  When we try to add more values to the list via the import BCC option property, the old values are deleted and the new values are added. We need to have the old values and new values for the property.

  For example,.

  34345 product, sku 74747 is already mapped in the childSku. We try to add 74748,74749 Sku of as childsku via the import of the BCC option. The old value 74747 is replaced by 74748,74749.

  But the expectation is that we have all three references 74747,74748,74749 to map to 34345 product sku.

  Am a newbie to ATG. You have a question. Please read my understanding below and find my questions at the end correct me if my understanding is wrong as well.

  A typical active ATG staging will look like below (base level) according to my understanding so far in learning of the ATG.

  Asset Management Server - stores / manages the internal users (users BCC/CA/Merchandising/ACC), goods trade versioning & other repositories versioned

  Staging server - elements not versioned/no versioned trade and other repositories

  Production server - items not versioned/no versioned of trade & other repositories and users external stores/gΦre (customer)-"core schema.

  In this regard, external (customers) profiles are stored only in the production site.

  As the staging site is basically called replica of the production site, should the Store (customer facing) application that will be deployed to staging server as well? If so, how it will point production database schema?

  With this hand, I've also heard "preview feature/server? This is not staged? What is the difference?

  Your interpretation is correct.

  In the intermediate server ear request even the production is deployed. There will be a replica of the kernel, switcha/switchb as in production patterns.

  The preview server is identical to another instance of the BCC server, but it must not have little of the BCC module running.

  You can preview with - to the same BCC server or create a separate instance as BCC server to preview.

  To prevent duplicate on the sending of a form applications, you can use the RepeatingRequestMonitor, which is a very simple on the ATG box component, but quite effective.

  To use this component, you must create an object of names like RepeatingRequestMonitor and he's a poseur of getter in your form Manager.

  I use version 11.0 ATG, and I'm getting a few problems when attempting to create new coupons to the IAB.

  I am able to create promotions, but when click the Coupon to create a new, I get the following error:

  The problem is resolved. We tried to simply create a promotion (not inside a coupon), and after that, the coupon tab starts working correctly again.

  We do not know why this problem occurred, we know that the creation of coupons is from the ATG.

  Now we can access and create coupons correctly.

  To use the features of Oracle ATG Commerce of Web platform, a web application must start the kernel by calling NucleusServlet. This servlet does not need to be mapped to this path, but should have the load-on-startup flag value of 1 so it runs before any other part of Oracle ATG Web trade. The Web.XML in atg_bootstrap.war includes the following lines:

  The NucleusServlet creates an instance of the kernel and it defines as an attribute of the web application. The core instance can be retrieved using the Nucleus.getGlobalNucleus () method.

• ATG 10.2 problem with viewMapping news

  Hi all

  I created a new descriptor to point to the new repository, I had. To show this to the IAB, I created viewMapping new features, such as itemViewMappings and itemMappings with the correct attributes (includedCategories, resourceBundle,...).

  The first time I created, the tabs of the bcc for my article so well worked. So I had to remove the tongue and created again, but after that it never works more.

  When I run ViewMappingRepository the elements of creation, it creates / updates in the common sense, without any error. I see too much items to the CCA and the database.

  But in the CCI, it shows just the tab 'Properties' default with all fields, without any custom tab.

  I'm no errors in the server and I use the version 10.2 of the ATG.

  Any suggestion to solve this problem?

  I solved the problem. It was the name of itemMapping, I didn't know that there should always be AssetManager.

  I was using a different name, and that was the problem. I just changed to AssetManager and it works well.

  Session lifecycle is managed entirely by the application server manages things like generating a unique session id, creation of the session, its invalidation, it switches etc. When we talk about the ATG sessions, we are actually talking about a wrapper around the session of underlying app server that acts as a root for all session scoped in ATG. ATG, all kernel components live in a tree hierarchy and root for all components of session scope is located in the: / atg/dynamo/servlet/sessiontracking/GenericSessionManager // where is generated by the application server.

  Usually, there are several web apps in the EAR of the assembled ATG, which should be regarded as the parent web - app parent means that sessionId of this web application will serve as the basis for the creation of the root scope session kernel. OOTB, the DafEar\base\j2ee-components\atg-bootstrap.war is the parent application with a /dyn context root. And what generally, we define the atg.session.parentContextName and atg.dafear.bootstrapContextName parameters in the Web.XML of our web apps to point to the web - app as a parent:

  ATG also has a SessionBindingReporter object that implements the interface javax.servlet.http.HttpSessionBindingListener. It is added to each session web application as an attribute. This feature can be toggeled through the mergeOrders property in CommerceProfileTools.

  Now these incomplete orders which have not been verified by visitors and have rather inactive for a period of time becomes abandoned order. Abandoned OrderService module includes tools and services that allow you to detect, respond to and report on abandoned orders. So that you can better understand what types of orders from your customers is to abandon, but also what scenarios/campaigns effectively encourage them to get back them and to complete resulting in the increase of the conversion order and revenue.   Please suggest a few solutions for the scenario below.
  
  I have some components (say * "Component A and component B" *) developed within a module of the ATG (say * "Module A" *). I want to separate these components and create a separate ear/war. Which I can deploy independently.
  
  But the components A and B is reffering other components in this module. In this case, which will be the best solution to go forward.
  
  
  My goal is to separate the components developed for specific features and by deploying separately as an independent module.

  When you define ATG-required: CommonModule then all resources defined in CommmonModule MANIFEST. MF file will be available to your module.
  So all the classes defined in CommonModule that is defined in the CommonModule ATG-ClassPath are available for your module.

  QuincyFunds is a demo application not trade featuring customization. If you check the manifest file of the module you'll see ATG-required only DSS module and catalog will not come in picture when running it anywhere.

  You need to install an application of trade with CA to see the product catalog and Merchandising of the BCC. You can try the reference for the ATG (CRS) trade store.

  As I mentioned already, ATG offers a few features CMS and features like content management, workflow creation, deployment, etc. To manage your content within the ATG, you may need to extend the repositories by default ATG for profile, catalogue etc. and might also need to define new repositories so that you can work on all of the content in the form of assets of repository in the ATG. If you have defined different repositories for your content in the ATG and imported all data related to the content of these repositories ATG, then you can continue with ATG CMS. But when you need data on original content again once, you will want to use a CMS full outside the ATG to generate.

• ATG sticky session with Apache web server

  Hi all. I use webservices module ATG remains on my local system. I send applications via the web browser that goes through Apache and typing the ATG application server. The problem is that, while on our test environments, several subsequent applications maintain the same session on my local system, each application comes with a new session id. This causes problems to test things locally that need to have a sticky session. I use poster (firefox plugin) and after the first request, I capture the cookie (esessionId in the response) and add this header cookie in subsequent applications, but the answers still have a different esessionId cookie value.
  
  Can someone explain how the session (with the help of cookies) tracking work between Apache and ATG? I know that there is a way to allow Apache to know what cookie to take to activate the sticky session but I do not know how to configure it.

  If you add the url session ID and always get different sessions, it means in your application server accepts session cookies from.
  SessionId in url is limited.

  When you configure apache with the plugin application server, he built in sticky session feature enabled.
  I guess the question could be the cookie in the request is not sessionid or each request is get presented as new request by the plug-in.

• Cannot use the search feature on the App Store

  I have a problem with the search feature in the App Store. This problem only occurs when connected with my Apple ID, everything in the App Store itself works very well. Only when it comes to the search I get an error "the App Store is temporarily unavailable. Try again later. I tried all methods I found online and on Apple's site, including: restarting the unit, check the time and date, iOS is updated, various wireless as well as the 4 G network, signing in and out of the account and App Store refresh method. Unfortunately, nothing has worked so far.
