Best material for max in FSX settings

Hello

I have a question about FSX. After a search through many websites and articles, I decided that the best thing would be to ask here.

I have Microsoft FSX and I need to buy a laptop on which I'm going to run it.

But I read it is what we call the FPS which makes the game more realistic. And who should be set at 30-40.

I understand that I need at least a processor i5 and about 6 GB of RAM, but what I paint a full stop is the graphics card.

As a flight simmer, I will install various other addons as GSX, FlyTampa Dubai, PMDG, among many others, and I want that they run with full settings and no slagging. I also want the FPS to be quite high. What should I expect?

PS: It can be for anything, Deluxe, acceleration or steam

"FPS which makes the game more realistic."

FPS = frames per second. There is no more realistic games as such. A low fps makes games

less smooth and a very low fps will show that of latency, both in the game and mouse movement.

More IPS also helps reduce blur during panning, especially if more than 60 fps (when a monitor with)

allows also a refresh rate of 120 Hz)

30 images/s would be the minimum desirable frame rate, but some people are not happy with a less than 60 frames per second rate.

The game in question also of factors in which is the lowest rate of desirable framework. Some games smooth

at 30-40 fps than others, but here again, different people have a different perception.

I'm usually satisfied a little around 45 + fps, but not too fussed if it comes down to 35fps in time.

Depending on the game.

'6 GB of RAM'

Computer laptop mfg tend to throw in bad RAM configurations. They do this to make the machine card to look better,

but it is best to keep the RAM balanced, so if using four sticks, you would have to do with 6 GB

= 2x2gb + 2x1GB, it would be preferable to have 4X2GB.

Or even worse - three sticks of 2 GB. Three sticks will be run in single channel mode less effective RAM

mode dual channel vs. To run in mode dual channel the machine needs of 2 or 4 strips of RAM.

Using two sticks of 2 x 4 GB is better than using four, because it puts less stress on the memory controller.

-That said, FSX can accommodate 4 GB total?

-I've never used a modern Flight Simulator (CFS2 & IL2), but I understand that flight sims are somewhat related to the CPU.

That is to say that they rely heavily on the cpu for calculations of realistic flight, then yes that an i5 would be better

What an i3. An i7 wouldn't it be better if the Flight Simulator is able to use Hyper-Threading technology.

-However, if you use landscapes of high resolution and other addons/mods you need also a high range gpu.

Computer laptop gpu are lower-clocked vs their equivalent office (a M at the end of same model number)

help keep the power consumption and temp down (laptops are known for overheating when playing games or the sims)

with system high requirements for long periods of time, that is to say-more than an hour).

That's why you need a computer laptop gpu a bit higher than what you would use for the same level of

eye candy "graphics" and the realism that a person using a desktop computer that PC would get if you rely on the connection

a 24 "monitor.

This isn't a recent game, but because of the addons specs could be somewhat higher when released.

various website forums flight sim would be the best place to find out exactly what this game demands when using addons you mention.

-You can also compare the options of AMD and Nvidia by reading reviews of their current model laptop gpu.

While the critics are not likely to include a Flight Simulator in the benchmarks game, you should always be able

extrapolating from the games they reference when comparing the specifications of the "recommended" system

for these games with the requirements of FSX (after factoring in the potential stress of addons 'modern').

The Nvidia GTX 970 m is the current model under high-end Nvidia GPUs (GTX 980 m).

You may still be able to get by with a GTX 960 m, or even a GTX 950 m, but I'm going to start you with the

review of the GTX 970 m (just to tease you: D).

  • Best material for editing?

I want to upgrade my computer to edit it. I have an iMac 2011: 2,5 GHz, memory 4 GB, AMD Radeon HD 6750 M 512 MB. I plan to buy another iMac. with a budget of $2500, what would you recommend for best performance for editing? I would emphasise quality video card, memory RAM, or disk (4 cores, 7 carrots, fusion, etc...)?

Download video card with MOST of the vRAM.  That means generally that you will also get the quad core i7 with Turbo Boost technology (acts like one 8 cores when you need it - and presents itself as 8 cores with MenuMeters.) The 2013 iMac had a 'backdoor' easily add RAM, and if this is always the case - buy an extra set of 16G of Crucial or some other 3rd party and add it yourself - you will make savings (if I remember) about $200.  If I had to start everything, I would have also obtained the reader of the merger, but the internal (regular) hard drive in the iMac Gets a pretty decent read/write speed (about 130 MB/s) but not what you really want with video editing. The proposed internal SSD is fairly low, so, I generally recommend external SSD drives and their construction schedules. USB3 is fast. Love at first sight would be better, but it's still expensive. An SSD in USB3 is quite impressive (I get about 300-400 MB/s R/W for one and 370-435 on the other). You can get a USB3 box for $10-$40 (Amazon has a housing Kdlinks now, limited time, for only $9.95!) and you can find a 500 GB SSD for under $ 200 these days. I bought Crucial SSD (I have a little bit o 'too o' Scottish blood in me), but what I've read, the Samsung EVOs are among the fastest (~500MB/s).

-VRAM so Max it is possible! (- what it takes to get this top of the line card... graphics you have it.) - and lotsa RAM (you can buy 8 with mac + 16 crucial for 24 which will give respectable service) - fast external drives are a nice addition.

  • Best updates for Compaq Presario?

    Hey guys,.

Currently, I have a rather old system, it all works perfectly, and I take the best care all my hardware/software. I'm really at play here lately, and I've been playing World of Warcraft for the past 6 years. Well, I've had this computer for about 4-5 years and he ran the game fine, but now with the new expansion (cataclysm), it has been a bit sluggish.

Updates only I bought because it's far more memory and a graphics card (Yes, I am overclocking the card as well). I am pretty intelligent computer and have more general knowledge then. But my knowledge base do not go as far as proccessors. And to be honest, I don't know what I should get, or weather I have to just buy a new computer all together.

Here are all my system features:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00910224

-I know that my problem lies in the proccessor, because I don't think he can handle the new action of intense game that has developed over the last 5 years or longer. My graphics card works perfectly and very very smooth everything. But when I enter persay, a 25 man raid, where everyone in the raid is casting/attack, then I drop from 60 frames per second (on max settings) at about 14 frames per second. I even tried decreasing my settings all the way, and I'm going 80 fps (on smaller settings) to about 22 images per second. Also, I have a very good internet service, one of the fastest on the market.

So any ideas would be good, and it would be even better if someone could give me some links to the best proccessor for this socket/computer. I don't mean not all the more expensive outside, I mean something that runs very well of new age stuff.

    Thank you

  • Best practices for color use in Adobe CC?

    Hi all

Is there an article that describes the best practices for use of color in Adobe CC?

I produce a mixture of viewing online (PDF, for the most part) and real world print projects - often with the obligation for both. I recently updated my PANTONE + bridge books for the first time in ages and I am suddenly confused by the use of Lab colors in the Adobe Suite (Illustrator and InDesign).

Everything I found online, looks like Lab color mode preferred to use because it is device independent. And perceptual (on screen), it looks much closer to the color, it is trying to represent. But when I mark a Spot color Illustrator rectangle using laboratory coordinates, to the sides of a rectangle using PANTONE + bridge CP and then export it to PDF, the version of CP to mix CMYK color corresponds exactly to my Pantone book - while the version of laboratory (after converted to CMYK using the ink Manager) is far away.

I have this fantasy to manage only a single Illustrator or InDesign file for both worlds (PDF) printed and online. Is not possible in practice?

Any info describing the basic definitions of the color modes - or even a book tracing more than use them in the real world - would be much appreciated!

    Thank you

    Bob

Here are a few best practices you can already do.

1 make sure that your color settings are synchronized on all applications.

    2. use a CMYK profile appropriate for your print output. Lab spot colors convert to CMYK values based on the CMYK icc profile.

    3. include icc profiles when save or export pdf files

In theory, your imagination is possible today. It requires color management and the use of icc profiles. You can place RGB images in InDesign and use Pantone colors in your objects. The problem lies in the printers. If a printer uses a RIP with built in Pantone library, the colors will match when printing. Unfortunately, this kind of CUT is more expensive and not enough printers use them. Most of them is always manually approximate CMYK values composition given Pantone colors.

  • Where are the best sites for high-level and how information to do different things in Oracle?

    Hello

Where are the best sites for high-level and how information about various things in Oracle?

    Some examples of things:

    * spa

    * spm

    * db replay

    * Resource Manager

    I need a place high-level

and also a place of step by step.

For example, I look at these sites:

    www.Oracle-base.com

    www.psoug.org

    Thank you Roger

Part of the problem is not so much finding sites that have articles on Oracle, that is to find reliable websites with this information.  When I search my site of certification for resources, I find a significant number of people who have 'technical' Articles on Oracle. However, many of these blog posts have simply no useful information.  It is not even that they are wrong so far as article does not include anything that is not declared more clearly and in detail in the documentation.

That said, a site you have not mentioned above is the Oracle Learning Library.  There very often an excellent material that is very closely linked to the themes of the certification:

  • Best app for the batch processing of photos for the web?

I would like to know what is the best application for batch processing photos for the web quickly and easily. I'm a web editor and often need to resize, compress, or crop several photos and would like a quick way to configure the basic parameters and processes for example 20 pictures at once. Basically, I'm looking for something with the ability to FastStone Photo Resizer (I'm on a Mac and cannot use FastStone). I remember an once suggested graphic designer LightRoom - would that be a good idea or Adobe has something else? Or maybe not Adobe at all?

PhotoShop seems heavy for this purpose: it is ideal to make the photo woth that much at the time, but less large to do less with many pictures at once. I know that I can implement some sort of macro-thingie, but I would like to be able to quickly change settings such as the percentage of compression or the width in pixels.

I don't need a lot of editing tools, mostly just work in pixels, resizing, compression or cropping and save for the web in .jpg and .png - and Mac.

I hope someone here can guide me in the right direction.

  • Your comments on PC build/material for After effects / Cinema4d

    Hey all,.

We are in the middle of buying a new PC and would like your input if the specs meet our demand.

    What we do:

We will use the system to mainly After Effects and Element3D, Premiere Pro and Cinema4D running Windows 10.

Here's what we found so far:

    Intel® Core™ i7 - 6700K 4x4.00GHz (4.20 GHz Turbo), 8 MB cache, HT

    ASUS Geforce 4 GB GDDR5 STRIX GTX970

    500GB SSD Samsung 850 EVO

    32 GB DDR4-2666 HyperX/Vengaence RAM

    Motherboard Asus Z170 - p Skylake

    Corsair VS550 550W power supply

I hope to get some feedback from you guys!

    / Lasse

prices on the i7 - 6700 k have increased a lot and are not a value of current prices. This leaves the i7 - 4790 k or i7 - 5820 k relies as the best options.

The i7 - 4790 k is a similar speed but only use ddr3. with the card mother right can be overclocked and use a fast ddr3, like 2400 mhz memory.

The i7 - 5820 k is 6 hearts and about 15-20% faster than the other 4 core i7. the cpu can be cheaper, but the motherboard 99 x more expensive. the cpu can be the best investment for the performance, and the x 99 platform will also provide better level options by releasing broadwell-E.

Generic for installation disc instructions samsung evo should be fine for the OS/apps, but pro is preferable and recommended for a cache drive because there better stamina.

You can choose a diet of higher quality than the "value series". at least 750w if going with the 99 x build. higher watt psu can also help with higher overclocks/max.

I have ESXi 4.1 update 1 currently installed (vSphere Hypervisor). We do not vCenter.

I'm trying to find the best option for the upgrade of the hypervisor, ESXi 4.1 U1 to ESXi 4.1 U3. I must:

1 using the Installable version, and once installation is complete, restore the configuration settings using a configuration file saved with PowerCLI?

    2. use a version upgrade from 4.1 U3 with vihostupdate?

If I go with #2, which download do I need? Thanks for your help. I'm reading the tutorials, but some of it is particularly unclear, in particular upgrade options (rather than clean install) I like to do it if possible.

    Welcome on it community.

There are a couple of documentation on foot and hollows that explain how patch a single host (for example http://www.vladan.fr/how-to-update-the-esxi-4-1-free-version-to-esxi-4-1-update-1/) in your case just replace the patch bundle with Update--esxi4.1 - 4.1_update03

Ensure that all virtual machines are (non-suspended) turned off before applying the batch of patches.

  • Best practices for the application of sharpness in your workflow

Recently I tried to get a better understanding of some of the best practices for sharpening in a workflow. I guess that I didn't know, but there are several places to sharpen. Who are the best? They are additive?

My typical workflow involves capture an image with a professional DSLR in RAW or JPEG or import into Lightroom and export to a JPEG file for the screen or printing of two lab and local.

There are three places in this workflow to add sharpening. In the DSLR manually into Lightroom and when exporting a JPEG file or print directly from Lightroom

It is my understanding that sharpening is added to RAW images even if you add sharpening in your DSLR. However sharpening will be added to the JPEG from the camera.

Back to my question, it is preferable to manually the sharpness in the SLR in Lightroom or wait until you export or output of your printer or final JPEG file. And additive effects? If I add sharpening to the three places I am probably more sharpening?

You have to treat them differently both formats. Data BULLIES never have any sharpening applied by the camera, only JPEG files. Sharpening is often considered to be a workflow where there are three steps (see here for a seminal paper on this idea).

    I. a step sharpening of capture which compensates for the loss of sharp in detail due to the Bayer matrix and the filter anti-repliement and sometimes the lens or diffraction.

II. A creative sharpening step where some details in the image are 'highlighted' sharpness (do you eyelashes on a model's face), and

III. output sharpening, where you fix the loss of sharpness due to the scale/resampling for the properties of the average output (as blur because of an impression how process works or blurry because of the way that a screen LCD sets out its pixels).

These three are implemented in Lightroom. I. and II. are essential, and basically must always be performed. II. until your creative minds. I. is the sharpening that see you in the Panel to develop. You need zoom at 1:1 and optimize the settings. The default settings are OK but quite conservative. Usually you can increase the value of the mask a little so that you're not sharpen noise and play with the other three sliders. Jeff Schewe gives an overview of a strategy simple to find the optimal settings here. It is for the cab, but the principle remains the same. Most of the photos will benefit from optimization a bit. Don't go overboard, but just OK for smoothness to 1:1.

Stage II as I have said, is not essential, but it can be done using the local adjustment brush, or you can go to Photoshop for this. Stage III, however, is very essential. This is done in the export, the print panel Panel or the web. You can't really get a glimpse of these things (especially the sharpening printing-oriented) and it will take a little experimentation to see what you like.

For jpeg, sharpening is done already in the camera. You could add a small extra capture sharpening in some cases, or simply lowering the sharpening in camera and then have more control in the post, but generally, it is best to leave it alone. Stage II and III, however, are still necessary.
