  The fastest way is to make a shortcut in start all startup programs. There is also another way. You create a new entry in the Microsoft Registry editor, but it's more complicated.

  Sorry, there is no setting for it. You must manually start the apps.

  There is no way to stop an application to be started automatically.  However, your application could determine if it needs to run its start-up operations or not.  You can store a persistent value that the application check at startup.  If true, it performs its start-up operations, if set to false, he couldn't do anything and go out.

  We feel goldengate setup 11.2.0.1.17 between oracle rac db versions 11.2.0.4 on Linux platform.

  We try to action script configuration via ggsapp to start/stop service automatically all processes.

  We had met these 2 settings, but had concerns.

  As mentioned in the footnote GG, AUTOSTART parameter to start one or more extract and Replicat automatically treats to start Manager.

  AUTORESTARTparameter to start the process of one or more extract and Replicat be restarted by Manager after a failure

  During the test, I had stopped one of extract manually and it did not come automatically. This seems to fix it for me

  as autostart will take effect only when the Boot Manager and automatic restart will only work when the process gets failed.

  There is no setting that can reveal the process automatically if its stopped manually except some shell script with a code.

  Please correct me.

  Also there will be any impact to any situation if we add autostart in mgr.prm

  Yes, you are quite correct.

  AUTOSTART - to start the process once the process of the Boot Manager. You don't want to start each process individually once after the start of the process manager.

  Then, you must do this in another file.

  Or if you want to keep the functions of modular script and start them from a main script with doScript() or the include statement pointing to script files somewhere on the system of file/folder of your machine.

  There are many scenarios. As always: it will depend on ;-)
