Apple Watch SS composite rear stripes?

My Apple Watch is 1 months old tomorrow.  I like it.  I have protected the watch face with armorsuit screen protector.  The watch is mainly on my wrist or in the charger and not where elsewhere.

But I notices that there are all these fine scratches on the face of the composite rear sensor.  They are not so bad now, but I guess that they could begin within a year that affect the sensor readings.

I guess the charger could do that.  I saw someone post a vid on how to put some on the charger fine Microfiber cloth.  I can try this to keep scratches to worsen.

But the scratches on the back side can be polished?  And if so, how?

Hi Bob

Use to ensure that your watch keeps all the features, Apple does not recommend polishing he or she polishing with abrasives.

It is also risky to put anything between the back of the watch and the charger. (Even accidentally leaving the thin plastic wrap, original on the charger may cause problems with the load).

To avoid additional scratches, rather clean the back of your watch - and also the surface of charger - before loading your watch. In doing so, don't forget to follow the instructions from Apple for the cleaning of your watch and charger (including using a non-abrasive, lint).

    Hi Billie

If you experience a rash, swelling, itching or irritation any discomfort on your skin around or under your watch, Apple recommends that you remove your watch and see a doctor / physician before wearing again. Skin reactions may be the result of various causes including:

    • Allergies (such as nickel):
      • Parts of some bands of Apple Watch stainless and magnets strips contain some nickel.
    • Prolonged exposure to irritants (e.g., SOAP or the sweat);
    • Environmental factors;
    • Wear the tape too tight or too loose (for example causing friction).

Irritants can do skin reactions more likely if found between the watch and/or tape and your skin. Keeping your watch, strip and clean, dry skin can maximize comfort and prevent damage in the long term of the watch. It is particularly important to do after workouts or exposure to liquids that can cause irritations of the skin.

  • Hi I have a new Apple Watch - sport Strip. Is it possible to buy separately strips that can be used with the watch?

Hi I got a new Apple Watch as a gift at Christmas - sport band, white, 42 mm. 7000 series. Since this is my first Apple Watch, I wonder if I should check all options at the store before opening the box. Is it possible to buy separately strips that can be used with the watch?  Thank you, in advance, for any advice, guidance, you can offer the wisdom.

    Hi, Kate

Yes - any band Apple Watch 42 mm fits your Apple Watch.

Non-Sport bands have different lengths, then check the circumference of your wrist and see Apple Watch Sizing Guide (that compares all the Apple strips) before you buy separate bands:

    http://www.Apple.com/shop/watch/Sizing-Guide

Try them in an Apple Store, it's also a great option.

The Sport of Apple Watch also has an anodized aluminum housing, while the non-sport bands have different metals of cards and/or links (this does not affect the compatibility, only appearance).

  • GPS number race Nike Run Club with the Apple Watch 2 series

I have my Apple Watch 2 configuration with the Nike Run Club app.  Repeatedly, I tried to run without my iPhone (6 current execution 10.0.2) and for some reason that GPS doesn't seem to work. While I open a session is running, pace/time is completely off and it isn't GPS data capture because cards do not appear in the app once I connect and send the run. Also, I assume that the GPS does not work because the pace is so far off the coast. It seems to me that it is logging tracks using the accelerometer, which has not yet been resolved as I want to be able to connect the tracks using GPS.  I need help. Has anyone else had the same help as he attempted to use this app? • Apple Watch Group compatibility

    Hello world

I have a Apple Watch Sport 38mm (1st gen). I was about to buy series 2 Apple Watch soon and I was wondering if my old Apple Watch Sport bands would be compatible with my new Apple Watch series 2? If anyone can let me know I would appreciate it a lot.

    Hello

    Yes, they would.

All strips of Apple Watch, past and present, will be to adapt any Apple Watch of the same size of the case (42mm or 38 mm).

To clarify, series 1 does not refer to your existing, first generation watch. He referred to a new Apple Watch model that has the same characteristics as the original Apple Watch, with the exception of a new dual-core processor.

  • A sapphire glass Apple Watch access scratches?

    Hello

It is possible that you did only scratched in the coating resistant to fingerprints, repellent. It is normal that this coating to wear away under normal conditions of use, but it can become scratched without damaging the screen below.

If you have scratched the screen or not, Apple recommends not using products cleaning or polishing or Polish the watch with abrasives; These will carry away the lining and may also (still) scratches on the display under.

The watch is covered under limited warranty a year Apple against any material or manufacturing defect, but not against accidental damage or misuse. The apparent defects - which include scratches - are not covered under warranty (AppleCare or +).

If you make a Genius Bar reservation, Apple may inspect the brand and advise of any available service options:

A good quality screen protector (thin film type) can be effective in concealing or reducing the visibility of the brands, as well as to provide some protection against future damage.

  • Will you be able to download nike + Apple Watch 2 series when it becomes available in October?

I was wondering if the only difference between the two watches is only the version of the Nike + is delivered with the perforated Strip sport and preloaded with software Nike +? Two things that theoretically could be added to the series 2 shows at a later date.

If I had to bet, I would say that you will be able to download the Nike + app to any Apple Watch, as well as the faces and other accouterments of software, but the group will be probably exclusive to the Nike + Watch version.

That is, I doubt that the band will be sold stand alone.
