Apple-UpNext iOS 10 music list (delete, arrange songs)

When I play a playlist a few songs I have delete it after a while, it will appear in the list, it's a bug?

How can I change songs upnext? can't see any edit button

I found when I play a playlist and add a few songs to 'play the next' it will get stuck in the next song or stop the playback, this bug too?

I can't help you with the bugs that you encounter, I have one of these. However, to solve a part of your question, to be able to rearrange the songs on your next list top simply to be sure that your repeat option is disabled. For some reason any, it is enabled by default. After you turn off recurrence, you should see the handle move them three bars to the right of the songs and power.

  • Apple's music has deleted my songs not purchased

Since the switch to Mac from Windows, I was told point of sale that if I were to subscribe to the apple's music he would send my entire library of music in the cloud. Once stand up my Mac and running the vendor Apple told me that my music would be transferred on my Mac. But unfortunately he didn't and I have now lost about 2500 songs from my iTunes library.

I am resubscribed to Apple music to access my music I hope, but I had no luck. I think I've been screwed by Apple a bit.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Liam

How long have you not subscribed to Apple music? Apple keeps only the information of account up to 30 days.

My boy, I him would not have done it like that at all.  It is very easy to transfer from one computer to another iTunes library, either with the Migration Wizard external drive (even a flashdrive so you're ready to do it in pieces).

  • List all the songs?

Hi, I have a quick beginner question:

I just finished all my music on my new SanDisk Sansa clip + loading, and I've encountered a problem. In the individual sections for each of the artists, there seems to be no way to list all of the songs from this particular artist in my library. Instead, there are only folders for each album and the "Play All" option. Now if I want to play a song in particular of this artist, I have to go to the respective album folder and select the song. It works fine if I remember the album for every song I want to play, but if I don't remember, I go through each folder.

What I saw before with portable mp3 players is a way to list all of the songs from a particular artist in alphabetical order, regardless of the album sound in. Is it possible to do this with my device? I've been looking in the menus on the camera itself and on this forum, but so far without success.

    Thank you!

You can see all the songs by an artist when choosing the artist, play together, and then pressing the button at 6 oclock and choosing back to the music list. The song list will however in alphabetical order. They will be in order, based on the album order, IE. first albumm 1 (based on the number of track), the song2 song, song 3,... Finally, the second song on the album 1, 2, song etc.

Would be nice if they could be presented in alphabetical order. I guess as a workaround you could try to put all the songs by an artist in one folder, then by browsing the folder using music files. Lists all the songs by an artist alphabetically (asuming the file name is the name of the song). I guess this could become unmanigable but when you have a large number of songs of an artist. Having too many songs in a single folder can bog down the player.

  • Bug in iOS 10 music "to the top following' list

A great feature of iOS9 was the ability to remove pieces from the list 'to the top following"in the Apple's music. You could allow a random music mix, but eliminate all the "buzz-kill" of future playlist songs.  I used it all the time.  But there seems to be a bug in this feature in music iOS10...

In iOS10 when I remove a song from the playlist "in following" the song (or songs) disappear when I slide to the left and press the Red 'delete '. But when the course of playing the song ends and its time to start the next song in the list "in following" songs previously removed reappear magically in the playlist.

If I still remove the songs in the list "in following", even once during playback of the song ends - all the songs you removed reappear again.

If I turn the IPhone Off + 6, then on the "next site" list will work correctly when the songs are removed for maybe 3-4 songs, but by the song 4 songs deleted reappears, and the cycle repeats. If it's intermittent.

I was a heavy user of remove songs from the list "in following"... a little disappointed this feature does not work correctly.

  • Apple music playlists lost only songs not recorded offline when you move to iOS 9.3

Hi very weird, but nothing new with Apple music that my playlists have been dirtied with once again.  I noticed my playlist before the update to iOS 9.3 now lacks all songs on them that were not saved in offline mode.  It has destroyed most of my playlists, and I have to build some from scratch once again.  Curiously, the songs that were once on these playlists are still in my library, but they were withdrawn the playlists during the update.  Is it possible to restore this or what do I have to manually put it even once?

    Hey,.

I had the same problem... I start noticing that he does after each update. I have playlists of 30 songs to 5 songs. It is really annoying to try to manually fix the playlists. First time it happened to Apple had put me Apple icloud under tension, restart the phone and repeat 5 times more. After many attempts, he returned eventually, but isn't this working time

  • If I built a playlist can I delete songs in the music list without deleting the playlist

I downloaded an album and had to rearrange songs about it.  I made a playlist and put everything in the right order.  I am now able to remove the songs in the list of music that aren't in the right order

If 'list of music' is your iTunes music library.  The playlist is simply a list of songs that are in your iTunes music library, you have chosen and placed in a desired order.  A song on the playlist cannot exist here if it is not in your library iTunes music.  If you delete a song on the playlist of your music library, it disappears from your playlist.

  • Why Apple have downgraded app music in iOS10?

I have never written a comment or opened a discussion here but I felt compelled after the last updated iOS10...

I do not understand why Apple have passed their music app when they are competing with major players such as Spotify etc.

As a music lover, I can create now is no longer lists Genius playlist with the music I record on my iPhone and it doesn't I have songs with stars rate - there is just a useless 'like' and the button "hate" frustrates me a lot. We used to be able to delete a certain song in a playlist as well, now, you can only delete the song completely from your library. UH no, stupid option! The music app has just become more simplified and boring application to use, ever. I was considering the permutation of Spotify for Apple music but there is no way so I do now.

Nobody knows how to get the message to Apple so that they sit and recognize that they made a huge mistake and start on a new update iOS10 to bring these great features, now disappeared?

I would like to hear from anyone who feels even though I know I'm not the only one there!

Yes, where EXACTLY E-X-A-C-T-L-Y is this dislike on the app button? I have iPad 3, do not find the option in the latest version for iPad 3 (not 10). ??? Very frustrating!

    No, they are still there.

Press and hold on the song you want to add to "To the top following" to obtain the menu:

If you want to see your list until next slide upward from the PlayBar at the bottom, which has the song being played, and scroll down to see the list of the next.

  • Bugs, bugs, bugs in iOS 10 music app

    Hello

I'm a fan of real music and I liked the app in iOS music 9. In iOS 10 music application looks pretty good - but works badly enough (which seems to meet the spirit of the time in it). All the stuff of the QA department Apple was on vacation the last few months? Sorry, but it is a real institution in the Organization and play my own music bought with joy using iTunes by using the app Bugs, bugs, bugs... Because I'm not unpayed do Apple employees work and wasting my time in product, analysis and report, I'd rather spend my time and money for a third good music player...

    Best regards, Bernd

  • iOS 10 music App sorting

While I have never exactly been impressed with sorting inside the music app, it seems they have worsened with the update.

I want to sort by Album year of the artist. Is this possible or we are doing just the bare minimum?

I came here looking for the answer to this question also.  The ability to sort the albums of artists per year now missing in iOS app music 10.  This is a deal-breaker for me and I don't see myself using the application if I can only sort by album title.  Apple... Please bring back the ability to sort by year!

  • I lost the music: when I delete a song in a playlist it is also deleted in my library

I use regular playlists, not the smart playlist. I followed the instructions on the site Apple help to iTunes, where it is written "deletion of an item in a playlist is not delete it from your iTunes library or your computer." I'm in the playlist, find the song I don't want to get there, click on the... where I can add it to other reading lists or delete. Choose Delete. Now, I realized right after editing a bunch of playlists and songs of them, deleting it also deleted from my iTunes library. I had to re-import (those I remembered the deletion) to have the songs in my library and other playlists.

How can I delete a song in a playlist and keep it in the library?

I have 12.3.3.17 which I believe is the latest version of iTunes.

Open the playlist.  Select the piece to remove. Press Delete on your keyboard.

  • Apple music isn't streaming songs that are not in 'my music '.

Since yesterday, Apple is no longer music any music that is not in my music.

If I go on For You or New and tap a song I don't have in my music it looks that it is subject to play, but then instantly give up and does not play. Nothing that I cannot make him play. However if I tap on the + the button to add the song to my music, then I peut play very well.

So I can play any song that I have in my music, so that it Match or by adding it through the Apple music iTunes. I can't just listen to any song that is not already in my music. Radio also works very well.

I tried to restart my iPhone (iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.1) and signing out and back in the Apple's music, but it makes no difference. Same thing happens on iPad and Apple TV.

I have not yet found a solution to the problem. I created a video to illustrate the issue:

  • How to stop music on iOS 9.2.1 to download songs?

My iPhone is trying to download songs from 2000 and I can't get him to stop. I don't know how he even started or what he's trying to do - I sync my music on my computer and actually have the cellular data disabled for the music on my phone. How can I stop the downloads? There is a bar at the top of the screen in music that says "2 021 downloads rest." When I touch this bar I get a list of the songs and the only option is a button top-right that says: 'done '. Touch this button only goes back to the previous screen, but does not prevent downloads. Any suggestions?

Double click on the Home button and find the app in multitasking mode music. Then drag the music until he goes. Then, try a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it rises. You won't lose anything. See if that helps.

  • If I delete a song in the list of duplicates itunes, it has an effect on the existing playlist?

If I delete a song in the list of duplicates itunes, it has an effect on the existing playlist?

Official notice of Apple on the duplicates is here: find and remove duplicates in your iTunes library. This is a manual process and article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls such as the lost coast and membership of playlist, or sometimes the same file can be represented by multiple entries in the library as well as a removal and recycling the file will break all the others.

Use MAJ > view > show items to reproduce exactly to display the duplicates because it is normally a selection more useful. You must manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sort the list by Date added can make easier select appropriate tracks, but it works better when executed immediately after the dupes were created.  If you have several entries in iTunes connected to a same file on the disk hard then don't not send to trash.

Use my DeDuper script (Windows only) If you are not sure, do not want to do it by hand, or want to maintain ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this background thread , this post for detailed instructions and Please take note of the warning toback up your library before deduping.

(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to temporarily view or CTRL + B to keep displayed.)

The latest version of the script can put away the dead links as long as there is at least a double live to merge his stats and membership of the playlist and must deal wisely when the same file has been added through multiple paths.

With this many files, it might pay to break down the problem into smaller pieces.
