  CVI comes with a custom control called Radio group that you can use for this purpose. It is a custom tree control that you can add to a group of experts. You can locate this control in the control of Toolslib:

  

  If you don't want to use this instrument, it is pretty simple implementation of a group of radio buttons. You can use something like this:

  1. Create controls that must be grouped on the Panel
  2. Create a control array
     CTL int [3];
     CTL [0] = PANEL_RADIOBUTTON1;
     CONT [1] = PANEL_RADIOBUTTON2;
     CTL [3] = PANEL_RADIOBUTTON3;
  3. In the reminder of the command:

  I set the background color of shapes in blue in the formsweb.cfg file. I used 4 radio buttons in the form and at the time of execution, the background color of the option button is gray.

  I'm really new to LiveCycle ES, I would be too embarrassed to tell you how I came across this app.  I've attached a screenshot of a such question survey designed by our sales team.  Ideally, they want formulate me the answers to the question in such a way that the response of n/d, if selected by the user, does not allow other radio buttons on the same line selection.  Each group is a group of exclusion so that in each category is allowed that one answer, I built.  The problem is that the N/A option is its own group of radio buttons and cannot be deselected.

  Someone has advice on how to manage a radio button option N/A or may suggest a completely alternative way to handle this.  Its better if you look at the screen shot to see how hokey, it's really.

  You copied my script, but did not change the names of path for the form variables. My root of form was 'form1 '. The root of your form is "SupplierSurvey".

  In addition, two variable shape rules of naming conventions: don't use dots (.) and don't use hyphens (-).

  I've renamed "on Page4-SurveyStart" to "Page4_SurveyStart" and removed the '. 1' extension of groups radio button exclusion to point 1.1. Accordingly, the code works for section 1.1 and you need to make the changes to the other sections.

  I'm new to PDF forms and have never tried to use JavaScript. However, I have learned many things and I have followed several threads and almost accomplished what I want, but have hit a block. I don't understand the JavaScript well enough to find my problem. Your help is greatly appreciated.

  SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Adobe Acrobat X Pro Mac OS 10.8.5

  WHAT I WANT: a form of several pages (100 pages) of grading of student assignments. Each page must have the same fields, but as each page belongs to a new student, he must have different values in the fields on different pages. Each page contains 4 questions to score, with possibilities of 4 points for each question (0, 1, 2, 3 points), and then only to 01:20 should be selected by the question.

  WHAT I HAVE BECAUSE, by following the instructions in this thread (Re: multiple-page form) ):

  (1) created a form with a field for the name of the student and 4 sets of radio buttons (labeled Questions 1 to 4, with choice of score 0-3).

  (2) placed a button at the bottom of the page that will generate a new page and rename fields.

  (3) set this page as a template.

  4) has created a page.

  (5) made the model "hidden."

  THE PROBLEM: Steps 1-4 above work perfectly - as long as the model (called 'Form') is visible, when I click the button, a new page generates and student name field renames fields to Page 2 for "P2. "Form.Student ID # ' and the boxes option and rename it 'P2 '. Form.Question 1 "etc. Whenever I press the button, it renames everything properly.

  However, if I hide the model, then when I click on the button on page 1, Page 2 fields are renamed "P1. Form.StudentID # 1. "AND THE RADIO BUTTONS DO NOT RENAME. They get the name "P1. Form.Question 1 "etc. So the student name field did rename in a way that allows me to enter a new name on every page, but is not actually reflecting that I am on page 2, and regarding radio buttons, at that time, I can't enter the different scores on different pages because they are all part of the same group radio button.

  If I use checkboxes, they rename similarly to the student ID field, but I don't want to use checkboxes because I want to back a possible score value for each question to have the data in the table. I don't want to not let the model visible because when I distribute this screen allows other workbooks, they can enter values in the page template without realizing it, and then when the forms of spawning, they hurt the data already entered.

  Here is the script that I put as the mouse to the top button script:

  Basically, you put the following script in the click event of the group radio button exclusion:

  It is on the basis of option buttons left and right being inside an exclusion of called "direction" radio button group Also if you have specified a value in the object > range of liaison for the option button, the script would need to test this value.

  You can adjust the margins textfield in the page layout palette, so that the underlining is lifted up. Trial and error.

• Modification of several radio buttons to a different group

  I have a pretty big shape based on the print that I need to turn it into a form online. I already have a PDF of the document and I just want to add radio buttons on top of the boxes existing. Each question had three possible answers (Yes, no, n/a), and of course I need to put each group of 3 checkboxes in the same group to make sure that they behave as expected and only allow one option by question.

  For the speed, I called the three checkboxes, gave them the right answers and the same group name, then duplicated them between the shape of alt - dragging them.

  I now need to go through the form and change the group names so that they are grouped by issue, rather than being part of the same group.

  i.e.

  The first group is P2_Q1. I want to choose the next group of three radio buttons in a single operation, and change their group to, say, P2_Q2. Then change the next group of three at P2_Q3, P2_Q4 and so on...

  I don't want not to change the name of each option button group, partly because I have a lot of questions, but also partly because that forced to do suggest Acrobat violates every principle of sound mind and good software design, Acrobat already makes my head ache like it is.

  I rarely use radio buttons, but when I do a large number of groups such as this (usually groups of checkboxes) I use a custom tool I built which allows me to quickly create fields. If although there is not a good integrated solution, it is possible to build a.

• Problem of having a group of radio button deselect when I choose a different button

  I'm hoping to get help on having two radio button deselect when I select another radio button.  It's a bit complicated to explain, so I made an example below.  Pay now and pay later are radio buttons with the same group name (choice).  Balance credit card and by check are another set of radio buttons with the same group name (Options).

  What I need to happen is if you click on pay later after accidentally clicking the pay now and pay by credit card options, The Pay Now désélectionnera but pay by credit card or pay by check désélectionnera not.

  I think I need to use a java code with possibly affecting values to some buttons, but I have no idea how to proceed.  Please see the example below if what I typed makes no sense.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  A way to accomplish what you want is to assign an action to the button pay later which is reset a form.

  Then you choose Reset only remuneration by group of credit button.

  I am trying to create an interactive form in Indesign. When I create selection of different lines with the radio button options. When I export PDF all radio buttons respond to each all the different lines. Is it possible to group together them I'm not finding where only the keys for the turn on and off specific issue and not all the lines with different questions. They seem to be all connected. I'm sure I'm missing a setting or a way to isolate a group form another, but I can't understand it. Thank you.
