    Yes, for application icons, for example, there is a new look "flat" missing the old outline and shadow

    Yes, Adobe is more supports Flash on mobile devices, BlackBerry (like other manufacturers of mobile phones) dropped Flash as well, since there is no support for it.

    I don't know for certain, but you could look at App World for Alpha browser and Browser10 to see if still support the Flash.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Flash Player

    I'm new to BlackBerry, but thought I was getting a good smart phone.  Now I find I can't read videos or news, etc. without Adobe Flash Player and it doesn't have an Adobe Flash Player available for the BB.  Is there a solution?  Or I have to get a phone smart wiith a windows operating system?

    Flash for phones support BlackBerry is apparently on the way. In the meantime, perhaps knowing that very few phones supported Flash. Many sites offer mobile versions, for example m.facebook.com where you can watch videos on your BlackBerry.

    I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Media Player is always auto-start

    I have a Curve 3 G (9330), software package version 6 2426, Media player version 6, storage space is free application 268,1 MB, storage card free media 3.5 GB space on 18.

    Whenever an event occurs on the device, plug in to charge, clear an alert, etc, Media Player starts to read MP3s that I have on the device.  Which setting I'm missing to disable auto-start?  I'd appreciate any help with this annoying and sometimes embarrassing incident.

    I think that I fell on the cause and the solution to my problem.  The software module of the multimedia player wireless sync has been active continuously.  Whenever an event has occurred on the device, it could trigger the function of wireless synchronization and automatically start playing the MP3 files available.  By removing the wireless synchronization module, media player does not start blasting music at the wrong time and in the wrong places.  Because I want to only synchronize with the music on my PC, it's no big deal to move manually the music files (USB) for the storage card from the BlackBerry.

    (4) approx. Bible (YouVersion)

    (5) PDF (no app display of PDF documents)

    (12) mSecure (portfolio secure notes - allows you to store notes, notes, accounts in a format encrypted with Dropbox sync)

    (13) Worldmate (app. tavel with ability to synchronize calendar)

    For some of the apps. If the Android app does not work, can you recommend above, native applications of BB 10 with similar functionality? Can a blink of light led (at the front of the phone) Z30 in different colors, if yes, what colors and can it be used by / controlled by other applications?

    Finally, the BB 10 can fully synchronize with Google and Hotmail? I have a Google and Hotmail account. I want to synchronize fully two accounts with Z30. I really want to buy a Z30, but this will depend on the answers to these questions. Thanks for your help. GOD bless you all.

    Are there

    Chrome did not
    Firefox won't work.
    Google Maps doesn't but BBMaps does the same thing and works more pleasant on the BlackBerry.
    Bible app has not tried
    PDF support is built into the Z30.
    Office Documents app is incorporated with Documents to Go
    Yes, Pandora
    LinkedIn has built in app
    YouTube integrates an app
    OneDrive is a dedicated application of BB
    Dropbox is a dedicated application of BB
    mSecure (Yes, but I think that you must have already purchased on an Android device to download.) BB comes with password Keeper built in. With OS 10.3 this fall, that I am sure that you will be able to buy it directly on the BlackBerry
    WorldMate is called BlackBerry Travel on BB devices.

    Google and Hotmail full syncs. Google dropped Exchange Active Sync for BB users, so you're left with IMAP, Mac OS x Server and Caldav sync that works, but not as beautiful as Exchange Active Sync. Hotmail works very well.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Media Player hangs up with 1-2 seconds to go, it recharges

    Help, please.
    I have a relatively new 8130 (Alltel): I have only had it a few weeks - and I'm having this problem. I play a song on media player, it crashes with 2 seconds to go. I force attacker / choose a 2nd song and the phone restarts, when it hits 2 seconds to go mark.

    I tried to use bluetooth / restart no bluetooth, reformat the media card, hard... I reformatted the card support several times, tried several music files (mp3 and wma), drag & drop and a Windows Media Player sync, deleted all my photos, all of the .dat files... I can't stop.

    Media Player was working fine when I got on the phone.  The only 'solution' that I found is to forcably stop the song before this ' moment magic hang ' and pass to another song on my own.  I can't let any song tries to go all the way, or as soon as he gets the second "Go to the end song"; whap, it restarts.

    It's really frustrating. I'm on v4.5.0.127 (because as far as I know that came with the phone.)
    I installed / uninstalled several 3rd party applications since getting the phone (and running on the problem of memory leak). Best I can do is ~ free 8Gig.

    I thought about it, after having to dig a little deeper on the forums.  My problem was the BB do not dig .wma files.  After reformatting the card and placement of nothing but the mp3 files on the phone, it works.

    ... now, I just re - rip my CD catalog...  (it's always something, no?)

  • BlackBerry Smartphones music player goes into mute after every song?

    Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me with a problem I have with my Storm 9530. Whenever I listen to music on it (which is most of the time), unless I'm actually in the form of playing under the application of the music, the sound cut when switching to another song. It is not only stop or pause playback; It actually cuts the song, so if I don't notice it happened for a few minutes, half of the song will be played and the sound does not return unless I increase the volume. Someone at - he heard of that happening before? I know it's a relatively minor issue, but it is rather annoying. She also can't when I'm listening via speaker - I have the problem if you are using the handset speaker or headphones.

    It didn't happen straight out of the box, either - it just started happening a few weeks after I loaded my music on it. I ran diagnostics/security analysis on my computer and on the media card, and both are free of malicious software or corrupted files. I called Verizon Wireless and their technicians could not offer anything that either short-term to Exchange my Storm for a new - I did, but, now, a few weeks after I had a new, I started having the same problem, so I think there must be a setting that I've accidentally changed - but I went through all the options and I can't find something that seems like it would be applicable.

    I really appreciate any insight or help someone of you can give. Thank you!

  • Difficulty playing the big audio files/streams.

    Hi all

    I have an app that plays media (audio/x-wav).  The application is configured to listen to and read the audio data from a web service.  After that audio plays for the first time, the sound will be saved on the device.  Whenever the audio selected is played later, he can read the stored file.

    Everything works fine, except when it comes to playing audio files.  When the Player tries to read the audio data from a big-InputStream, the application will take a few minutes to retrieve the stream and then the player will hit a State of 'ERROR', due to:

    "Media cannot start while another media is active"

    .  At this point, I did not open another medium, however.  Then when I try to play the audio again (this time this time locally from a stored FAT deposited (~ 5 MB), the application appears to hang - but it not to plant, it becomes just does more for about ten minutes.)  After ten minutes, the player will reach the State of "ERROR" an error of:

    "Unload failed: Timed out waiting for UD|LD"

    Has anyone else had similar symptoms when you try to play larger audio files?  What could be going on here?  Here is my code:

    Reading an input stream:

    try {
        Player player = Manager.createPlayer(responseData,"audio/x-wav");
        player.addPlayerListener(new PlayerManager());
        player.realize();
        player.prefetch();
        player.start();
    } catch (IOException e) {
        System.out.println("ERROR: " + e.getClass() + ":  "+ e.getMessage());
    } catch (MediaException e) {
        System.out.println("ERROR: " + e.getClass() + ":  "+ e.getMessage());
    }

    Reading a file:

    try {
        Player player = Manager.createPlayer("file:///SDCard/Blackberry/music/" + file);
        player.addPlayerListener(playerListener);
        player.realize();
        player.prefetch();
        player.start();
    } catch (IOException e) {
        System.out.println("ERROR: " + e.getClass() + ":  "+ e.getMessage());
    } catch (MediaException e) {
        System.out.println("ERROR: " + e.getClass() + ":  "+ e.getMessage());
    }

    PlayerListener:

    public class PlayerManager implements PlayerListener {

        public void playerUpdate(Player player, String event, Object eventData) {
            System.out.println("PLAYER EVENT: " + event);

            if (event == PlayerListener.ERROR) {
                Notify.alert(Constants.PLAYER_ERROR);
            } else if (event == PlayerListener.END_OF_MEDIA) {
                try {
                    player.stop();
                    player.close();
                    player = null;
                } catch (MediaException e) {
                    System.out.println("ERROR: " + e.getClass() + ":  "
                            + e.getMessage());
                }
            }

        }
    }

    Yet once again, I'd appreciate any help!

  • Problems capturing pictures about OS6 - East System.getProperty ("video.snapshot.encodings"); valid?

    Hello

    I hope someone can help with this query.

    I use the code that is very similar to the sample application camerademo to take a photo using the camera. It works properly on devices running OS5. However, on devices running OS6 photo is just an image of white/black.

    I think I followed the problem until the encoding string passed to getSnapshot(). When I switch which must be a valid encoding string (based on the output of System.getProperty ("video.snapshot.encodings")) the captured image is a black screen. However, when I pass null to getSnapshot() it works correctly. I want to avoid using null as the captured image is much more that I need and for reasons of effectiveness, I would like to avoid having to reduce its size after the capture of the photo.

    I tested this on the 9780 Simulator. The corresponding code is included below for reference.

    Thanks in advance!
