Now, every time I create a layer mask, or try to work on a Photoshop freezes completely, forcing me to restart and (most of the time unless I have record EACH step) start of a scratch. Which is pretty much annoying... any suggestions?

  A common problem on a MAC, less frequent on Windows based on my reading of the reports here in this forum

  You don't have WRITE permission in the folder where Lightroom is trying to copy the photos to (this file is put in the import dialog box in the Destination panel), so change your permissions.

  For future reference, the 201 is not the error code and no use for us here, it's the number of photos that are affected by this error. In the future, just give the complete error message.

  Probably nothing, it's probably a fluke. Try resetting the SMC and the PRAM by iMac Intel SCM and reset the PRAM. If this does not work, try a USB keyboard to test, if it works then your original keyboard has failed and must be replaced.

  Of course - Photos has no events, so there are no everts to merge

  You can combine the albums (which your iPhoto events have been converted to) easily (not command fusion but easy to do) - display the sidebar (menu display ==> see the sidebar) and open the source album, then drag the photos into the destination album and if wanted to remove from the source album

  Could you please share what's working color space in Photoshop?

  Try to change it to sRGB and check again.

  You might also want to calibrate your color monitor profile and check.

• Since the update of FF 8/9, many Web sites does not, even in safe mode. Any idea what the problem might be?

  All sites worked fine before v8.0 and 9.0. But now many sites (for example, newegg.com & baltimoresun.com) won't load. I hit the button reload several times before that something appears on the screen at all. I tried safe mode - no help.   Yesterday I was streaming audio of sky.fm and noticed that the back navigation toolbar arrow no longer and that he has failed since. FF restarting, rebooting the computer, same problem.   Hello. I uninstalled CS5.5 due to a bug in Illustrator, then reinstalled, without problem. But then Adobe refuses to activate - error code #1219:17. My CS5.5 is installed on this computer. Problem could be to do with the Adobe ID. I changed my address since original install so maybe Adobe think that someone else is trying to use my copy of CS5.5. Could not find a way to contact Adobe to address this issue.

  The first thing to check is if you have "all sections" selected. Push it + top button on the right, which should show you the section menu. Above that, it should say "all sections". Make sure that who is selected. I know not obvious, but sometimes it's the simple answer that works... Don't know what you need to do, if it is not there.
