  Windows mail was working fine until about 2: 30 EST 2011-12-14 and tried to send an email and got the above error msg.

  Check with your mail service provider to make sure that there is not an intermittent interruption of service.  If you have webmail capabilities, you can also check.  Otherwise, compact and repair the database (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) and if that doesn't help, remove your e-mail account, close and reopen WinMail and then add it back back.  Also check 3rd party program interference such as antivirus software (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).

  Here's the situation:

  • My AppleID is [email protected]
  • My iCloud email address is [email protected]
  • Can I change my appleID password
  • I can't change my password of the email [email protected] account

  The above situation has become a problem because I'm trying to set up the e-mail to iCloud on an new email client (Outlook for IOS) and I do not know the password and have no apparent way to restore or discover.

  Before ask you what is obvious:

  • No, it cannot be done via the site AppleID - I tried already with the standard login.
  • No, try the 'road of forgotten password' using two IDS will only reset the NOT AppleID password by e-mail @icloud.com.

  I think it's all said above. Always use POP e-mail to move my Gmail to Thunderbird and it worked perfectly. Now apparently rec emails at random would be in Gmail server do not move to Thunderbird. Most do, some don't, and it seems so random.
  I checked all the settings I know and it corresponded exactly to the configuration I have on another computer set up with the same POP mail/thunderbird configuration, which continues to work perfectly.
  Any other explanation than switching to IMAP which I don't want to NOT do?

  Both computers have POP accounts? With POP by default is to remove the messages from the server. So the other computer can simply be faster from time to time and pick up the message first.

  When I try to send a screenshot of a web page, and after that I'm going to "email recipient" a small screen appears and tells me that "no profiles have been created.  To create a profile use the mail Control Panel icon.  What this means and how can I do?  I use outlook express and can not send another email, just not screenshots of web pages.  UPS used to before.  I recently "upgraded" in IE8.  Thank you!

  If so, use windows Explorer to access one of the following files depending on your system.

  64-bit system: "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Elements Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe 12.

  32-bit system: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe.

  Right-click on this file and select run as administrator and try again your email.

  You have only to do once.

  I guess you'll have to stick with Connect Lite until Comcast fixes the mess, they did the upgrade of Xfinity Connect. And this problem is not only to Firefox 7.0.1 from what I've seen this problem myself, I have to use Connect Lite with Firefox 3.6.23, too.
