bind an outputFormatter a table binding

I have a page with a table that is bound to a data control. I would like to display a value of a particular column when the row is selected in an outputformatter under the table component.

< table >
< id col = "1" / >
< id col = "2" / >
< table >
< outputformatter bind = column with the id of 1 >

Is it achievable?

Please excuse the pseudocode fast but I hope you get the idea.

Hello

Once after you set the value to outputFormatted, you must refresh the component by setting the property partialTriggers to the id of the table.

It can also be done without programming, if you have defined the simple rowSelection property and selectionListener with the default (selectionListener = "#{bindings..") collectionModel.makeCurrent}').

Try this:
-Make sure that you set the single rowSelection property and selectionListener to "#{bindings..» collectionModel.makeCurrent}
-Drag and drop the attribute you want to display in the outputFormatter of the data control palette
-Set the af partialTriggers: outputFormatted tag to the id of the table

Example Code:
{code}

    Hallo,

    I want to create a method that takes as a parameter the id of an af:table (used to display the search results) and returns:

    • the column headings of the af: table
    • Visible property (true/false) of the columns af:table
    • the actual query of the VO instance used to create the af: table

    For this, you can use this type of code

    Context LocaleContext = _adfTableBinding.getLocaleContext ();

    for (attr AttributeDef: attributeDef) {}

    Label As String = attr.getUIHelper () .getLabel (context);

    _logger.info ("Attritbute name:" + attr.getName () + "column name:" + attr.getColumnName () + "Col4Query name:" + attr.getColumnNameForQuery () +)

    "Name:"+ label);

    }

  • Table binding Row UI component

    Hi all

    Jdev Version: 11.1.1.7.1

    I have a requirement where in on a table, I have a selectOneChoice as the first column and an inputText as the second. The inputText must reset the basis of the selection on the first column.

    The "Advanced" section properties inspector, I added a link to my bean. I have a selectionListener where I get this link and call resetValue() to reset. But this only works for the first row.

    Is there a way by which we can get to the UI on the SelectionListener inputText component?

    Thank you

    If the value of the ID of the table to single selection, you should get enter text through the link layer.

    If you have not already available binding you can drag the attribute of the vo on the page that will create the binding. Then switch to source mode and remove the inject that will be created with the binding. The link is not removed in this way.

    Once you have the link you can get the selection listener binding and reset the value.

  • For Timo: Dynamically create pivot table binding

    Hi Timo,

    Long time ago you have this announcement on a thread:

    "The solution for your use a 2013 DOAG case, I presented was to create binding table pivot out user defined attributes in the table."

    For the defined attributes, VO is created dynamically and the pivot link.

    The pivot link is exchanged during execution as well as the activation of the adequate VO Dynamics to get only the

    necessary data for the pivot table in particular.

  • pass the binding variable to the af:table using the menu drop-down

    I need to create an af:table to pull all employees belonging to a Department. I created the table based on a viewobject.

    The query in the view object has a variabe bind, for example:

    Select * from employee where deptname to (select deptname of Department where deptid =: deptid)

    My question is how to get the deptid selected in a drop-down list value passed to the query of the table of the adf?

    The user, what version jdev you use?

    Where is the location THAT LOV located on the page? Once you have the service ID, you can use the executeWithParams to run the query and display the result in the table.

  • Two criteria in mind: one for af:query, second with bind var, both use same result table

    JDeveloper 12.1.2

    I have two display criteria, VC1 and VC2 are based both on the same VO. For example, let's say that I have used VO

    SELECT Employees.EMPLOYEE, Employees.EMPLOYEE_ID, Employees.FIRST_NAME, Employees.LAST_NAME, Employees.DEPARTMENT_ID

    Employees;

    Let this be VC1:

    SELECT * from (SELECT Employees.EMPLOYEE, Employees.EMPLOYEE_ID, Employees.FIRST_NAME, Employees.LAST_NAME, Employees.DEPARTMENT_ID

    EMPLOYEES employees ) QRSLT WHERE 1 = 2

    Used for af:query

    So let's say I have VC2 with bind variable

    SELECT * from (SELECT Employees.EMPLOYEE, Employees.EMPLOYEE_ID, Employees.FIRST_NAME, Employees.LAST_NAME, Employees.DEPARTMENT_ID

    EMPLOYEES employees ) QRSLT WHERE 1 = 2 AND ((UPPER (QRSLT. Department_id) = UPPER(:DeptIdBind))) )

    The user runs the af:query research and resulting table lists some employees. The last value of the column in the table of results, I did as links:

    < af:column headerText = 'Department' id = "c1" width = "140" >

    < af:link shortDesc = "#{bindings.myVO.hints.DepartmentId.tooltip}" id = "ot4" text = ' #{row. "" DepartmentId}'

    action = "#{backingBeanScope.MyBean.byDept}" partialTriggers =": t1" / >

    < / af:column >

    If the user now clicks on the link, I would expect the following:

    1. the values entered in the af: query to stay

    2. the table refreshes since the underlying VC2 is defined and executed VO. Here is the code VOImpl and backingbean

    The bean of support code

    public String byDept() {}

    Links DCBindingContainer = (DCBindingContainer) BindingContext.getCurrent () .getCurrentBindingsEntry ();

    DCIteratorBinding dcItteratorBindings = bindings.findIteratorBinding("EmployeesIterator");

    Line r = dcItteratorBindings.getCurrentRow ();

    Object keyvar = r.getAttribute ("DepartmentId");

    OperationBinding searchExp = ADFUtils.findOperation ("searchByDept");

    searchExp.getParamsMap () .put ("deptId", keyvar);

    searchExp.execute ();

    Returns a null value.

    }

    Impl VO

    {} public void searchByDepartment (String deptId)

    setDeptIdBind (deptId);

    executeQuery();

    }

    Problem:

    Query (VC2) runs but table does not reflect that. That is to say I don't see the list of employees of the selected Department

    Any idea?

  • A search criterion and the result as a table in the header. Wanted to bind the result table to bean to access the value of the key

    The search criteria and the result is displayed in the table in a group header.  I want to get the value of the selected row and analyze the value of Vo in the next page for a variable binding. So I need to manage the value biniding to the bean tbal, but there is no option to bind the table to a bean. So, how can I get the selected value.

    Kind regards

    K M Krishna.

    First tell us your version of jdev, please.

    to get to the selected line you need not to link the table to a managed bean. You can for example drag the necessary attributes of the VO on the page and drop them as components of a inputText. the framework then generated the attribute bindings and sets the values of the current row for them. As you do not really need the inputText elements switch to source view (! it is essential!), then remove them. This will eliminate the Visual component, but attribute bindings are stored.

    Know you can access the values through their EL or as you get the value of an attribute via it's mandatory.

  • Properties of the component to bind to a table in a backingBean

    Hello

    JDev: 11.1.1.5.0
    I guess that the object represents my question!

    How is it possible to bind a property of a component (for example, af:column). DisplayIndex in a table in a backing bean?

    something like this:

    displayIndex = "#{pageFlowScope.MyBackingBean.MyAttributeProperties [0] .displayIndex} '"

    Thank you

    Shahab

    Hello

    not only your subject line says the question, almost gives you the answer.

    [If #{pageFlowScope.MyBackingBean.MyAttributeProperties [0}] is a HashMap (no table) which returns a Java object if this Java object has a property of JavaBean (getter/setter) for displayIndex then #{pageFlowScope.MyBackingBean.MyAttributeProperties [0] .displayIndex} returns the value. So basically, you need to create a HashMap of objects, not an array.

  • ADF table with checkbox refresh data binding problem

    Hello.

    I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.3. I need to use the table with checkboxes in each row of the table in my project. I use VO with transitional 'Selected' attribute that has a boolean type.
    Everything works well, wait one thing:
    When you click checbox with valueChangeListener and try to get the selected line in the managedBean you won't get any selected lines. After selecting second maaged bean evil shows that 1 single line is selected. It's my managedBean method:

    public void SelectCountyClick (ValueChangeEvent valueChangeEvent) {}

    DCIteratorBinding it = ADFUtils.findIterator (ITERATOR_NAME);

    int selectedRowCount = 0;
    RowSetIterator laughs = it.getRowSetIterator ();
    Line r = rit.first ();
    If (r! = null) {}
    If ((Boolean) r.getAttribute ("Selected"))
    selectedRowCount ++;
    }

    While (rit.hasNext ()) {}
    r = rit.next ();
    If ((Boolean) r.getAttribute ("Selected"))
    selectedRowCount ++;
    }

    System.out.println ("selected all THE LINES:" + selectedRowCount);

    }

    I tried to change this event to the client event, I got the line number, I put 'true' or 'false' to the code data binding, but whenever I can't correct data after the value change event.

    Please help me.

    The latest idea is updated databing after click of checkbox, I think. Please help me.

    Thank you!

    You must go through the concepts of life cycle of page ADF. In simple terms the Boolean value in the model is not defined in valueChangeListener. Try adding (.processUpdates) valueChangeEvent.getComponent (FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ()); on top of your listener method and see the effect.

    The entity attribute 'PercentFlag', just change the type BigDecimal (or whatever it is at the moment) to Boolean. JDeveloper will automatically change the column type of database in BITS, which allows that the values 0 (false) and 1 (true).
    From there, once you drag the PercentFlag (or the entire table) in the data source to a page, JDeveloper will automatically add the column as a SelectBooleanCheckBox.
    I also recommend to set the default value for the attribute of the entity to 0 or 1. If the value is null and that the record is loaded on a page and validated, the record is marked as dirty since the SelectBooleanCheckBox knows only 2 values, true (1) or false (0).

  • The problem at popup_menu binding table

    Hello

    I'm the first attempt at coding a plugin for LR. I just did most of the work I need, but now I'm stuck with a delicate problem, I can't solve my self

    In a LrDialogs, I want to display a contextual menu (aka combobox) with a list of all the collection and collectionsand of the catalog.

    To retrieve the list of collection, I call getChildCollectionSets and getChildCollections recursively and put the results in a table. The problem is that I call them leave in a LrTask, waiting for the full main UI thread and so nothing appears in the drop-down list. It seems that the combo was built so that the table that bind the items property was empty and when it was settled the GUI was not be notified.

    Surely, I missed something... can point you in the right direction?

    Here's the code I'm using (just an example)

    local LrView = import 'LrView'
    local LrTasks = import "LrTasks"
    local LrBinding = import 'LrBinding'
    local LrDialogs = import 'LrDialogs'
    local LrApplication = import 'LrApplication'
    local LrFunctionContext = import 'LrFunctionContext'
    local LrStringUtils = import 'LrStringUtils'

    LrFunctionContext.callWithContext ("CollectionList", function (context)
              LrDialogs.attachErrorDialogToFunctionContext (context)

              local collectionsList = {}

              LrTasks.startAsyncTask(function ()
                        for key, child in pairs(catalog:getChildCollectionSets()) do

                                  local name = LrStringUtils.lower(child:getName())
                                  collectionsList[key] = { title = name, value = child.localIdentifier }
                        end
              end)

              local f = LrView.osFactory()

              LrDialogs.presentModalDialog {
                        title = "EasyWorkflow",
                        contents = f:row {
                                  f:row {
                                            f:static_text {
                                                      title = "Collections",
                                            },
                                            f:popup_menu {
                                                      items = collectionsList
                                            },
                                  }
                        }
              }
    end)

    Place the entire code - bringing together the collections by opening the dialog box - in a single task.
