  By design, automate to sequence will target the lower video and audio tracks available. You could block the tracks that you don't want to automate in. for example: If you want to automate Track3, you would lock the titles 1 & 2. I hope this helps.

  Hi Noel,

  One of the first things I do after installing Captivate is: open the preferences, by default. In the list of default object I will select each object (Image is there as well) and its passage without Transition value. If you do this before you open any project, this will apply to all your future projects. I hate these transitions and have asked for a long time to get rid of them as default. BTW, while you are in the Setup, apply also to the project, beginning and end and (maybe) turn off the Fade in and Fade out there for the project start and end as well.

  • Using AppleScript
  • Ensuring that all applications can use these passwords in the keychain without asking confirmation

  All these work the drive is mounted, but regardless of whether the name of user and password in the connection string or not and ensure that registration is set to password in the keychain, each time, I get a pop up asking for the name of user and password. It's always busy and all I have to do is click on the connect button, but it does not help on an unattended computer restarts every day.

  roadblocks.  I do videos sermon each week and I want a menu, title, video of sermon slide, then a post roll - with transitions between each step.  I thought that I could do each step and save as an asset, but I tried to save the race and could not operate.  When I recorded it, assets were just a video file.  When I imported the file, the video showed the words as either miniture size or big words were off the screen on the left and the right.  BTW, I tried to save in different formats (AVI, MPG, etc) all with the same results - either too small or too large.  I'm going about this all wrong or I have to go through the process, whenever I do a new video?

  It sounds as if you want to create a 'model', which will use common elements for the project. Each production will contain these common elements and then incorporate unique assets, mainly in the middle. Is this correct?

  As you do so, then creation and video editing, you'll need a 'model' for the workflow editing part, then one for the authoring part of the workflow.

  Both are easy to do, with a bit of planning.

  For the part of video editing, I would create a project with the Intro and the Outro, IE the 'post roll.' I just Save_As and store Copies of "maintaining security". Each sermon, you would open this project template, Import the might of unique images and then create a Save_As naming by date, or a subject of the sermon. Do not make a backup, or you will have changed your model, it's why the Copies, in case save you more.

  Now, again, to expand your project, make your bins/folders and create your vertical (can be changed by each sermon, as needed), import all the Commons and then save it again to be used. Make Copies.

  Once ready, PrPro, just export your Timeline in DV - AVI Type II format, to be imported into the project of model yet. Once done, do a Save_As, to ensure the safety of your model. Make changes to your Menu, the link and then get a glimpse. So fine, burn to disc.

  I've done similar to a series of 17 DVDs and only had to import the unique strengths, make the Menu changes to account for this part of the whole project. It worked perfectly.
