Bank ask I upgrade my browser, have links with MAC - do I trust him?
I have a MAC OS X Version 10.7.5. My financial institution asked that I update my web browser. They have links to Google, Mac - should - I trust their site for update?
You can only get a more modern version of Safari by updating the full version of Mac OS X.
Given that the Cougar is very old and Mavericks and Yosemite are no longer available, you must use the App Store to download El Capitan and Safari 9.

I have problems with anchors named in my htm file. I clearly identify them as being in the document (ie., internal links within the file). When I preview the file in a browser, the links point to my hard drive, which is totally false. What should I do to change it? I use DreamWeaver 2004 on a PC.
You will need to correct the links that begin with "file".
Now that your site has been defined, you just delete the bad links and DW left write the good ones for you.
Click on the yellow folder on the property inspector, and then select the target page.
If your site is small, you can edit the links manually (remove the part in red)
content.htm file:///C:/desktop/localRootFolder/subfolder/subfolder/images/
It would be useful that post you your code on the page so that we can see if you use the old technique or new for these links.

New Sites have links send links to other article. Crashes when sending.
Linux Mint 17. Installed Firefox just to the repository. I have links to send news from various sources. I put in the address and the note in the box and when I click on send, nothing happens. I assumed it was something to do with my computer. I just tried to send the same item with Chrome. He has worked with Google Chrome. I don't know if this is related, but sometimes, when a page is loading it crashes. After clicking on the button reload it shows. The sending of the email link problem showed several times before, but I didn't try another browser before.
After that I just sent a message in Google Chrome I tried with Firefox and it worked. I installed the troubleshooter until I sent the message again.
Type of topic: preferences in the address bar and press on Enter.
Select Applications. Check the setting of mailto.

Ask about upgrading to Windows 10 in Windows 7.
Original title: Windows 10
I have Windows7 64 - bit OS. Pop up to install free Windows10 is annoying to say the least. While I appreciate the option to install the latest free OS, I hesitate because:
(1) I'm not sure to have enough RAM, especially since I already have problems with how I use the computer, loads of the ESC-keeping open all the time, receive messages that my RAM is running low. (2) I don't know how much space it will take, although it seems that I would have plenty since I have more than 50% of my hard drive free. (3) others in the Community said to be hesitant because it is not always perfect; (4) without upgrading to Windows8, I'm not sure it's wise to go through 2 OS and I don't want a complication cause me to reinstall my Windows7 on the road, especially since I don't have and don't has never, the disc of the operating system as it was already installed on my laptop when I bought it from BestBuy.
So, what do you propose? Buy another computer with Windows 10 already installed?
Windows 10 is perfect? Or, does still having Windows8, as well as issues of 8.1?
Thank you.
Mary Ann
Hello
Thank you for showing your interest for Windows 10. I will definitely help you with this.
I share a few Microsoft help articles that can help you to clarify your doubts. Sometimes we face compatibility problems with drivers after the upgrade to Windows 10, but it's fixable. Your computer may run slowly if it doesn't have around 16 to 20 GB of free space on the hard disk. You can run Disk Cleanup to delete unnecessary files and folders from your computer.
You can go through the compatibility for Windows 10 report
Also, check specification
