  These features are provided not out-of-the-box. However, you can implement custom Javascript to achieve what you are looking for.

  In fact, we had implemented JS custom quick validation purposes and code below is a modified version of what could help you achieve what you're looking for. Basically the code validates a special multiple selection prompt and throws an error in case there are more than 3 values selected by the user. Validation occurs when the user clicks the GO button.

  Steps to implement the above code:
  -Go to edit the dashboard and place a text object below the area where the guest is placed.
  -Open the properties of the text object and paste the above code into it. Check that you check the option "contains the HTML markup.
  -In the above code, you need to make changes to the first 3 variables.
  * multiSelCol - holds the formula in the column that must be validated (inside the single quotes).
  * errMsg - error message to display if the user selects more than max no.. values and hit the GO button
  * maxVals - values number Maximum, the user can select the multiple selection prompt.

  I tested this code in IE, and it seems to work very well. Let me know if it works the way you want that there. Note also that this code does not work once you upgrade to 11g.

  That the SMTP server configured by your admin and create a privilege given to your role agent. Then schedule an Agents to yourself / Testuser with the report to be sent to external users as its content. Configure the profile of delivery to the recipient. In the implementation for electronic device - profile of delivery specify the external e-mail address. This might be useful

  1. as an IBOT set up and send it in the form of Excel, PDF or XML document in a scheduled interval.
  2. provide the user with an account and they download it themselves and limit users to reports of dashboard.

  You can deliver report to mobile phones, dashboard alerts, if you are using BI Publisher, then you can auto print by printer network ect. No provision of additional methods.

  Hello

  You can try to change the DashBarAlertCell class in the portalbanner.css file. This file is present in the folder res/s_oracle10/b_mozilla_4 (assuming oracle10 is the model used). You can add/edit these properties - font size, font, etc. to change the default font size, weight, etc.

  I try to use the framework of action in OBIEE 11 g, specifically to invoke a web service. When I go to New-> Action I get a server error:

  The viewer of the newspaper in Enterprise Manager gives us
  
  Alert UNKNOWN_CA received [HOME] - [IP address]. The peer rejects the chain of certificates as being unreliable or incomplete.
  
  We have SSL on and it works fine everywhere apart from when I try to create the action. (My colleagues and myself) have trawled through all the documentation and google everything we can think of without success. Has anyone another considering somewhere else or maybe has an idea as to what is happening?

  Yes its possible to display alerts to selected users...

  go to the dashboard-->--> offer more products

  Click on your ibot on the left...

  Then in the Receipents tab... Select 'Specific list of the receipents', then select the users that you want to display the alert.

  Click the Destination tab--> make this interactive dashboard is checked...

• Licenses implicitly when the recipients don't OBIEE named users?

  I wonder if anyone can clarify if send reports of OBIEE 11 g through Agents of which the recipient is not a user named system is a violation of the license agreement? Or in other words... we are allowed to send emails to someone through a proxy and do not have to worry about whether they are an authorized user of the system?

  Hi Paul,.

  I had a meeting the week last with people talking about Oracle licenses and it was on the table. When sending alerts, you can include anyone on the mailing list because they have access to the information of the company and is not the software itself. Now if you want users to be able to use OBIEE as a tool, they must be approved, or use a valid license. But for the purposes of data analysis, you're good.

• OBIEE load balancing

  In the configuration of the OBIEE + Planner, iBots tab, I can format several servers in the OBI Presentation Server to activate the load balancing.
  
  For example, if I fill in A:9677, B:9700 in this area, any job ibot initiated by the Scheduler will be submitted to anyone of the 2 servers randomly.
  
  However, in the journal of the iBot, I can see that where the presentation server is down (say Appendix A), if the iBot work is chosen at random to be presented to A:9677, even I put number of attempts is 2, all 2 events will be also directed to A:9677.
  
  Configurable Scheduler that it would again seek work to other servers defined? Does not seek the same server?

  The alert / err msg you mentioned are not considered to be a failure causing the switch to another BI CH provision, given that "Authentication failure" means users can not even connect and 'Unresolved Table' is not the kind of failures.

• How to disable alerts from travel time calendar

  From iOS 10, I get calendar alerts, not 5 minutes before my meeting (which is what I said), but rather these travel alerts in time talk about traffic conditions and if I leave now, I'll make my meeting... or something to that effect.  Is it possible to disable these and have just alerts timed static normal that I specify.

  And besides, all my calendar events have time to travel the value 'None '.
