  I tried to uninstall Flash using these instructions, rebooted, reinstalled and no change:

  Safari and Firefox share the same Flash Player, so something is happening with Firefox.  Are you running any plugins of ad-blocking or anti-suivis?

  You could try Firefox > help > restart with disabled modules.

  If this does not work, you might just try to uninstall and reinstall Firefox.

  Download Offline Installer: Flash Player (Mac OS X)

  Leave everything except the Finder.

  Double-click on the DMG and let it mount & open.

  Click with the right button on the installer and choose "view the contents of the package.

  In the folder happy / Resources , double-click the Adobe Flash Player.pkg file and let it run.

  PS: Only this package (for Flash pro CS... Editor) in more than 40 MB (and normally in the "ZIP" format) is good! package.

  Not pages with Flash Player file (for navigator) for +/-3 MB or other packages of Flash player of +/-20 MB (for developers or old system) and containing only not the right files for Flash Pro CS3.

  Those you need to download is:

  • Download the Windows Flash Player 9 Projector content debugger (EXE, 3.64 MB)
  • Download the Windows Flash Player 9 projector (EXE, 3.26 MB)

  The first file is in the Players\Debug directory.

  The second goes into the Players\Release directory and players (Yes, it's the same file - check the size)

  Once you put the files here, remove the 'old' and rename the new as FlashPlayer.exe

  I have a Web page I inserted a file video flash on the page. The player is 320 x 240 and is the only thing that will appear on the page. I want to focus the player inside the div that it is in. I tried to set the margins of the div in CSS and it seems OK when I do this, but when I saw the page, it always appears on the left side of the div is it possible I can center that I'm missing?   It malicious actors area out there who take the Flash Player installer legitimate and pack it with malware, or simply to accommodate a virus/malware/etc to install/update and call Flash Player or some other permutation of this.  When people perform an Internet search these sites to install Flash Player, as well as of adobe.com are returned in the search results.  The people knowingly or not, go to the non-adobe.com site a download an installer of Flash Player potentially malicious or false who infects his system or click on a notification to update Flash Player fake/malicious window (see this article for an example: https://isc.sans.edu/forums/diary/Fake+Adobe+Flash+Update+OS+X+Malware/20693/).  Many of these false installers have been stigmatized for alike to official and legitimate Flash Player installer.  If you think that you may have used a fake installer of Flash Player install Flash Player, private message me the link to the site where you downloaded the installer from.  Adobe will actively after these malicious actors to remove fake/malicious installers.

  If you need to update Flash Player (latest version is 21.0.0.213) go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download the installation program.  Alternatively, you can opt in the background updates and Flash Player automatically downloads and installs an update within 24 hours of the update is available.  Updates to opt in the background follow these steps:

  • If Flash Player is already installed, launch system preferences > Flash Player > tab updated
    • Select "allow Adobe to install updates automatically (recommended)
  • If Flash Player is not installed, go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer and download the installer

  Make the other buttons property immediate = "true", then he ignores all validation on the client side.

  When you press each link on the page the animation will play, obviously before going to the directed page.

  You can use javascript or jQuery to capture and prevent the default action for a length of time while playback of the animation, then navigate to the location of the links once completed.

  I always wonder if I should install this. My use of the flash is limited, b/c I use click on play by element (extension). In these circumstances, would it be useful Mozilla to have this information in the telemetry reports sent from my browser? Or would use click here to read by element, defeat the purpose of testing the beta version of flash?
