Apps quit properly or to force out
I had a strange problem on my macbook pro (el capitan 10.11.5, processor 2.5 GHz, 16 GB of memory, everything is completely up-to-date) where certain apps quit properly? as I press "quit" and everything will act as it's quit smoking and application does not show in the activity monitor, but it appears still in the dock with the point below which means it is still ongoing, and it appears in the Panel force quit so. When I right click the application in the dock, the force quit option appears but stop trying to force does nothing. the command "killall Dock" in the terminal does nothing. When this happens, I can not stop or restart my computer (even once, clicking on the option does literally nothing) so I have to stop it by pressing the power button. only when I restart the computer in this way the app seems to be properly closed.
I don't know what determines which applications - so far, it has happened with adobe media encoder, the sims 4 / origin (originally 4 aperture opens sims and then will exit properly), stardew Valley (which I run by wine, because it is only for pc and I use a macbook), pixelmator, illustrator and photoshop. I thought maybe it was a problem with my old laptop because he couldn't handle the treatment feed certain apps to take (these are applications that would be sucking the life of the battery of my old laptop as a vacuum, same everything plugged, I'm talking at least one per cent per minute), but the question followed me to my new laptop (I used time machine for the transfer from my old computer to my new) so I guess it's a software issue? but it started maybe a week or two ago, and I don't know what I could have done to make it. Anyone have any ideas? Google has not been able to help me, I see is "go to activity monitor and find the force quit from there and app" which is useless, because they do not appear in the activity monitor.

Is there a way to force out XP in a virtual machine?
I bought a new iMac last week and Apple Store people transferred my files from the old machine, except for the Boot Camp partition. I decided to give up Boot Camp and install Windows XP in Fusion that I did successfully but has no transfer or re - install my programs or data because Apple has informed me that I had a bad hard drive Seagate, which was recalled. The tech came today and swapped out and I restored from a backup time machine, with the intention of re - install XP. Thought that I had excluded the virtual machine from the Time Machine backup so I was a bit surprised when he showed up after the restoration. I was able to reboot the virtual machine VMWare Fusion in XP and installed Norton AV and Quicken however when I tried to install MS Works (while legacy software) Windows froze and don't re - start, does not close and I have this strange little window that does not close.
Any ideas?
In case you want to force shut down a virtual machine, you can use this methord:
Go to menu Fusion, Virtual Machine, and then you will see "Shut Down" (it's soft closing down like stopping a virtual machine safely). Then hold down the option key, you will see changed in "Force shutdown", it's a power off of closing down. Use this when your VM is hang.

A week ago started with Apps does not. A reboot can free some Apps but now others hang (does not). Hard shutdown does not help. Did several restarts and hard stops up to the point where I now have email, Contacts and calendar works, but not other applications (including own BlackBerry settings do not work). Nothing work will result in a series of hard reboots and or alternatively the parameters works, but nothing else. Reading messages suggests that I might have to reload the software passport from scratch. Download link of BlackBerry that recognizes my BlackBerry - 817A is connected but responds with "cannot communicate with the device. Without that I can not save my camera and I can't relaod softawre. Tried two different phone/computer USB calbes (of which one with the BlackBerry logo on it) and it does not help. I'm stuck and need help.
Novel in all of this, my phone still working.

I've already paid twice for the photography for app package and CC always forces me to buy
I paid the package of photography for app twice in one day and the CC app still asks buy me Lightroom and Photoshop. I have invoices and emails confirming the payments made. I can still see him BUY (for Lightroom) and the buttons TRY (for Photoshop) in the dashboard CC and they don't get updated. It is such a waste of money? I always have trouble renewing my monthly subscription, and it is by far the worst I've experienced on the renewal of the subscription plan and installation. I have already submitted a message to the support, but did not comment further.
He has not updated the first time I set the payment earlier today and I tried to uninstall CC dashboard and put it back, once again before my 2nd payment. It was not updated either. I hope someone can help me with this. Thank you!

Path forced out of a different path when tracing
I've recently upgraded to Illustrator CC 2015 and have noticed that sometimes, when I'm exposing a current path, by clicking the point / the path will force my current path off the coast. It is difficult to articulate, so I recorded it. See below. I have the guides and snap to Point on. Aside from that no other AIDS (grids) is on.
Any help is very appreciated!

Adobe Acrobat Reader app will not let me fill out forms
I have Adobe Acrobat Reader on my iPhone. I tried to fill out a form from this link: http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864.pdf. It's a protected form and Acrobat was not let me fill out the form. I tried to fill in the form with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my PC and I have not had any problems. I also tried FoxIt PDF on my iPhone and I had no problem with filing of the form.
S Malik,
The PDF in particular (i - 864.pdf) is a special type of PDF form called a static XFA form.
Unfortunately, mobile applications of the Acrobat Reader (for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone) do not accept the static or dynamic XFA forms created with Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

How to properly use the force?
I have this type
Hello
Your code (with a / after the second command CREATE TYPE) works very well for me.
Whenever you have a problem, send a script of full test that anyone can run to recreate the problem.
Always say what version of Oracle you are using (for example, 11.2.0.2.0).
See the FAQ forum: https://forums.oracle.com/message/9362002
What do you mean be ' does not '? If you get an error message, why not to show?
How do you know that FORCE the cause of the problem? The second CREATE TYPE statement works for you if you remove the FORCE?

Firefox 8 does not properly complete OS x 10.7.2: must use force to quit smoking
Since the update to Firefox 8 (Firefox 7 on 10.7.2 worked without problems) I can is more closed Firefox properly.
Firefox must be closed using the option to force out.
I also noticed read/write access increased from hard drive since the upgrade to Firefox 8 and switch between tabs is significantly slower.
Whenever I had problems with FF after an update, it's usually an add-on that does not play well.
My most recent problem was Firefox does not not at launch.
I created a new profile and it worked immediately.

How can I stop Mail with full-screen, can only leave by force quit...
Since trying without success to get rid of some ghost emails, (message reads cannot send in the trash, because there is no e-mail!) I can't get Mail to quit smoking by using force quit. Because it takes up mode full screen and I can't get the red and the green power button keys.
Cmd-ctrl-F.
Or move the mouse to the top of the screen and the menu should appear.
If he is suspended and the menu does not appear when you move the mouse to the top of the screen, then perhaps the shortcut works.

How can I make my default app iPhone music to a playlist?
I created a Playlist named 'Favorites' and because I want the music app to always open in this playlist, I selected Playlists and selected reading list 'Favorites '. But when I leave the music app and re-launch-le, he never remembers that... still, it insists on opening with 'My Music' at the top of the screen, listing ALL MY MUSIC, classified by artists, so I have to select my favorite playlist every time I run the music application again.
The impression that it is not too much to ask to have the music app to remember where it was, so finally you left. But I don't see any option on my iPhone Settings\Music do remember, making it default to my desired favorite playlist.
The apparent only to achieve, solution is to never force, exit music... I have to keep 'on' constantly, in the background. I do not do that; I have the smoking habit strength applications when I don't use my iPhone (by going to the main screen, double click the main button and dragging each app, of the road, requiring each app to exit). I do this because I do not have dozens of applications at the same time suspended in the background.
So, is it possible to the default value of the application a specific playlist music?
Hello autochthon,.
Unfortunately, there is no way to make the app open to the tab list music default playback. The only available sort options come from the drop-down list at the top of the screen. In the 'My music' tab, you can choose to view music by artist, albums, songs, music videos, genres, composers and complications. In the "Playlist" tab, the drop down options allow you to select a playlist by default to display, or to display all the playlists.
That said, I thought that it is prudent to note that double-clicking the home button and drag on an app is just the normal method of closing a Consider approx. slide out to be the equivalent of iOS of by clicking on the red x, or by pressing Cmd + Q. Force iOS apps quitting smoking is a process more long which includes holding down the lock/sleep button until "slide to power off" screen , then now the home button until the home screen appears (this force resignations unresponsive applications).
All that being said, your best option is probably very one you are not eager to use. Just let the music app open in the playlist tab. leaving an application running in the background is a non-issue for modern smartphones. Apps are now hanging in the background, unless they are approved to update in the background (for example, push, push email notifications). So worry not drain your battery or consume system RAM. Just leave the open music app so that you can enjoy the convenience you're looking for.
Good luck

Storage in my apps blackBerry Smartphones
Hi all
I recently bought a blackberry curve 9300.
I would like to know that, after the storage (256 MB) in my world (applications) space is filled (1.8 GB) media card storage allows instead?
If Yes, then how can I change the settings to make my memory to the main storage space in 'my applications' card?
If no, then how can I free up space: 256 MB... I have only 5 MB left and uninstalled all applications that I don't use.
Hi and welcome to the Forums!
The short answer is no. And the way to free memory is to have as few applications as possible, make sure that you have no applications with memory leaks always close apps correctly and restart (battery pull) from time to time to clean things up.
The longer answer is here:
There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) application memory, the device memory) 2 and 3) Media/SD memory card
Application memory - it is the most important; It is protected (not available to the user), dedicated and (fixed size) space as the destination for the installation of applications (more a few storage applications, overhead and other costs). You can't touch AppMemory. You cannot improve the maximum AppMemory that your BB has. It is what it is. Applications can install only here... There is no other choice.
The device memory - it is space on your BB you can touch these files, images, media, etc. In general, it is not very big, but it is available.
Memory card SD/Media - is what it says... your SD card to store files, media, photos, etc.. It can be as large as your BB OS can support... see this KB:
- KB05461 Sizes of card MicroSD taken in charge by the BlackBerry device software
On some devices/OS levels, you can see 'Free file' (Options > status), I think this is equivalent to AppMemory. You can see on other devices, all the memory usage levels three (Options > memory). Here are some tips to use:
- KB02843 What is the function of low memory manager on the BlackBerry smartphone
- KB14320 How to maximize space and power battery life on the BlackBerry smartphone
- KB14213 Call logs, SMS text and email messages are deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone
Finally, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. On the contrary, to close an application, tap on and select 'Close' or 'Quit'... which force the application to be closed, freeing resources for your new use it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... If we leave on a web page, it will not consume only additional resources, but the power of the battery as well.
In addition, each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy. Some have taken to do this on a regular basis as a preventive measure... some as often as once a day. Others got the app QuickPull to automate a simulated Batt Pull.
Good luck!

BlackBerry smartphone APP WORLD vs MEDIA CARD Coupla Questions...
So... I downloaded appworld and didn't get a few decent applications... works great... no probs at all...
Which leads to the question...
I have a 2 GB card inserted... and would like to know how to move some of the apps on the home screen
and to run them without any problem... and do it safely.
My phone memory decreases fast enough that I added new applications in of appworld.
~ and I deleted via the DM progs that I don't no need... or ever intend to use...
It would be great if I can move ALL the apps that I use on a memory card... I do not know that the phone would go very quickly then......
So... Is this possible?
And finally ~
I love my 9500 BBStorm far... he had since February... No probs, but I miss WLAN and Skype...
They will be available for the storm updates...? I was wondering...
Kind regards...
Mike
Hello!
On some devices/OS levels, enforcement and the memory of the device are combined into "free file"... This is, IMO, a little more difficult to administer that you can't see really how AppMemory you have. Nevertheless, here are some tips to use:
In addition, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. Rather, to close an application, press the BBKey and select 'Farm' or 'Quit'... that forces the application to be closed, freeing for your new use the resources it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... If we leave on a web page, it will not consume only additional resources, but the power of the battery as well.
Finally, there are some utilities available (including AppWorld) which will "store" apps on your SD card... but they never will 'run' from there. What do these utilities is to uninstall the application (sometimes called 'archive') of AppMemory and keep it stored elsewhere. When you want the application, it will be installed again to AppMemory from this location of archive and then deleted again when you are done with it. Awkward, but given the nature preserved the basic architecture of BB and AppMemory, it's the best possible currently.
Regarding WLAN and SKYPE - you will need to check with these developers to see what their plans are.
Hope that helps!
