  I tried other effects on the layer of regulation and they work

  is a bug?

  Just above the Cancel button is a blue link that says options.  Click on Options.  In the window that opens, click printer properties.  This should be the place to check the options you want.  Let me know if this helps or not.

  When you add an adjustment layer to a composition in After Effects, I am able to see the purple outline of the adjustment layer in the Composition.  I am able to change his size and rotation by changing the transformation options, but the video on the two layers under the adjustment layer does not change.

  You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
  Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
  on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

  Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure)
  CTRL + ALT + DELETE and on the tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - then
  on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is reached
  by tapping F8 as you start several times.

  Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
  That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the
  Difficulty. Often using a restore point or Startup Repair will have no effect. You can try a
  Google to see the proposed repairs, whom some have worked however these cover a wide
  field efforts.

  You have a Vista disk? You can try restoring the system to it. If you do not have your system disks
  manufacturer will sell them at low prices. Or try in safe mode if you can get there.

  I see that you would like to know the difference between grey and printing b & w.
  I'll be happy to help you.

  Basically, it prints in shades of gray.

  Save on ink also.

  You can change the setting in the print in grayscale driver.

  You would go into the Printers folder.
  Right-click on the printer, on the left, click printer properties.
  Click the paper/quality tab.
  Click on the button to advance down.
  Select the characteristics of the printer and enable or disable this gray scale.

  If you want to print a black and white document using black ink only, do one of the following according to
  your operating system. Depending on which printer you have.
  On Windows: Open the printer software, click on set preferences. On the paper/quality tab, click
  Advanced. Select black ink only in printing in grayscale in the drop-down list under printer
  Features.

  I'm having a problem with adjustment layers... Here's what works:

  -I can add an effect (blur) to a normal layer, and I see what he does in the preview window of model and when I made the film.

  What does not work:

  -J' I add an adjustment above all in the timeline layer, add an effect (blur) to this layer, but then nothing happens that neither in the layout preview window or the final rendered!

  I tried to move layers autour, allowing everything concerning the effects and which have not yet managed to get this working.

  After Effects 6.5 (old, I know... but it works exactly like the CS3 and others and takes only 150 MB of disk space.)

  Wow, this screenshot takes me way back.  Interesting to see that you are using the app in its old form.  I noticed OpenGL has been activated and restore thinking that could be the culprit, but the problem is ancient on the final, I doubt that this has nothing to do with it.  Although, in your render settings, if OpenGL is enabled, it might be the problem.  Have you tried to disable the OpenGL setting for your comp window?  It's a long shot, but thought I'd throw that out there...

• at idle, the screen go black and says cospla 1scr does not work

  When the computer is idle for long periods of time, the screen turns black with notice cospla-1SCR microsoft looking for correction does not. This happened for several months now.

  What program is it and can I remove it does not, and microsoft has no answers to fix it.

  I think the message is Lightn ~ 1.SCR. That would be a problem with the screen saver you have.

  Go to control panel of configuration, appearance and personalization or customization in Classic view, and then click Change screen saver and choose something else.

  I tested the project here.  The AL works very well at the 3:50 mark.  I clearly see the changes when I turn the power on and off layer.

  So I think that there is nothing wrong with the project itself, rather than the problem may lie with your system.

• Black and white option grayed Out

  I have a jpeg image that I want to apply a black and white adjustment layer and then ideally fade by about 50 percent to use as a background image.  However, when I try to apply the black and white adjustment layer option is grayed out.  Does anyone know why this is, and also how I can work around this problem?  It's not an image under copyright or anything like that.  This is a picture of our building that a former employee took years ago.

• Is there a convenient way to selectively apply the black and White Conversion?

  First of all, I know how to use the black and white adjustment layer and I am familiar with masking. What I want to do, it's something more complicated.

  When I convert a picture n & B, I often find that there are areas of the image that would benefit from a slightly different treatment than the rest. For example, I have a lot of foliage that I want to run by using the yellow and green Sliders, but maybe there's Green House which I want to clear up instead. Using a black and white layer adjustment I can't make this kind of decision as it effects the entire image. And other layers B & W setting on one has no effect because it has already been converted.

  My first thought was to use two different adjustment layers, one with a mask reversed on the other, but not only is it very clumsy (what happens when you need more of two sets of adjustments, but it always seems to be an area left along the border of the selected areas / unselected masks where some remnants of color.)

  Use B & W adjustment layer and mask areas that you want to assign. Set the blending mode to luminosity. then you can put a final above all convert to the true B & W.

  Infra red (and similar) techniques attempt to simulate the effect that would lead to the film when shooting a scene when you use a black and white film special and a filter. If your image is already black and white, there is no color for the technique to vary the density to simulate the IR black and white result. You start with a color image.

  I have an IMAC 10.8.1 operating system.  I can't get my 6700 HP to print only black and white.  Even when I choose black and white printing, it will not be printed like that.  I can't implement any new printing preferences.  Now, I'm unable to print anything and yellow ink.  Went and bought a new black ink and printer recognizes that black ink is full.

  The application that you are trying to print from, launch the print dialog box (file > print).

  Thanks for getting back to me.

  Here's how to adjust the color temperature:

  When you go to print a document, click on "Show details" (next, where it says PDF). Then click on 'TextEdit' and click on 'Type/quality paper.' From there, you can select the grayscale, black and white or color and toggle various levels of quality (Normal, Best project). If you use the grayscale function, you can choose just to use the black cartridge only.

  This is not a problem of IE.  Most likely a symptom of the use of the OS high-contrast mode accessibility option.   For example try to press LeftAlt + LeftShift + print to pass this parameter.
