  I'm on a Web page that I want and I click on a relevant link for more information about this page. The link opens correctly but so is another page that I did not and has no connection or interest to what I do. Then I have to cancel the unwanted page and one remains open.   I understand when you click a Web link within a site, two Web pages open instead of one. This looks like some kind of Adware and I would recommend looking for malware or reset Firefox (please understand that this will restore Firefox to its default values, and all customizations will be removed in a folder called 'Old Firefox Data' on the desktop)

  When I click on certain links particularly in gmail, for example, if I get an email from youtube of a video being downloaded and I click on the video says, firefox opens this link in a new tab, but the problem is that it will automatically switch to this tab that I hate.   You can check the tab bar setting in Options/Preferences > tabs.

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.  I could use a little clarification on your question.  Can you explain the situation in a bit more detail?  What I read, is that when you click the icon for your antivirus it basically does nothing (POP maybe a splash screen but then does not start).  Well, you say you are doing a clean boot.  This could very well be why your antivirus software does not work properly.  Clean boot disable start programs.  If your antivirus has need of one of the elements that has been turned off, which could cause the problem.  I suggest to turn off boot or go through msconfig and find everything that is related to your antivirus and turn them back on.   It is not an error so it's just to tell you that, due to low memory, the program that you are using is not respoding or takes to respond when you click Open program, it gives u this menu to move forward.

  You can either increase your memory or pagefile or having to run fewer programs at the same time. If you are running many programs you can remedy this by minimizing your startup programs and also make sure that your system is clean.

  You can use the same code as the mouse. Mouse events are also triggered when you use a finger on a touch screen. However, if you want more features, for, etc. example pinching to the zoom, you'll have to watch the TouchEvent class.

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).

  Since I installed the latest version of the player on my Windows 7 PC, when I click on a link to a PDF file in a Web page I immediately get a save as dialogue box.   The behavior of earlier versions of the player was to open the PDF for on-screen reading.  How to restore this behavior?  I don't see in the preferences (Ctrl-K).  Browser is Firefox last.  Thanks - Dave

  I did as b ^ 24554 and cleared out the cache and cookies and the problem seems to be resolved. Thank you.
