

  I have an Illustrator image that I need to submit by 2400 pixels wide. I tried to 'export for the web', but do so includes the jury art format letter (and mostly empty) as part of my real image. It appears as a dotted rectangle that surrounds the actual image which is only about 1/10th/the size of the Board of Directors art. How can I determine the exact eight and the width in pixels of the image less art Board? So, how can I save the picture, and not to the art Committee, at 2400 pixels wide? Thanks in advance for your help.

  Choose: File > Document Setup... and set the unit th Pixels

  Select what you want to export.

  In the transformation Panel make sure that w and h are linked and type: 2400 px in the w box.

  Choose: Object > plans > selected Art coupon

  Export at 72 dpi (you can choose to use work plans)

  get the h VieLink descriptor, using the findViewLink method and then use the getDestination method.
  This method will give you a display image region (advanced table) object.
  Then use VO object, you can use getFetchRowCount.

  In vRA 6, we had a nice shortcut button which would we export and import all our advanced Service objects. I do not see this feature in vRA 7. Does anyone know how I could "easily" do in vRA 7 (IE not code flow or dynamic generation processes)?

• MacBook Pro 13,3 "retina Logic Board failure?

  I bought my MacBook Pro 13,3 "Retina display nine in early 2014 before going to College.  This is the most expensive item that I have ever owned I always made sure to take the greatest care in the use and handling.  About a week ago, I went to turn it on and a prohibitive symbol appeared on the screen (a white circle with a slash) and after that, it was completely cut off.  I took it to a (MicroCenter) renamed repair store and they said it was a failure of the logic board and would cost nearly $700 to fix.  Everyone knows this Council logical fault problem?

  I am extremely disappointed by Apple because I thought of them as the cream of the cream with advanced technology "State-of-the-art".  I expect this device to last until the end of my academic career to a minimum and the fact that it's broken in less than two years is absolutely unacceptable. I did some googling and I saw a trial about the logic board failures in 15 '' MacBook Apple of 2011-13 and had published a complementary repair program.  I hope they do the same with my case.

  Again, someone else has their logic board fail randomly?

  Sorry to hear that. I suggest you take a look at the forums of MacBook Pro to find cases similar to yours and check if there is a systemic problem or if you just had bad luck. Obviously it will not be a legal action if this problem is reduced to a few users, but there's a chance if this is stated as a failure of the design.

  About your problem, it looks more like a problem of flash storage rather than a failure of the logic board, but retina MacBooks Pro have most of their parts soldered to the logic board, so, any repair is quite expensive. Finally, if you live in a European country, remember that your Mac has got a 2-year statutory warranty, then you may qualify for a free repair.

  The command for this will be a command 'Automation' which is written with the control command remotely 'VBS '.

  To set the label on a channel (let's call it Cx): VBS ' app. Acquisition.Cx.LabelsText = 'put your text here' "

  Notice the single quotes around the command 'Automation '.  The VBS command is a command remotely (written as a string on the device) and the automation controls are objects in Visual Basic.  The VBS command indicates the scope to interpret everything between single quotes, as if it were being sent directly from a VBS script.

  You can turn on the labels: VBS ' app. Acquisition.Cx.ViewLabels = True'

  The value can be: True, False or - 1 (true), 0 (false).

  I was wondering how I can set/get properties (including the name property) of my items, on my scene. Whenever I get a null value on my properties. I have a passage of the mouse and you want to get the name of via stage.getObjectsUnderPoint(stage.mouseX,stage.mouseY).  And here, I get a null / undefined / whatever...

  I already tried exportRoot.myMovieClip.name, event.target.name or stage.getChildByName... Now I'm out of ideas, why I still can't set/get properties.

  To clarify:

  I have a Movieclip(called: mc_myMovieClip) and the instance is named ins_myInstance, already placed on the stage. Inside the MovieClip, I have a Bitmap with the instance of ins_myInstance. Although I put all the names in animate CC, after having exported them its not directly accessible. The images are exported in their own folder. No Spritesheet. When I try with stage.getObjectsUnderPoint(stage.mouseX,stage.mouseY) my console says:

  What? It is true that intellectual .name for movieclips by default to null, but has no bearing on the possibility of the objects named address. If you have a clip on the stage that you named "bob" and then something like (this.bob.x); console.log works very well.

  If for any reason, you need to extract an object is called when executing, then first name all your objects: this.bob.name = "bob"; works perfectly well. Change the JavaScript code that is published is a terrible solution, because then you must manually update each time something changes.

  So, for complete names for children of all of the clip, we scanned raw properties from the clamp, then for each one found is a container object, analyze the table of children to see if it is also in this list. If this is the case, assign the value of the key as the name of the element. As follows:

  I used Applescript to create a text layer and specify its properties, but when I specify the font I get a compilation error:

  If I put the police manually and use 'get properties of the text object in layer art 1', the Script Editor returns (with a long list of other properties):

  so I think that I've specified the name of the font correctly at least. In the list of properties returned by the Script Editor, the font is blue like above, but all other property names are purple. It's I have to say something.

  Well, after some trial and error, I answered my own question. Here's what worked:
