Best home... W7Pro or W7Home Premium?

I'm building a PC for a friend. He wants W7Pro OS. I mean W7Home Premium.

Who is right?

I like WXP Pro at home. I don't know enough about W7 to make a valid point with the exception of the money.

Thanx, party cloudy

I use a Best Ever home page to my home page and my son was using the computer while I wasn't there and it changed somethings. The 'homepage' is giant size now and I don't know how do it as if it was. Also the toolbar file, bookmarks, etc. is gone.

I have no idea how some of the 'installed plugins' (belo) got there?

Try to press and hold CTRL on the keyboard and press 0
the control key is on the left background (& right)
    0 is the digit zero

Using Ctrl + 0 to reset the zoom, it is fixed for each site, note.

To get your toolbar back, try pressing the Alt Key keyboard (it's probably next to the space bar) and may temporarily cause the menu bar to display, pressing V then T should give you options to set the toolbars you want to display for example, the bookmarks toolbar. Note your sone may well make use of the firefox button, which also provide similar access to features

Be in full-screen mode, which also causes the menu bars disappear, display, try pressing the F11 key on the keyboard (wait a few seconds as the screen to redraw) should switch you to the full screen in.

One thing you can in view of the future is implemented on your Vista operating system separate accounts for your self and your son, so that way everyone can to some extent make changes the way they like without unduly harming the other.

When Setup like that each user has their own profiles for firefox and once again the changes can be made separately.

There could be other reasons for your problems, but I assume that your son has just forgotten to redefine the parameters on those that you had used.

  • do a home reinstall windows 7 premium, wants a username and psswrd even if I never entered one

Hard drive crashed, don't know why. So after trying the system repair disc, I bought a new copy of windows 7 Home premium, went through a very long reinstall process which looked successful. I don't think that the process has never requested a user name or password. However, during the first startup of the log on screen pops up and I have no idea what password it should be. under my Lenovo system he never asked for a user name only a password. now, he wants a user name and a password. is there a rational solution. I used my startup repair disk and try to reset the administrator password at the prompt of cmd for nothing or erase. There always appears to a user name and a password

Installation of Windows 7 request username and password, he must ask for user name and password to create a user

Try username as username and leave the password empty
If "User" work try computer brand as "Acer", "HP", leave the password empty

  • Windows 7 home premium to 7Pro

    Hello

I'm having difficulties to upgrade a computer with W7home premium pro. Tried to update at any time, but he wants me to buy. I already have the drive Pro here. Just race that this disc does not allow an upgrade he keeps referring to the Windows anytime upgrade. It asks also a product key for "anytime upgrade" I don't have that. Any help would be appreciated.

    Bob.

You can use a product key Windows 7 Professional with Windows Anytime Upgrade.

If the license for Windows 7 Professional, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade to Windows 7 Edition Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Professional on demand, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Professional your files, programs and settings retained.

  • We can use Windows 7 Home Basic Edition or Windows 7 Edition Home Premium for commercial purposes?

can we use portable Windows 7 Home premium basic / home preinstalled in our commercial pvt ltd co

There's nothing wrong with using the Home Basic edition or Premium Home business. Note that, depending on your corporate network, you may not be able to access some network resources if your company uses a domain controller for authentication.

You can only do this with the editions of Windows 7 Professional or ultimate edition.

  • Connect laptop computer Win7 wireless all in one single premium 309g

For some reason when I try to connect my Win7 laptop to my home network and the premium all in a 309g printer which is connected wireless to my network home and trying to get the printer to print on my laptop, in the add printer box, it turns out the printer 2 times. The first time as Photosmart premium 309g and there still the same name of the printer, but with "HPOB437F" in the name of the printer. most later showing a green check mark. The two printer icons look like 2 different model printers. Also when I click on my computer with drives C, D, G, then Z to the printer. When I got this installed printer before ever stood there.

Any help in setting up my installation would be appreciated.

A may be associated with the simple operation of the system driver and the other related to the complete HP software.

Delete the one with less settings, I guess.

    Hello Shane

On each laptop comes with the recovery disc HARD (supplied without recovery DVD) image there is option to create recovery DVDs. On these computers laptop Toshiba has installed reminder with exact recommendation for the creation of recovery media. This media can be used later for the installation of Vista.

According to your announcement you didn't create this media and you now have the big problem. When the new operating system is installed F8 option will be gone and there is no way to reinstall OS recorded image of HARD drive recovery. One last thing - Toshiba does not create a hidden restore partition and recovery image is recorded on the second partition of HARD drive in the folder called HDDRecovery.

In any case, now you will have no possibility to start installing the OS from there.

Button located on the bottom side belongs to the recovery image and cannot be used with the new facility.

What you can do is to check the last assignment under http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=40790 and try to do the same. I didn t test and can not confirm it will work properly.

Another solution is a new copy of the DVD of recovery for your laptop model. You can do so under the https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

    Good luck!
