Always display all empty but favorite bookmarks in the menu

I've recently updated to Firefox 7.0.1. After the recent problems with the sync, I noticed that when I choose "Show all bookmarks" from the bookmarks menu item, the page is empty, even if I see all of my favorites in the menu itself.

Also, when I try to add a new bookmark (cmd - D), the box that opens is also empty.

Any ideas?

One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

I thought that he went too; It is now called "show all bookmarks".

Try: Going on the file Menu, click Favorites, click Show all bookmarks. This should bring up the Manager of bookmarks (ps. I learned that it is good to save!).

  • Bookmarks bar is empty but favorite under menu bookmarks. How can I get Favorites appears in the toolbar?

Favorite bookmarks are in the library and I can click and open them in the bookmarks menu, but they disappeared from the toolbar.

Make sure the bookmarks toolbar is visible and "Bookmarks Toolbar items" are always placed on the bookmarks toolbar.

If the menu bar is hidden, then press F10, or press and hold the ALT key, which should make the "menu bar" appear.

Make sure the toolbars like the toolbar 'Navigation' and the 'personal bar' are visible: "view > toolbars".

    • Open the Customize via "view > toolbars > customize" or "Firefox > Options > toolbars" (Linux, Windows)
    • Make sure the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" are on the personal bar
    • If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the bookmarks toolbar, then FRY it in the toolbar palette in the window the bookmarks toolbar Customize
    • If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" or other items which do not appear in the palette of the toolbar or a toolbar, then click on the button "Restore Default Set"
  • Why not just make the Blue Star add bookmarks to the Menu "Favorites"?

Why is the easiest option to add a bookmark must dismiss this bookmark to the phantom Zone?
I guess that very few people want their bookmarks to be added to the section "Unsorted Bookmarks" directly by default, so why the star do this by default? I have given anecdotal-search engine to support my claim, with many people asking a semblance of this question I'm wondering now, and even more that involve people get confused and asking a version of ' where my favorites gone? "after using the icon star, to ignore the"Unsorted Bookmarks""section", if we can call such a 'section '.
I looked in the preferences of an option to change it so the Blue Star would automatically add them to the "Bookmarks Menu" instead of sodding them to Nowhereland, but I'm either missing or it is not there. I did Google for a bit, but I'm tired of dogged by similar information but largely unrelated, or the aforementioned confusion.
I know, I know, I * can * "right click", or I * could * 'double-click' the star icon and change the folder, but why should I do first? It removes the convenience of the "convenient" option
So, the star is, mock me, laughing at my multiple clicks wasted, ignoring that there no mortality of its own to meditate and still somehow with this lack of information against me.
All I wanted was a better way, and it's right there in my face, close enough that I can * click * it, but still far enough away to make fun of my simpler desires.
Thank you for what I guess has your time and review and any hypothetical help you can try to offer.

You can use the shortcut Ctrl + D (bookmark > bookmark this Page) to have the page my favorites in the Menu folder bookmarks.

If the folder is created in the unsorted bookmarks folder, then you won't see it in the bookmarks menu.

  • OpenVpn always connects at startup, but is not in the startup folder

    Hello

I am running win 7 64 bit and OpenVpn still connect at startup, but is not in the startup folder. It remains in my taskbar on the low right. I use it occasionally when I am engaged in international voyages and need a connection to the United States. I already checked the startup folder and I have nothing in there.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I had already tried this and it is marked as disabled. I can't understand this.

It could be launched as a service, visible on the Services tab in msconfig. Be sure to hide all Microsoft services front to disable all other services. I would also create a Restore Point and burn & test a Windows repair CD.

  • Window drop down bookmarks on the menu bar is missing

My Favorites are not missing, because I can access it through the sidebar.

However, I prefer the drop-down list in the Menu bar for my favorites. It is easier for me.

The Favorites drop-down list box has disappeared and I can't determine how to restore it in the menu bar. The menu bar is always on display and not hidden... just not favourites.

    Any help is appreciated.

  • Delete new section "Recently bookmarked" in the menu bookmark in Firefox 49

49 Firefox introduced a new article to the bookmarks Menu - times who descends from the toolbar button and the one on the classic menu bar. It is said recently set bookmark and is followed by the five most recently added favorites. How to remove it?

(Yes, it's a bit rude to create a new question to answer, but I think it's the best way to help disseminate this information to anyone looking for.)

You can hide gray position recently bookmarked and following five favorites using one of the following methods (apparently not all work on Mac):

    (1) context menu

Right click on the text "Recently bookmarked" and choose hide favourites recently from the bottom of the context menu (see screenshot)

Note: A user has reported that this does not work on the bookmarks Menu in the main menu on Mac, only the bookmarks menu bar that removes the toolbar button, which is shown in the screenshot.

    (2) directly change a preference

The menu item toggle a preference hidden from true to false, and you can do it directly as follows:

    (A) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (B) in the search above the list box, type or paste the book and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (C) double-click the preference browser.bookmarks.showRecentlyBookmarked to switch the value from true to false

  • menu of hyperlink is displayed when text is selected, not when the Menu item is selected. And of course does not display the available links. Where I'm wrong?

Try to make hyperlinks in a menu item. If I select the menu item, the menu of hyperlinks is not displayed in the menu bar. If I click on new and then the tex in the link is selected, the hyperlink menu appears but the drop down menu does not offer the available links. Where I'm wrong?

I think you use a menu by default on the page?

It's design of menu by default, because they are already linked with the respective pages that you can't change.

You can try to create the menu manual.

  • Sequence but transcoded to change the menu item

After I converted my PrPro sequence that I imported into again, I noticed that I needed to change the display settings in the menu.  I made the change, then built the DVD.  DVD reflects the FORMER executives of the poster.  Upone examine the project Panel again, I noticed that the status of transcoding is "converted" so I don't see a way to "re - transcode" sequence (although that would take forever).  How can I make a change to the menu and use burn a DVD that reflects the new changes AND I'd love to do it without having to retranscode.

I don't think that changing a menu should assign a sequence transcoded, so I don't think you should have to re - transcode the sequence (chronology). But if there is the possibility of "Back to the Original" when you right click on the menu, you should be that (I guess if the menus are transcoded, that's when the thumbnails are created, so back to the original must erase the transcoded files and allows you to transcode again with new thumbnails).

So make sure that you 'revenue to original' in the menu, then try to return to the original on the timeline as well.

If that did not work, try clearing your support cache - go to Edition-> Preferences-> media and press 'Media Cache database' 'Clean '.

If it does not, you can try to remove caching and the files transcoded to the project manually: hence your project file is still located, go to the folder that contains the files for this project and try to remove (or just move) anything in the folder Cache or Sources (transcode is in a subfolder in the Sources and it's pretty obvious that everything is because the files have) for the most sensitive names).
