apk file attached to the email

I'm developing an application and the development part is ok - I can build on Eclipse and install on the Droid via USB in debug mode.  But if I send the file apk on the phone and press the button to preview on gmail, I get "Parse Error.  There is a problem with the analysis of all"the journal has a message of PackageInstaller"Manifest Parse error when parsing.  Abandonment of installation.  This happens with most of the apk files I try, my own or even one manager Astro of files archived.  Also tried e-mail instead of gmail, but I just get "cannot display this attachment."  Anyone could send themselves an apk and install it?  Moreover, the "Unknown Sources" option in the Applications menu is activated.

An application named "tAttachApkInstaller" will solve all your problems, it is a must have app!

Joelbon: I think you mentioned having "Astro File Manager" installed, if so just to tell you you can long press on any file and select 'Send' and it gives you options to send through gmail, bluetooth, etc.

I can't open the files attached all e-mail (even if it's a small file, just 20 words on this subject). Please tell me how to solve this problem.  Thank you!

Since you have Open Office, you should be able to open it if you followed my instructions above to create a file association. People without Open Office won't be able to open it.  (http://www.ajaykumarsingh.com/microsoft/how-to-open-odt-file.html)

Given that you tried to create an association with no luck, I would say that this is perhaps a problem with Hotmail and ask here you can get a better answer.

  • Cannot open PDF files on Web sites, or when it is attached to the email!

    Hello
My computer is running Vista and I had this problem for the last 2 years! I can only receive the PDF sent by one of the companies I work for. I can't open most PDF files sent by attachment or all the files on Web sites. I have Adobe 9 and Foxit Reader and it does not work with either. I tried to re - install Adobe and still no luck. With Foxit Reader that I can manage to open the PDF files sent from the company I mentioned earlier, but that's all. I would really appreciate some help... Thank you very much! :) x

Try this: uninstall all the software that you have to display the PDF documents. Then try to open a PDF file. You should receive a message that "Windows cannot open this file". If you get the message that the file is "corrupt" or "not supported" means that you have another program or display of PDF files.
Once you receive a message that "Windows cannot open this file" download and install the latest version of Adobe Reader (9.3).

  • When I get an e-mail as a file attached to an email TB renames 'ForwardedMessage.eml '. Why does do this and avoid this from happening?

For example the email that my colleague sent me from Outlook included two attachments that were emails. In the partial screenshot attached 04.a RE startup files (from Squirrelmail): project and 05. AW:FW:ISAP. When I look at this mail TB two attachments are named "ForwardedMessage.eml". Can I do to fix this?

If the source is Outlook, it will be how Outlook encodes information. Check the mime type of attached files in the source of the message and that the information is complete and accurate. Microsoft have a bad habit to convey everything that the Content-Type: application/octet-stream; instead of more specific and more precise mime, tape for example Content-Type: application/pdf and expected the rest of the world to code around their negligence.

  • How to make a dvd in an attachment to the email

I'm trying to pick up the DVD of my son HS football highlights and hidden in an attachment that I can then send it to the colleges.    I have a HP Laptop vista and tried several options without success.  Would be very grateful for help.

    Sincerely,
    Mike Reagn

The suggestion of kathleencollins to send copies
DVDs for the colleges may be the best idea. You
could include a cover sheet that includes a picture and
other information that would be informative for the recipients.

E-mail providers have size limits that would be
large files prevent sending. What follows
the article proposes an idea of what these limits are:

Pushing the limit? Webmail & ISP file size limits
    http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/click-image-above-for-fullsize-140393
(scroll down to: "ISP and e-mail provider file attachment size limits")

    However...

If you wanted to 'short' clips from the DVD... by e-mail the
Freeware VLC media Player allows to record the DVD
content, as it is played. A second clip of 30 .mpg
    would be about 16 MB.

(The size of the .mpg clips could be reduced even
more if they have been converted to .wmv format using
a converter freeware like Format Factory)

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)
    VLC Media Player
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_vlc/
    (works on XP/Vista/7)
(the name of the file to download is: vlc - 2.0.1 - win32.exe)

    See the following article:

VLC 1.0 records video of the DVD
    http://Lifehacker.com/5318807/VLC-10-records-video-from-DVDs

I know that the article refers to an old version of VLC
but the steps are always the same... it can record any part
any video so it plays in VLC.

After recording... Search your clips in your folder my videos
with names similar to what follows:

    VLC-record-2012-04-05-01h07m16s-dvd___F__-.mpg
    VLC-record-2012-04-05-01h13m57s-dvd___F__-.mpg

(you can rename these to everything that you love so much)
    you save the .mpg extension)

For longer sequences which would exceed sending limits
your email provider, you might want to consider download
the clips on the following site, then send download
    link to your recipients.

    "SendSpace.
    http://www.sendspace.com/

It's very simple on SendSpace site the following...
the steps are all you need to do.

On the left, click on the Browse button and it will open a window
allows you to access the files on your hard drive.

Navigate to the folder your videos are in, and select one.

On the left, click on the download button.

When the download link appears... left click copy
button. (this will copy the link in your Windows Clipboard)

Paste the link in an e-mail message to your recipients.

When the recipient goes on the site.

(* these steps are important for the recipient downloads)
the correct video and not be re-directed somewhere
else clicking the wrong link *)

Scroll down a little and the left click the 'blue ': text

    * "Click here to start the download from sendspace" * "

Save the file to the desktop.

  • After having migrated to HPConnected Central ePrint problems with the print files sent to the email

HP has done once again huge confusion with the replacement of her service "eprint" to "HP connected". There is a reasonable need to do? In any case, after the migration, I noticed several problems:

1 PDF document, less than 5 MB, sent to the e-mail address of the printer is not printed. I noticed with a type of a PDF file that I receive from my Bank. Other PDF files are printed, sent by e-mail also. Any reference to what should be the reason of not print these PDF files?

I want to point out that the these PDF files, I'm referring to not print is printed with success if I print them since my network where the printer and not printed via eprint option in sending the file to the email address of the printer. When using old HP ePrint service, I was able to print PDF files sent by e-mail.

I get "system error, try again"! for the file itself and email body is printed correctly.

    2. in the use of HP eprint service, I used to receive the confirmation email after sending files by e-mail for printing. Now, this is not possible. Read about it on the forum I learned that this option is not available any more, after the migration to "HP connected". In this topic was given the opportunity to connect to connected HP and see if the file is printed or not. If HP has ruined their functionality for lets say more easy way to know if my files are printed or not. If I'm in a hurry and I send and send any phone to my printer, I will not receive any confirmation e-mail (with easy and speed) but I need to plug on HP connect... blah blah blah.

That is why I ask if there is possibility of RETURN migration to eprint, old and not fancy but functional HP ePrint service?

    Used printer:

HP p1102w CE658A, with the latest firmware, with operating system on Windows 7 computers (64)

and always gon no response on email sent to support.

    Its easy to find!

Product HP take or leave as it is.

When I go to send to my email address it processes claiming via the e-mail link electronic wireless (who has been varified and works) and the email arrives in my Inbox BUT without the document scanned as an attachment?

    Hey @Coltrt,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you have some problems with the scanning to E-mail on your 7520 Photosmart e-all-in-one printer. I can help you with that.

To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

    1. On your printer, click Web Services icon in the upper left corner of the display screen.
    2. Click settings.
    3. Click on delete Web Services.
    4. Click again on the Web Services.
    5. Click on accept and Yes.
    6. Configuring scan to E-mail.

Please let me know if attachments come after following the above. If they do, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • How can I stop videos attached to the emails I receive from switches to movie maker

If I get an email with a video attachment, when I try and open it, it automatically goes to movie maker, so I have to make a movie before that I can see and it never used to do this

You are probably the type of empty file in question (for example. MOV) associated with Movie Maker instead of the program that you want to use to see - such as Windows Media Player.

Since you do not give your version of Windows, choose the appropriate link below to find out how reassociate the type of video file with the player of your choice program:

When you attach a picture of the pictures to emails folder, the photo is automatically enlarged to several times the size of the screen.  This happens with photographs taken by several different cameras and on two different mail servers.  Can I do photos stay to a size so that they can be viewed without scrolling?

    Suggestion...
Open your pictures folder > click the photo you want > on the toolbar, click e-mail > a box will show you the size of the image. Click on the pointer to select other sizes > when finished, click ATTACH.

It is not an exact science, you might want to experiment with different sizes to find out which is the size you want. Do so by sending an email to yourself there. You can then transfer the a 'good' to your recipient.
