  I need to install 2 x 5525 in a Cluster for firepower. We will use the most recent version of firepower and now I would like to know your recommendations for the more stable/better Version of the Cisco ASA software to use. We have no specific requirements for the featureset, the firewall itself will be the gateway for production networks and must protect the traffic to and from this network. No VPN will be used, no dynamic routing. The software should be a stable release, which is known to work very well with the firepower 6.0.1.

  I see in the documentation of the firepower 6.0.1 (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/601/relnotes/fir...) We need to at least: "running ASA version 9.4 (2), 9.5 (2) or 9.6 1.

  It would be great, if someone could share its recommendation on which software, I should go for. On a x 5506 in my lab I m currently using 9.5.2 and I didn t face no problems so far.

  Another question about the firepower upgrade process. As described in the manuals of firepower, initially the CMF must be updated, then the Module of firepower on the Cisco ASA follows. What is the best way to update the Module of firepower on the ASA to use FMC? What is the average recommenend? Or can I also place the firepower module Services in the CLI without losing its configuration?

  I checked the errors and confirmed that the error may occur if there is an object in the EO tables whose revision is exceeded. For this we need the help of the Cisco TAC to trace the problem to the engineering team and get a fix. You are not supposed to change whatever it considers either with arrays of EO. So be sure that you contact the Cisco TAC.

Are there concerns with some users continue to use the IPSEC cisco vpn client, while others migrate to the Anyconnect? I just want if make sure that when I update the license as there is not an immediate requirment to have all users go to Anyconnect immediately. Thank you!

  AnyConnect essentials affects any - IPSEC, but it will disable the portal without SSLVPN client and don't allow the anyconnect SSLVPN client.

  This will not affect your IPSEC remote access clients.

  I'm here tonight to find out, my laptop has touchpad buttons and quickplay and wondering if I should upgrade my pc to Windows 7 I was able to use all these features (more eco and pc health monitor utility).

  I ask this because currently my pc has, which is supposed to be a hard disk of 500 GB, 317 GB of available hard disk space, but I barely information or documents stored on my system. I understand I have programs installed, but still for this amount.

  So, long story short, if I had to remove and install the Windows 7 operating system, and I installed the toshibha value added utility programs package and eco, that would be all I need to dload and install because I love this pc.

  Also can anyone with a Toshiba Satellite A505-S6973 tell me if they can smell it the breeze coming out of their laptop because my fan seems to blow slowly and always higher, the temperature on my system is currently 90% and 64% CPU TEMPERATURE FAN SPEED and I HAV my system set up to use low power.

  I don't have a US mobile phone model and can't answer your second question, but I know with certainty that Win7 works well on the Satellite A500.
  Two months ago, I had the Satellite A500 friends home. Initially, it was pre-installed with Vista.
  I did two experiments to see how it works with Win7. First I updated it with the Toshiba upgrade kit and everything was OK.
  With the new installation of the OS, everything was OK also.

  Before Win7 installation please check Toshiba support page to make sure what version is fully supported. Here in Europe only Win7 64 bit is completely compatible.

  Have an ASA5585-S20-K9 and I need to get from 8.2 to 8.4.  Currently has 4 GB of memory, but it needs to be improved to a minimum of 8GB.   I searched high and low for a kit to upgrade for the 5585 but do not come with anything.  Found for the 5540 and below, but there must be something special about the 5585 s I can't find anything.

  If anyone has an idea on what I need to get to level set memory, it would be appreciated.

  According to usually at the documentation below, we can see that ASA 5585 comes with 12 GB of memory. Please see the 5585-s20 ASA data sheet below.

  Firstly, please note if you are running 8.2.x code on your ASA5585-s20. It seems that ASA 5585 SSP-20 will watch 4 GB of RAM which is expected for the 8.2 software with no support for 64-bit (so it cannot process more than 4 GB of RAM in the application of the ASA). If you switch to 8.4 example software, which supports 64-bit, all of the 12 GB of RAM will be used.

  Things to remember: -.

  Upgrade from 8.2 to 8.4 ASA, is NOT a minor update. There are a few things that are need to keep in mind:
  1. NAT statements are completely different.
  2. the IP addresses used in ACL are real IP (not translated)
  3. it is recommended that you take the time to stop for this upgrade.

  Things to do before the update: -.
  > Disable NAT control over the two ASA.
  > Check the memory required for the upgrade.
  > Take configure Backup.
  > Follow the upgrade path as mentioned below.

  Things to do after the update: -.
  > after reclassification of 8.2.x to 8.4.7, you must check the start config error.
  > present the startup-config errors, it will show that NAT and ACLs statement has not been
  migrated, so we can manually configure these instruction.
  > arp permit-nonconnected.
  > Of 8.4.7 9.1.4 or 9.1.5, you can migrate directly.

  Try to contact Toshiba s hotline in your country and ask for help. Maybe they can help you with that.

  you don't have to get windows 7; It's up to you whether you buy it or not

  and the upgrade of operating systems is different from the upgrade of the editions in a particular operation systyem

  and if you upgrading vista from one edition to another and the installed operating system vista had SP2 and upgrade does not, you uninstall SP2 upgrade then reinstall SP2
