  You could try to copy the contents of the DVD to a folder on your hard drive. Then start the installation from there.

  (I've seen a post or two during the upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit of Vista 32 bit). Could just be a funky DVDROM drive problem. Copy of the files should ignore the issue.

  You can debug on the device. It does not work if you are behind a firewall which you control not (I can't do on my corporate network). But it should work. The application will connect to the debugger after the launch and you'll be able to debug.

  It might be a problem with the drive itself, or it may need to be formatted.

  I suggest you check out the website of the manufacturer for possible troubleshooting or know how to reformat the disk, if necessary.

  Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
