  It's amazing to me the problem is often to find information to help on a simple topics in Microsoft Help and Support.  For example, as new Vista, I spent over an hour looking for the Protocol parameters to keep my window help and Support, always on top while I'm trying to follow his instructions on a topic.  All the variations of 'always help and support window always on top' I used, in the help on the computer, offline were in vain.

• Media Library (Windows 7 64-bit) can it be adjusted to be "always on top"?

  I use Media Center on my PC under Windows 7 64-bit to watch TV in a small window, but can't find a way to put it to always be "on top", so I can't do what I want - perform another task but still to see the TV.  Is it possible to establish that it is always on top, and if so, how?

  Select startup and Windows behavior

  Put a checkmark in keep always on top Windows Media Center.

  I have Windows 7 and you are running Wow and World of Goo in full screen without any problems.  You are your games running in window mode and to maximize the window or you run full-screen mode?  Make sure that you put it up to full screen and not the mode window. • Menu start is not always on top

  I just put a new installation of windows 7 on my laptop. Everything works very well except that when I maximize a window, the start menu is covered. I can't find any option to bring up the start always on top menu. How can I do so that I still see the taskbar?

  Anyone looking at this thread in the future. The only way I can find to solve this problem is to go to the start menu, and then tap on change username under the stop command. Click the account that you were just in and viola, it is set for a reason any. I don't know why it works, only that it does.

  I have only a single administrator login account and I've logged on as administrator. I need to keep Excel always on top. So I tried Office Pin, window On Top, software etc. but it does work because I open/running Excel 2010 (32-bit) as administrator due to need particular.

  I open/running Excel after changing the Excel.exe file "property > compatibility > privilege level" by selecting "Run this program as an administrator", as shown in this picture http://i.imgur.com/iEmyz.png. I get live market of software to Excel data, now I have to keep my Excel always above other windows all I can work on other applications/windows/browsers while still keeping the Excel on top.

  Fact. Problem solved.
  Control Panel > user accounts > change user account control settings > never notify (downstairs bar selection at least never notify) > OK (click OK).
  Restart the computer. Open Excel and PIN with DeskPins and now its works well.
  DeskPins earlier did not work for Excel (because the compatibility of Excel.exe has been amended as indicated in the previous/top of the post) but now its working fine after that changing the settings in the user account control settings and then restarting the computer.

  I can't get the toolbar remain on top. Especially when I open internet explore or optimize any screen.  I have 'locked' and unlocked the task bar in the Panel without result. There is no option "always on top" like previous Windows versions.  He does not reappear when I move the mouse on one.  It's very frustrating when I'm working on two or more tasks at once, as I have to minimize/back on the desktop whenever I want to switch between applications.   How do the taskbar to stay in front of it please?

  I suggest you try the following steps.

  a. right click on the taskbar.
  b. click Properties.
  c. on the taskbar tab, uncheck the option Auto-hide the taskbar.
  d. click on apply and OK.
  e. right click on the taskbar and lock the taskbar.

  Post us the results once you try the steps above.

  A master page must contain a composition on top (like a drop down menu with pictures and text in the drop-down list box).
  This area must ALWAYS be on top the articles I publish on each page.
  Now, the drop-down list box appears BEHIND the elements, which have been placed temporarily LATER on the page as the menu item (the composition).

  Is there a possibility of ' Always on top ' for Master Page items, I can manually create it?

  Quite simple: start using layers

  Put all the parts (including those of the master page) who need to stay on top in a top layer and keep the other stuff in the original layer (bottom). Learn how to create and use layers?

  I've updated to 11.0, windows vista. I have not noticed or I have this problem before the update. for example if I have firefox open and click on my calculator, the only way that I see it's to minimize firefox. I can't alt - tab to it nor can I click the icon in my status bar of windows. ???
  I looked in the settings, I saw an option always at the top of the page, but that's what it looks like.

  Any info will be appreciated.

  Make sure that you run not Firefox mode full screen (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Ctrl + Shift + F).

  Hello

  You can do this in Muse by using the option "Pin" available in the control panel.

  What you need to do is "pin code" bar black as well as the menu and other items to the top of your screen and then it will always stay at the top and follow while you scroll down.
