ATG point product catalog search sql query
HelloWe installed ATG and implemented the reference commerece store pre-built with ATG10.0.3.
We have a catalog put in place for the store of reference gossip. I'm still not able to find how can I query the data through SQL for this catalog. I don't have class JSP/JAVA bring the results to display.
I wonder if someone can help out me by listing the names of key table that contains information about the catalog, category, product and item (skus).
Thanks for your help.
techie_ns.
Check the schema that you run the query, you would have given user name and password in the configuration DB, use the same.
See you soon

The search syntax of SQL query against the data type varchar2 preserving valid data.
Have a data model that we are not allowed to change and the column in question is a varchar2 (20). The column has at this stage no foreign key to the list of valid values. So, until we can get those who control the data model in order to make the adjustments we need for a SQL query that root out us bad data on the hours fixed.
Is what we expect to be good data below:
-Whole number, without floating point
-Length of 5 or less (greater than zero but less than 99999)
-Text "No_RP" can exist.
Request demo below works most of the time with the exception of 'or Column1 is null' is not contagious in the null record. I tried to change the logical terms around, but did not understand the correct layout still provide it. So help would be greatly appreciated it someone could put me straight on how to properly register a null value in the recordset that has been selected with other types of error for end users to correct their mistakes. Another thing, I suppose there could be a better approach syntactically to a call find all offender characters such as *, &, (and so on.)
WITH Sample_Data AS (SELECT '0' collar OF DOUBLE UNION ALL)
SELECT "2" collar OF DOUBLE UNION ALL
SELECT "99999" col OF DOUBLE UNION ALL
SELECT "100000" col OF DOUBLE UNION ALL
SELECT '1 a' collar OF DOUBLE UNION ALL
SELECT the "ABCD" OF DOUBLE UNION ALL pass
SELECT 'A1' collar OF DOUBLE UNION ALL

SELECT ' @' collar OF DOUBLE UNION ALL
SELECT '!' collar OF DOUBLE UNION ALL
SELECT ' ~' collar OF DOUBLE UNION ALL
SELECT "' collar OF DOUBLE UNION ALL

)
SELECT col from Sample_data
WHERE (translate (col, '_0123456789', '_') is not null
or length (col) > 5
col = 0 or
or col is null)
and (upper (col) <>'NO_RP');
One more thing, I also took the approach of the regular expression, but he could not understand. If anyone knows how to do with this approach, I would also appreciate learning this method as well. Below is a close because I had. Impossible to get a range to work as "between 0 and 100000", guessing because of the comparison of varchar2 and # even attempted using to_char and to_number.
Select to_number (column1) from the testsql where REGEXP_LIKE (column1, ' ^ [[: digit:]] + $') ORDER BY to_number (column1) CSA;
Thanks in advance for anyone to help.
NickHello
Thanks for posting the sample data in a useable form.
It would be useful that you also posted the accurate results you wanted from this data. You want the same results as those produced by the query you posted, except that nulls should be included? If so:SELECT col FROM sample_data WHERE CASE WHEN UPPER (col) = 'NO_RP' THEN 1 WHEN col IS NULL THEN -1 WHEN LTRIM (col, '0123456789') IS NOT NULL THEN -2 WHEN LENGTH (col) > 5 THEN -3 ELSE TO_NUMBER (col) END NOT BETWEEN 1 AND 99999 ;
The requirement that pass! = 0 gives that much more difficult. You could test easily for an integer from 1 to 5 digits, but then you must have a separate condition to make sure that the chain was not '0', '00', '000', ' 0000 'or ' 00000'.
(Unlike Solomon, I guess that do not want to choose no-0 numbers starting by 0, such as ' 007 'or ' 02138'.)Using regular expressions, you may lose a few keystrokes, but you also lose a lot of clarity:
SELECT col FROM sample_data WHERE REGEXP_LIKE ( col , '^0{1,5}$' ) OR NOT REGEXP_LIKE ( NVL ( UPPER (col) , 'BAD' ) , '^(([1-9][0-9]{0,4})|NO_RP)$' ) ;

Components catalog SQL query and caching
Hello
It seems that SQL query result sets components catalog caching and go to the DB only after restarting the engine. Is it possible to disable this caching and force SQL queries to run each time?
Thank you.
Nick.Hi Nick,
Take a look at the log file of your engine. To execute SQL queries when running logic. See if you get any 'error', 'Serious' or 'Warning' engine log messages when you run your query.
Hope this helps,

Failed to parse the SQL query by user
Hi all
in my application, I have a piece of text with a button "submit". In this article, I type a name and a report after the element region show me the result (s). This works for all my users (> 2000) perfectly, but that users become an error in the area of the report:
Failed to parse the SQL query:
ORA-01403: no data found
We try this with the same searchstring on the same computer/browser. If I connected the result is ok, if the logged on user, the error message appears. If I try this on the user's computer with me connected, ok result. If the user try this on another pc, error results.
I have a production and a developer workspace. In the developer workspace the user can try this perfectly without errors. That in the space of productive work, clear the error.
The SQL-Select in the ist verry simple reprirt:
Select id
name
raum
table
where instr (upper (name), upper (:P60_SEARCH)) > 0
However, all users can use this search box with report perfectly, only this one user has the error. There is no restrictions on this point or a State.
Can someone help me?Hi Carsten,
I don't think that there is a way to do it.
Could you please mark the correct and useful answers in this thread? Otherwise I'll never get near Andy ;) :)

Clarification of the SQL query in 2 day + Guide APEX
I worked through the Oracle Database Express Edition 2 day + Application Express Developer's Guide, and try to decipher the SQL query in Chapter 4 (building your app).
The code is:
SELECT d.DEPARTMENT_ID,
d.DEPARTMENT_NAME,
(select count (*) from oehr_employees where department_id = d.department_id)
"Number of employees", he said.
substr (e.first_name, 1, 1) |'. ' || Select 'Name Manager',
c.COUNTRY_NAME 'place '.
OEHR_DEPARTMENTS d,
E OEHR_EMPLOYEES
OEHR_LOCATIONS l,
C OEHR_COUNTRIES
WHERE d.LOCATION_ID = l.LOCATION_ID
AND l.COUNTRY_ID = c.COUNTRY_ID
AND e.department_id = d.DEPARTMENT_ID
AND d.manager_id = e.employee_id
AND instr (superior (d.department_name), superior (nvl (:P2_REPORT_SEARCH,d.department_name))) > 0)
I don't know exactly what is happening in the last line. I think I understand what the different functions but I'm not clear on the use of the: P2_REPORT_SEARCH string.
What does this string? This code simply checking that d.department_name isn't NA?
I have SQL experience but am not very familiar with the Oracle PL/SQL implementation. Can someone please give me a brief breakdown that check is doing in the context of the overall query? The application seems to work even if the conditional statement is not included.
Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. I apologize if the information I added was incomplete. The code came from the day 2 + Application Express (version 4.2) Developer Guide.
In the section 'your own Application of 4 Buuilding' https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37097_01/doc.42/e35122/build_app.htm#TDPAX04000 , they describe the creation of a report
page that includes the "manager_id" and 'location_id '. The SQL query, I pasted above extracted from the data in other tables to substitute the real 'name of the Manager' and 'rent '.
for the corresponding ID values. It makes sense, and the part of the SQL query that explicitly doing this makes sense.
However, given that the document is a guide for the development of the APEX, I guess the command:
AND instr (upper (d.department_name), upper (nvl (:P2_REPORT_SEARCH,d.department_name))) > 0
done something valuable, and I do not recognize what is exactly the value.
From a practical point of view why would I need to include this conditional statement? Which only added to the application?
Looking at the guide in question, it is clear that the
AND instr(upper(d.department_name),upper(nvl(:P2_REPORT_SEARCH,d.department_name)))>0
the line is completely unnecessary in the context of this tutorial, and it can be removed. The search in the tutorial app page is implemented by using a report filter interactive rather than a P2_REPORT_SEARCH element, which does not seem to exist at all. (It's a quirk of the APEX that bind variable references to non-existent items are replaced with NULL silently rather than exceptions). I thought that perhaps it would be legacy code a version of the tutorial prior to the introduction of interactive reports at the APEX 3.1, but I can't find explicit instructions to create such an element of filter in the 3.0 tutorial. I guess it must have been automatically generated by the application wizard when you create a standard report page.
If you do not want to see the effect he would have (as described in the post above), leave it in the source report, add a text element of P2_REPORT_SEARCH, and a button "submit" on page 2 and experimenting to find different values of the element and clicking on the submit button...

INSERT INTO TABLE_1 (A_ITEM_ID, B_ITEM_ID, DESCRIPTION) VALUES (5, 1, ' Description point 5');

The scenario is, there are three tables - ITEM_1, ITEM_GRP, TABLE_1. The order of the DAY is the main table for all items.
SELECT * FROM TABLE_1 where B_ITEM_ID = 1;
DESCRIPTION OF B_ITEM_ID A_ITEM_ID
---------- ---------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2 1 description point 2
3 1 description of the point 3
4 1 description of the point 4
5 1 description of point 5
Now the query I try to write should return 1 (or count (*) = 1) if
-TABLE_1.A_ITEM_ID = ITEM_GRP. ITEM_ID and have > 1
In this case, the assigned action returned 4 rows and even if there is a match with A_ITEM_ID = 2 which exist on ITEM_GRP twice, he was no match for other A_ITEM_ID in the ITEM_GRP table. If the query should return 0 or null.
Here is what I started with.
SELECT * FROM ITEM_GRP IG, M TABLE_1
WHERE IG. ITEM_ID (+) = M.A_ITEM_ID
AND M.B_ITEM_ID = 1
- AND IG. ITEM_ID IS NULL
- AND EXISTS (SELECT 1 FROM ITEM_GRP WHERE ITEM_ID = IG. ITEM_ID HAVING COUNT (*) > 1)

END AS all_2

LEFT OUTER JOIN item_grp ON ig.item_id = t1.a_item_id GI

The outer join will ensure that all values of table_1.a_item_id are selected.
COUNT (item_grp.item_id) will indicate the number of lines corresponding to each value of a_item_id. Since it is an outer join, this number may be 0.

MySQL to print the product catalog
Hello
Rob might know the answer to this one.
Background:
I have a product web site PHP & MySQL. The owner wishes to automate the production of a product catalog printed (about 600 records) MySQL database. I can't query SQL and php to output in HTML format without problem. But the owner would print something more elegant.
Newbie questions:
How to port MySQL disks in InDesign? Or do I convert MySQL XML first?
What is the procedure? How transparent is it?
What are the pitfalls I should know about?
Is there any detailed tutorials on how to do it?
Thank you
Nancy O.
I've experimented with MySQL export to TCPDF. It is pretty easy to do, but the results do not have poles. I wasn't able to get the text to expand around images or control where pages broke. Maybe it was my lack of experience with TCPDF. It seems to be very powerful, but the documentation is the nest of a rat.
MySQL export in XML format is very simple. The InDesign help documentation has many details on how to import XML and map tags to styles; Import XML in InDesign. The advantage of InDesign, it's that you get really good control over the way in which the final document is laid out. Caveat: I have not used to import XML, and I did not use InDesign for several years. But I have used old versions for many years to create a post of page-100-plus for the Japanese company in the United Kingdom. I found that working with InDesign is pretty simple. I hope it's always.

Hi Ravinder
For updates of product catalog, you must run
DELETE srch_update_queue WHERE item_desc_name = "sku" OR item_desc_name = "product".
compared to the Production schema.

DA on updatable report items Sql query using the class
Request Express 4.2.5.00.08
10-11 g Oracle
I have a page, so it has a link/button when he clicks then modal region will appear. Modal region has a as a table (Type SQL Query (updateable report)). All work very well so far.
However, I've now added some complex things.
for example. My region is based on the query of SQL Type (editable report).
SELECT id, name of family, Traghetti, area, d_date, start_time, End_time, displacement, role of table where id =: P10_ID;
I can also add a new line of course.
My problem is, (point) Shift display based on the value of Start_Time point) and so I made sure the class for two items.
for example, Start_Time (' class = "st_tm" ') and Maj ('class to = "Shift_time" '). Start_Time is based on (LOV) and shift is off the point in the sql query, but change the Start_Time.
And now, I created the DA.
1. event: change
Selection type: jQuery Selector
jQuery Selector: .st_tm
Condition: No.
1. action: set value
Set type: Expression Javascript
The JavaScript Expression: $(this.triggeringElement) .val ();
The element affected: P10_X1 (it is a hidden item)
2. action: Plsql Code
Code: start to null; end;
Page items to submit: P10_X1
3. action: Plsql Code
Code: start
If: P10_X1 between '03' AND '11' then
: P10_X1: = 'EARLIES ';
elsif: P10_X1 then '12' and '18'
: P10_X1: = 'LATES ';
on the other
: P10_X1: = 'NIGHTS';
end if;
end;
Page items to submit: P10_X1
NOW another DA
Event: change
Article (s) P10_X1
Condition (in list)
value (HASTY, LATES, NIGHTS)
Action:
Set type: Expression Javascript
The JavaScript Expression: $(this.triggeringElement) .val ();
Affected item:
Selection type: jQuery Selector
jQuery Selector:. Shift_time
Well, I look forward all the above work well, but I'm having a problem.
If I have more than 1 lines on a modal region and if I change the Start_Time value for a row then MAJ (point) is changing but he effect on all lines.
I want, if I make the changes on the line line # 2 while only 2 # MAJ (point) must be not performed any other lines?
Help, please!
Kind regards
RI
I found the solution me thank you.
I removed all the DA mentioned above and created a new.
1. event: change
Selection type: jQuery Selector
jQuery Selector: .st_tm
Condition: No.
Scope of the event: dynamic and light on page load.
Action (Javascript code)
ROW_ID = $(this.triggeringElement).attr('id').substr (4);
If ($(this.triggeringElement). val() > = 03 &. val() $(this.triggeringElement))<= 11)="">=>
.Val ('EARLIES') $(«#f11_» + row_id);
}
ElseIf ($(this.triggeringElement). > 11 val() & $(this.triggeringElement). val())<= 18)="">=>
.Val ('LATES') $(«#f11_» + row_id);
}
ElseIf (. val() > $19 (this.triggeringElement)) {}
.Val ('NIGHTS') $(«#f11_» + row_id);
}
also created another DA because I have a disabled report items.
Event: before the page is sent.
$('_:_disabled').removeAttr ("disabled");
and finally created manual process of DML for tabular and everything works fine. (Insert, Update, and delete).
Kind regards.

Feature of the parallel execution of SQL query
Hello guys,.
I installed a 11 GR 2 Oracle RAC (11.2.0.3) database, but I see the use of the feature of running parallel SQL queries, but I never used that.
I would like to know if this feature is enabled by default on CCR environments and if it does not require me to pay for Enterprise Edition.

You are not, but Oracle is, since you are using RAC. Oracle relies on execution in parallel against the gv$ views so even if you can't use it in SE way common Oracle can when it comes to query against one of the points of view gv$. That's why DBA_FEATURE_USAGE_STATISTICS reports that you see.

Table error ' can not analyze the SQL query!
Hi all
I created a view on my database called VIEW_MEMBER_PARTIC_PROJECTS
If I run a query showing the results of the view:
SELECT * FROM VIEW_MEMBER_PARTIC_PROJECTS
I get the following data
Projects Participants 1 31 S 2 41 3 19 4 3 5 3 6 1 7 2 Now, I wanted to represent this diagram in the APEX so I created a graphic region and entered the Source query generator and the manufacturer produces the following code
Select null, label projects, value1 Participant link
of "SCHEMANAME." "" VIEW_MEMBER_PARTIC_PROJECTS ".
With this code, I get an error:
Cannot parse the SQL query!
Select the link null, label projects, value1 "SCHEMANAME Participant." "" VIEW_MEMBER_PARTIC_PROJECTS ".
Some queries can be run when you run your application, if your query is syntactically correct, you can save your query without validation (see options below the source of the query).
The code looks OK, but I do not see to save options as the error code is mentioned.
No one knows how to fix this?
Thank you
JaReg wrote:
I finally found the problem.
I looked at the code for the view and changed the start of:
CREATE OR REPLACE FORCE EDITIONABLE VIEW "SCHEMANAME." "" VIEW_MEMBER_PARTIC_PROJECTS "("Participant","Projects")
AS
TO
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW "SCHEMANAME." "" VIEW_REPEAT_PARATIC ".
AS
And that seemed to fix it. I'm not entirely sure why though.
The view was created using the quoted identifiers for column names. This makes them sensitive and means that they must always be referenced using double quotes. In the absence of quotation marks, Oracle is not case insensitive and automatically converts all uppercase identifiers. The application of graph:
Select the link null, label projects, value1 "SCHEMANAME Participant." "" VIEW_MEMBER_PARTIC_PROJECTS ".
has therefore been interpreted by Oracle:
SELECT THE LINK NULL, LABEL, VALUE1 "SCHEMANAME PARTICIPANT PROJECTS." "" VIEW_MEMBER_PARTIC_PROJECTS ".
and PROJECTS and PARTICIPANT columns were not recognized because the columns defined for the view have been 'Participant' and 'projects '. The graphic request should have been:
Select the link null, the label of "Projects", "Participant" value1 "SCHEMANAME." "" VIEW_MEMBER_PARTIC_PROJECTS ".
As you have now discovered, quoted identifiers are a source of nothing but obscure bugs and should never be used for database objects. He also pointed out the reason why you should always use a standardized, form tiny, coding style as it is faster to type, easy to read and less prone to errors.

SQL query to represent the data in the graph bar
Hello
JDev 11.1.1.5.0
We must create a dashboard to track the translation. We have created the ADF table with buttons 'Create', 'Update' and 'Delete' to manipulate the table.
Our DB table structure is
File_id (PK), File_Name, ToSpanish - ARE (YES/NO), beginning of the ToSpanish, ToChina(YES/No), ToChina-Date... etc.
Once the translated file required language then user must update the DB table using the button "Update".
So far, we have implemented the requirement above.
We need represent the status of the translation in the graph bar with the language as X access and file count get access Ex: Spanish-100 China - 200 files files
Please suggest the sql query to retrieve the necessary info from the DB table that can be represented in the graph bar. Also, it would be great, if you can provide a pointers to create a bar chart.
Thanks in advance,
MSR.
If you set your major increment and minor than 1, then you won't not show decimal points. You can try setting these 10 or 100 to reach your goal.

performance issue with the Oracle SQL query
Dears
Good evening
I am new to begin to use Oracle SQL, I have a sql query which takes longer to run in production.
Each table in the query contains 1.2 million records and DBA suggested using the "Oracle - tips. I don't have good knowledge on this subject and the difficulties to implement this advice for imrpovise performance. In the product the jobs Informatica are failed and stuck with this problem of query performance.
I ask this forum for an emergency for me to solve this problem by using "advice". kindly help me.
