  Help, please.  I shoot football games on a Canon XF300.  Recently, I imported the MXF files in Premiere Pro (CC) 2015 (all updated after November 23, 2015) and some of the length of the support files won't display, as if the first show that 15% of the length of the MXF file from the beginning of the video.  I opened the MXF file using Quicktime player and VLC player... it works very well, the length, but not in first or Adobe Media Encoder.  I have imported the MXF, through the media browser files and double click on the create project window, still cut the duration of media.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thank you. -Paul

  

  Hi Paul,.

  It might be because of some issue of permission with the drive where the media is stored.

  Close all Adobe applications running.

  Rename the Source folder where the media is saved and then try to re-importation of Media Browser.

  Check if it's still the same.

  You may not and you'll never be able to open your raw Canon directly files in CS5.

  This camera was supported for the first time 8.3 of ACR, which requires at least Photoshop CC to run.

  You either subscribe to Photoshop CC (CC) on a monthly basis, or you use the free support only to convert each batch of this camera model Canon raw files to convert them to DNG raw that you can then open in CS5.

  2008 mac Pro, just upgraded to the Mavericks. We use Canon XF 300 s that create MXF video files. When they are imported into first CC, different files have the first video on playback and I can not change the rest of the clips because they are all the first clip. The reading of the original files normally when you use VLC Player. I have the same question on all the machines of Mavericks, we have but not the machines that are still on Lion 10.7, the MXF files work fine. Is there a solution from Adobe, or is it a matter of Mavericks?

  You know what, I think I just solved her problem. Using the media browser, I was able to import a MXF file, because it combines all of the individual clips in a clip.

  Hi all, I'm new on the side of the entire video editing and so would be grateful for the help.

  I just bought a camcorder Canon HF200 HD, and a Sony Vaio notebook that came with Premiere Elements 7.0 preinstalled.

  Last month I've been shooting sequences and down just to try to change everything and set up a DVD.

  The problem I have right now (and I've just started using the program, so everything is new for me) is that while I seem to be able to import the m2ts file format in which my camera records, only the video is imported by first - no audio (it reads the file ok, no errors appear, but when I go to review images there is video but no sound).

  I can play all my videos in Windows Media Player very well, both video and audio.  So it seems that my machine is able to read the files correctly in this program.  However, it seems that the audio drop out when I import the file in first.  The program was pre-installed on my computer and when I have a look at the audio settings, it doesn't seem to be a possibility to change the settings to something different.

  So far, I've spent a long time googling and trying to find a solution, but without any joy immediately.

  Enjoy the anyone can offer any assistance.  Is it just a simple setting I need to change?  Or I have to somehow convert the files in a different format before Elements 7.0 can read?

  the machine I have appear to be consistent with the specifications required by PE7 (and given that it came with pre-installed PE7 which should be the case).

  There are two things to consider:

  1.) edition of most of the images, especially material to SD

  2.) editing AVCHD, currently the most demanding of all popular video formats to edit. That's what you have.

  Now when you launch the pre, you get a splash screen. There you can open new create a new project, open an existing project that has been recently opened, or open a project by browsing to it. We can also leave.

  In your case, you go again and when the dialog box opens, choose the preset for AVCHD w / DD 5.1 SS Audio.

  Also note, that in the Edit Mode, there are two Modes of display (access via two icons to the left of the lower panel), view timeline and sceneline view. For DD 5.1 SS Audio Clips, you will find Timeline View Mode to be the best. Now, you can switch back, but the timeline view Mode will give you infinite control. It is estimated that change the most programs use, and most publishers use.

  I import MXF (from C300) files that should have two audio channels separated from two different microphones. (When these files are opened in Final Cut you can see two audio channels to separate). Agency CC 2015 it shows me only one audio channel. When I go to "Edit"->"audio" window I see no way in there to expose the second audio channel. How do I do that?

  Photoshop CS5 to read files from Nikon D750 to atleast Camera Raw 8.7 or higher.

  However, I believe that you would not be able to update Camera Raw, so you can download and install the DNG Converter and convert the files to DNG.

• Organizer of the 10 items - no audio AND no thumbnails on the AVCHD files

  Hi all

  I'm running Elements Organizer 10 and I see a strange behavior in that, since the upgrade to 10 (of 9)

  -None of my .mts files will play all the sounds in the multimedia browser Viewer and

  -new files .mts my imported in the catalog have no thumbnails

  The files have thumbnails in Windows Explorer.

  I can play the files with sound, using VLC and Windows Media Player.

  Import the files into the Organizer 9 generated thumbnails and audio playback.

  First Elements 10 generates thumbnails of clip and plays audio successfully, too.

  So - it seems to be something very specific to version 10 and the Organizer - computer-not-wide.

  I noticed that playback in Media Viewer browser called the Haali Media Splitter, I installed on my machine.  Thinking that maybe the wrong codec, I uninstalled it.

  I could still play in VLC and WMP, but double clicking in the menu Organizer gave an error message that no appropriate codec has been installed.

  So, I installed ffdshow to see if this avc codec might be used, still no luck.

  Reinstalled latest version of Haali, back to the same behavior (no sound, no thumbnails) in Organizer - everything works fine.

  So, I can work by dragging clips to Organizer on VLC so I can play the video with sound while tagging, but I fear that it does not and that whatever the basic problem will manifest more seriously thereafter.

  Any ideas?

  I use a canon XF100 and first pro CS5 on a Mac Pro.

  I would like to know the best workflow, so I can get pictures from the camera, at first, so I can start editing.

  My attempts so far:

  1 import the MXF file directly in the first

  Result: When a visitor the clip on the timeline, the audio only appears

  2 using the XCam transfer to import images and convert to .mov

  Result: The audio and video appear on the time line, but the audio is shorter than the video skips and jumps

  Your advice and patience is greatly appreciated.

  Canon mxf files import is not broken in 2015.

  Copy the entire hard disk map and place the folder CONTENT in a folder of its own video for example.

  Then import it via Media Browser.

  Or use the XF utility to export mxf files so unique.

• Why the compressor cannot read standard JPEG 2000 MXF files?

  Compressor will open the mxf files, but it will not show the video of the JPEG-2000 standard encoded media.

  This is the de-facto standard for the format of broadcasting / digital cinema.

  In addition, I don't see that 'no compressed' under codec for export MXF.

  Without support JPEG2000 MXF is like a laptop without a keyboard.

  Am I missing something?

  You are right that JPEG 2000 MXF is not supported in the compressor. If not compressed is your only option encoding MXF, download the latest versionPro video Formats here.

  I believe that adobe Media Encoder can be able to open and exit JPEG 2000 MXF. Original of the episode (Telestream) product site indicates that they just added support JPEG 2000. If you don't have either your system, you could test it on trial versions.  BOT sure what other alternatives are available. Maybe someone else here sounds.

  My camera (Sony FS5) can save UHD 4 k files and mp4 proxies at the same time. Now, I want to use the MP4 files for editing so I save use as XAVC-L uses much CPU.

  How can I say FCPX to reconnect the Proxy to the MXFs files? I get an error they are incompatible.

  Someone know thing, maybe tweak the metadata or force FCPX in question?

  You now use the mp4 to edit Proxy or the XAVC-L?

  Because if you use XAVC-L, you can always build your own proxy in FCPX.

  Sometimes, I get that too get an error indicating that the files are not compatible, so for the most part I wait until the lock picture, back and forth at will and bind them to the higher res files.

  Go to Options > Applications tab > MPEG Layer 3 audio(audio/mpeg) image search > use the "Save file" option on the menu drop down.

  I tried all different things:

  -Only import via the media browser

  -Import the whol structure files from Sony

  -Capture the media with a USB cable (didn't work either)

  I work with OS X Yosemite and all Adobe updates are performed.

  Can anyone help? I couldn't find any other ideas.

  See this forum post: CS6 and XAVC

  This format is not supported in Premiere Pro CS6. Either you need to transcode your media or update for first Pro CC, or later.
