  Thanks for posting. Do you get this error when starting Internet Explorer or some other place? Also, you said that the last resort was to recharge. Reload you the entire operating system already? Regarding the DLL error that you've published, please follow the article below the link if this problem is when you start Internet Explorer.

• ThinkVantage SU 3 will suddenly show a new message: ctor.dll not found

  during the last 2 times of my system updates, that a message has arrived, that "ctor.dll" rundll not found. It is a new issue (?)

  It seems, ThinkVantage search paths of file named English only! ??

  ctor.dll is on my system, and is the path in German

  C:\Programme\Gemeinsame Dateien\Installshield\Professional\RunTime\10\00\Intel32\ctor.dll

  What's not now?

  Latest version of Win XP on T61 and all the latest updates are installed...

  The message was produced during the update of the audio features by ThinkVantage. This task did not run correctly!

  (It seems that TV has an error uninstalling the old version due to use of wrong path (English) names to uninstall exe / dll...?)

  Solution by myself:

  1 uninstall the Audio features manually (via system > software > Soundmax > uninstall)

  2 reboot

  3 - install using TV...

  now it works and no more messages were posted... :-))

  If you have a problem dl'g, you don't follow all 7 steps.  the most common mistake is not meticulously follow the steps 1, 2, and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system, allowing you to download the correct version of the adobe.com site).

  MSVCP90.dll errors might indicate a problem of registry, a virus or malware problem, or even a hardware failure.
   
  Scan the checker (SFC) system files on your computer and check if it helps fix the problem.
   

  SFC analyzes and verifies the versions of all protected system files after you restart your computer.
