Batch file executes all commands, MaxL seems to stop their

I have a batch file that looks like this (removed from the game in the middle which makes extraction of data, this is just to test)

E:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient-32\bin\startMaxl.cmd "E:\DataExtract\Scripts\MaxL-StartArchive.txt".

E:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient-32\bin\startMaxl.cmd "E:\DataExtract\Scripts\MaxL-StopArchive.txt".

It runs the first discovery MaxL file, and then in the said command prompt "MaxL Shell" done and goes back to the command prompt. It is not picking up the second MaxL script.

We are past just 11.1.2.1 and this has worked well in 11.1.1.3 when using essmsh. No idea why it is not in the script?

The contents of the two files is:

MaxL-StartArchive
login 'admin' identified by 'removedpassword' on 'servername ';

ALTER database CSHBud.PandL start archive to the file "E:\DataExtract\CurrentExtracts\Archive-CSHBud-PandL.txt";
ALTER database CSHBud.Wrkforce start archive to the file "E:\DataExtract\CurrentExtracts\Archive-CSHBud-Wrkforce.txt";

ALTER database PropBud.NOIStmt start archive to the file "E:\DataExtract\CurrentExtracts\Archive-PropBud-NOIStmt.txt";
ALTER database PropBud.Staffing start archive to the file "E:\DataExtract\CurrentExtracts\Archive-PropBud-Staffing.txt";

disconnection;

MaxL-StopArchive
login 'admin' identified by 'removedpassword' on 'servername ';

Edit the Archives of end CSHBud.PandL of database;
Edit the Archives of end CSHBud.Wrkforce of database;

Edit the Archives of end PropBud.NOIStmt of database;
Edit the Archives of end PropBud.Staffing of database;

disconnection;
"exit";

>

E:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient-32\bin\startMaxl.cmd "E:\DataExtract\Scripts\MaxL-StartArchive.txt".

Had this happen to a customer who has just improved
Try Cmd /C E:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient-32\bin\startMaxl.cmd "E:\DataExtract\Scripts\MaxL-StartArchive.txt".

  • How to have a batch file executed without the BACK popup on the screen?

    original title: running tape recorder in a minimized batch file or out of sight?

    Hi, I'm wanting to play a sound every 30 minutes.

    I wrote a batch file for use of Windows sound recorder to play the sound, and then close.  I will use the Task Scheduler to run and the calendar.  The sound seems to play fine, but every time it works I see a popup box BACK and then heard play recorder app.  These two things quickly disappear automatically, but ideally, I want the sound to play and can't see the window BACK or recorder popup of sounds on the screen.  Is there a way to minimize or hide these things automatically?  As it is run in the background, but still play the sound?  My batch file is below:

    Sndrec32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\Media\chimes.wav" /PLAY / CLOSE

    This could help you.

  • Windows 7 keeps looping in my batch files

    I recently bought a new computer and Windows 7 came over her.  I like it so far.  I just have a problem.  I can't run batch files.

    If I open the command prompt and type:

    stop s f

    everything works fine.  I gives me a notice that my computer shuts down in less than a minute.  But I put exactly the same inside a file, I named "shutdown.bat" command prompt appears and shows exactly what I typed, skip a line, then it displays again and again and again and again...

    So I am confused.  I've been reading about people having problems with batch files in Windows 7, but my problem seems completely different from theirs.

    Now all I know is:

    • command prompt will still receive the shutdown command
    • My batch file run when double click
    • contents of the batch file will not run

    If anyone can help?

    It is a classic case of the dog bites his tail. When you put the command

    stop s f

    in your batch file then this command executes the batch itself rather than shutdown.exe, as shutdown.bat is located in the current folder! There are several ways to solve this problem, but the safest is to avoid at all costs to name your batch file identical to a system file. Rename it to MyShutdown.bat and your problem will be solved.

  • How to use batch files to deliver the payload of the ODC to AAU?

    Hi all.
    We are trying to do along this week and, so far, we could not understand how to use the batch files containing the option on the ODC and validate the output files to the University Complutense of MADRID.
    So, these are our specifications:

    VM 1
    ODC - 10 gR 3
    OS - Windows XP 32-bit SP3
    DB - Oracle DB 11.2

    VM 2
    No ODC
    UCM 11.1.1.6
    OS - Enterprise Linux Enterprise Linux Server version 5.5 (Carthage)

    We have opened a ticket with the Oracle Support for how we should do it. The number is 3-6108348211 SR.
    Let me try to explain what we want to do:
    1. we have a batch file with all the metadata for many files of UCM
    2. we want to use this ODC file, so the application converts the images and they are committed to the Complutense University of MADRID
    3. we should see all these files and their metadata, thumbnails and content associated with the Complutense University of MADRID
    4. it is an example of batch file we want to send to ODC:

    --------------------------------------------------
    LocalData @Properties
    IdcService = CHECKIN_UNIVERSAL
    dRevLabel = 1
    primaryFile=/tra/Relatorio_UHPF-03-04-2008-M-RL-EA.pdf
    dDocName = TRA_33
    dDocTitle=UHPF-03-04-2008-M-RL-EA
    dSecurityGroup = MAM_TRA
    dDocType = Document
    dDocAuthor = luis .neotropical
    dInDate = 14/05/08
    xC_CLASSIFICACAO = EA - Educação Ambiental
    xC_DATA = 01/04/08
    xC_DATAVALIDADE = 30/04/08
    xC_LOCALIZACAOFISICA = N/A
    xC_USUARIO_DEP = LUIS FERNANDO DA CAMARA
    xC_TIPO = RL - Relatório
    xC_USINA = UHPF - MACHINING HIDRELETRICA PASSO FUNDO
    xC_FICHA = MAM - environmental reports
    xC_IDDOCMAN = TRADocID = 157
    xC_IDANEXODOCMAN = TRAFileID = 33
    xC_DESTINOINICIAL = Tractebel
    xC_ORIGEM = Neotropical
    xC_FORMATODOCUMENTO = digital
    xC_GENERODOCUMENTO =
    xC_DOCPRINCIPAL = Sim
    @end
    < < NEM > >
    -----------------------------------------------------

    5 so, when we use this command on the ODC file, the file (or image) is converted, all metadata attached and then sent to the Complutense University of MADRID.

    But we do not know how to make the link between the ODC and UCM. The Oracle Support says that it is necessary to make some adjustments. In the books I couldn't find info on how to do, just generic information or the use of the ODC.
    Is there a way (without personalization) to do? Can someone give us a step by step guide?

    Thanks for any help and advice.

    Fernando

    It doesn't really have much point which is good to UCM to ODC, given that the ODC is really an indexing tool to get content in Complutense University of MADRID and capture. Once the content is in the Complutense University of MADRID, it should be at its final location.

    Batch files are the property of the University Complutense of MADRID and have no meaning to the ODC. Import of the ODC server has the ability to read the meta in a list, which is similar, but not a
    "Batch UCM file.

    You can have IBR convert files directly in the University Complutense of MADRID, trying to use ODC to convert is redundant.

    ODC was out of the configuration of the box with the AAU.

    For this question: "but we do not know how to make the link between the ODC and UCM.»

    The documentation covers all this very well. what page of the documentation is misleading or causing problem you?

    The guide step by step would be the documentation of the ODC.

    Hello

    you create a MaxL script that calls the report script. When it does not, you create a batch file that launches the MaxL script.

    MaxL example: export sample.basic database using fichier_journal '' $ARBORPATH/App/Sample/Basic/asym.rep' ' of data_file ' home/month2.rpt ";

    The batch file called essmsh.

    I tried to post this in two areas forum now and were correct, so apologies in advance if this is not where I belong!

    Im trying to run Drush msysgit (drupal Shell installed specifically for windows). Everything was fine a few days ago and now the program always runs with the above error

    'mode' is not recognized as internal or external, command an executable program or batch file.

    I uninstalled all the programs involved. The error does not occur when running it through the window of own shell programs (Drush) but msysgit has a problem with the file in mode to 'find '. I asked in the forums own programs, but it seems that it is a windows error. -Maybe in relation to the MS-DOS file mode (name full mode.com) in the system32 folder.
    I tried also to include the file in the environment variables but no joy at all. Any ideas anyone?

  • DRM Batch Client; Combing all executables?

    Hello team,

    Currently my windows batch scripts works perfectly. I have no numbers of nay by saying, but I want to pass along a question.

    Currently, I use a lot of exports, BackupToFiles, RestoreFromFiles etc.  They are all on different schedules.  Where I can combine scripts, I do it.

    However, ss there a way to put all the executables in a scripts and only perform the operation, I feel like at any given time?  Now it seems that if I put all my executable in a script, all operations are started at the same time.

    For example, my "Account_Export.cmd" call my script "drm_batch_export.cmd" 3 times a day

    My 'CurrentVersion_Backup.cmd' call my script "Version_BTF.cmd" once a week

    etc.

    etc.

    (Of course, executable scripts are scripts that holds all of the syntax of the requested operation)

    Finally, is there a way to combine all my executables in a script, but only the kickoff of the operation when it is supposed to get the shot?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    My views could also separate them and just create a folder called CMD or executable and put all the batch files in this folder. Like putting a time check the various processes to run would only increase code complexity.

    However, if you still want to do this-

    Create a variable varTime in your batch file as shown below, don't forget not when hours are 1-9 there is extra space prefixed to the hours to explain the missing numbers and that's why we have the second line, which removes all space if there is.

    SET varTime = % time: ~ 0, 2% time: ~ 3, 2%

    The VALUE "varTime = % varTime: = %.

    so if the time is 09:59 the variable after the second line contains 959

    If the time is 13:30 then the variable after the second line will have 1330

    You can use this to write an If condition in the script of commands, so if the value of the variable is not equal to the time you want to run it in, it's going to go to the other party or to any specifier goto will quote you.

    You can use this for your desire to conditionally check the time.

    Thank you

  • Call a visual basic executable file with arguments command line using LABView

    Hi all

    I try to call a visual basic executable file with a command line using LABView 2014 argument. What I'm trying to accomplish executes an executable file that communicates with a device via a COM port. So, I would open the .exe with a command line argument to communicate via com 3 using the SYSTEM Exec VI. It seems that the command prompt window flashes and closes and then nothing happens. Not a lot of discussions about this on the forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    With some programs, instead of passing in the string:

    Somefile.exe

    Instead, you can use:

    cmd /c "C:\Full Path\to the EXE\Somefile.exe"

    Can you tell us what exactly you are trying to run?

  • ESX command line batch file

    We run ESX 4.x and I need to make about 200 CLI commands in the command-line of each host.  Is it possible to create a batch file in the shell ESX I can just stick all these commands in and then run time?

    In the Windows world, it would be easier that Paste commands into a *.bat and then file by running it at the time, but I have no idea how to make it in the world of ESX.

    Thank you!

    Since the Console is based on Linux file extension would usually be .sh (e.g. myscript.sh). To run it, you need to make it executable with chmod + x myscript.sh or run it using sh./myscript.sh.
