  As Salamu Asalam are Atef,

  During the installation of weblogic server (WLS), home of Middleware is created.  My dough to this mistake, it's that you does not have the correct version of weblogic FIRST before installing the forms and reports. Then, u MUST specify THE SAME directory Middleware where wls is created after a successful installation.

• Calendar problem - forms 10g

  Hi all

  I have tried the calendar button feature. I have attached the calendar library then I filed under calendar of obl and wrote code behind the next button:

  Hope that you are well. I installed Oracle Developer Suite 10 g on Windows 7 successfully and that it works correctly.
  
  I created a new user with the following script:

  connect,
  create session,
  create the table,
  create view.
  create sequences,
  create a synonym,
  create database link,
  create the role
  Create the procedure
  to orcdesign;
  
  And then he GRANTS the following privileges:
  
  Grant execute on dbms_lock to orcdesign;
  Grant execute on dbms_pipe to orcdesign;
  Grant execute on dbms_rls to orcdesign;

  GRANT EXECUTE ON SYS.UTL_FILE TO orcdesign WITH GRANT OPTION;

  I have a report with a formula named CF_1.
  CF_1 contains the following code.

  Adeel pls check if you have any rating triggers server working on tables in your form. Most likely, the same elements that are updated in your forms are also managed in a trigger server side.

  1-one way to solve this problem is to define the update and insert properties of these elements NOT in your block if they are handled in the trigger.

  2 - pls check the DML property for the block.

  3. you can also check your form and triggers after you after insertion, POST-update, AFTER validation and see what happens

  4 - or you have the number of columns in your block with a precision higher than in the database.

  5 - you can write your own SQL insert, update or DELETE statement in the form, editing a column value TO the same table that you update using a block of base table of standard forms.

  6 or forms block on the basis of the opinions and property button Mode = auto, pls Mode Set = Unique key.

  This is the code for a FORM_TRIGGER_FAILURE exception inside the If identified block...

  because Form_Trigger_Failure is a non-Oracle exception.

  Solution:_ Pls use the following...

• Issue using UTL_MAIL. SEND_ATTACH_VARCHAR2

  I use UTL_MAIL. SEND_ATTACH_VARCHAR2 to send an email with an attachment.
  Problem is that when I use the file attachment then I con not Cholakov after email. I was set utl_file_dir but he is gives error ora-29280 "invalid directory ' and I have no where it attach the file, maybe join the file of (where am I run this form or a form file)"

  My created_date should be equal so and equal to 26 November 2009 and it must return 605 records
  
  now when I do it with the following method returning 31 lines
  
  where to_char (a.created, 'DD-MON-rr') > = 26 November 09 '
  
  But if I do it with this method its works perfectly fine...
  
  where to_date (a.created, 'DD-MON-rr') > = 26 November 09 '
  
  now I want to know why its not returning all records when I use the function to_char
