Go to the home screen. Swipe up from the bottom bezel to hide running applications and to expand the area of the icon. If you see small places just below the first line (the "dock"), and most left is white, you're in the right place. Otherwise, swipe the box icon right until it scrolls to the first round table, where the more to the left will be white.

Now, if you still don't see the applications downloaded at the bottom of the icon area, make slide icons up. This time, you're not dragging * scope * off-screen, but within the area of the icon itself. Basically, put his finger on one of the icons below and "slide up" screen. This until you have reached the bottom of the list and you should see your downloaded applications.

If everything that has worked, or maybe even if it didn't begin to 'play' and explore these gestures so you will have a better understanding of the functioning of the interface user of PlayBook. It may take a few minutes to adapt to it, but after a while, he'll feel intuitive and you won't miss the ease of use when you are on other devices.

  • Applications for Smartphones blackBerry does not download with the bb app world

I just got a new bb bold 9780. I get errors when I try to download apps. I've deleted and reinstalled world app bb twice, and that did not help. I am able to look for apps and click Download, then I get a series of errors:

    1. sometimes it is just about starting to download for hours/days

2 legal, I get an error that says: this application not available for download on the bb app world (I even got this error when you try to download an update for the bb app world! lol)

    3. sometimes, I get an error message saying cannot connect to the bb app world, please check your connection

My connection is good, as I can browse the internet without problem. There isn't any app problem individual because I have tried several apps.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    So, I found the solution!

Basically it seems to be a problem in the world of bbapp. I know that I was using the right email and password I used several times to download new applications. This combination is no longer works somehow. To solve the problem simply:

Sign up for a new world bbapp ID!

That's all! You will need to use a new email address, so it's annoying, but it works.

    It's a very simple solution!

The old e-mail/password combination is in no. man s land. Can't explain this part. Also, I can't explain why it didn't come with an error when I enter the password it is not working. It shows that I have registered, it just does not allow me to download anyting.

In any case, can't complain too much because it's Aussie a simple solution.

    good luck to all!

If you don't know how to register for a new BBappworld ID do the following:

    -Click on the bbappworld icon

-Select the icon of my world

-Click on the button of menu while in my world

    -Select disconnect

-Select the icon for my new world

-Scroll down to create a BlackBerry ID.

    That's all!

Hello. When I go to BlackBerry App World > My World, I get the message "You have all the apps from App World installed." It certainly isn't true that I downloaded and installed a lot of apps in App World, including free RIM applications.

Don't know not just if it is relelvant, but recently I bought a PlayBook and I am using the BlackBerry ID, but that shouldn't be a problem, right?

  • Applications for Smartphones blackBerry with Wi Fi does not

    Hello

I had T-mobile connection and data on the blackberry Curve 8900 phone plan. Finally I moved to the India and my phone was unlocked by T-mobile. Now my carrier is Airtel and I don't have a data plan with my carrier.

When I try to connect my phone with WiFi, Internet works fine in browsers (both in Internet explore and Opera) but applications like gmail, facebook... do not work.

    For example:

    Gmail - Tunnel failed error

Facebook - data not available error service

    OS V5.0.0.190 (Platform 5.2.0.11)

Please someone advise on this... Thank you!

OK, you need a data Plan for BlackBerry from your operator for the features and functions of BlackBerry.

Some third-party applications like Opera Mini will work, and thus, your Hotspot browser will work with WiFi.

You must have the data Plan, in order to get the push RIM email functions you are looking for, as well as services of BlackBerry data such as the Web browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger and much more.

Then call your carrier and you learn about to have added to your account BlackBerry data Plan.

    Good luck.

A quick way to start is to download and install Eclipse with the bundle of BlackBerry WebWorks plug-in. It is available for download on:

Alternatively, you can use the newer approach, of ripple:

  • Create application communicating with smartphone BlackBerry PlayBook

I want to build apps PlayBook that communicates with the smartphone BlackBerry.

For example, create the document or something using BlackBerry smartphone while I'm out, change it with PlayBook when I went back to the office.

    My questions are:

    * PlayBook reads smartphone as the persistent store data?

    * If Yes, where can I find the document resource to do?

    * If not, is there another way to get data of the smartphone?

None of this is currently available in the SDK 0.9.1.  It is said that would not be possible, but has received no roadmap.

  • Application for Smartphones Wifi blackBerry using BB 9000

I guess the BB uses the dns servers of Rim or a proxy server to route requests to the www through when using WAP and data plans.
This is the case when you use the wifi carriers charges would not apply and neither would release of the data carriers.

The reason I ask is that when you use wifi with our router, all applications for MTS via port 80 get routed through a dns/proxy filter that restrics some sites.
These sites are always available and accessible.

This, I guess that two www requests are made for a rim proxy server NOT on port 80 and/or dns are requested through the rim when the wifi and there is no need of.

Anyone has any ideas or can shed light on this. ??

Heard, so it seems that you use BIS which does not explain why the HTTP request comes from a different server. BIS has a public browser MDS (the Web browser) that optimizes traffic for BlackBerry when traffic happens on the network of the carrier and if you are connected to WiFi it does not matter the traffic via an Internet browser / BIS goes out through public servers.

If you want to force someone to be able to use the browser WiFi using your network connection and router and respect your filters, you can remove with IPPP for BIBS service in her book. This is only temporary and will come when a BB re-entered on the network.

As an alternative to the use of BIS if you want to force traffic to go, well, your own internal network, you can watch the offer BlackBerry unit. The only downfall is that unit requires a computer connected to the net to make it work. Apart from that, it is a BES mini that will ensure traffic flows on through your home network first and not by the BIS browsing public that you cannot filter.

    I hope this helps...

  • Application for Smartphones CDMA/GSM blackBerry 9650 on

    Hi all

I am interested in buying a 9650, but am confused about one thing:

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/devices/blackberrybold/bold_specifications.jsp

    BlackBerry Bold 9650:

    • Networks GSM/GPRS/EDGE quad-band: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
    • Single band: 2100 MHz UMTS® networks / HSPA
    • Dual band: 800/1900 networks MHz CDMA/EVDO REVA

Does this mean that there are three different "types" of 9650 (GSM, UMTS, CDMA), or that there is one device that has all of the above functions?

And I have reason to believe that the reason for these different types is that carriers from different countries use a different technology (e.g. GSM in Europe) and CDMA in US?

And, finally, why this difference? Certainly, it would be easier to have just a bunch?
