  I downloaded the last Google Talk for the BB AppWorld. When I try to connect, gtalk a message Service not to this compatible handheld. I enabled BIS, internet and wap are disabled by the carrier (O2 CZ - the data on them are paid extra).

  I tried to reinstall, get the service books, but nothing works for me.

  Any idea?

  Well... I found the resoultion on another page... It is in Czech http://www.blackberryweb.cz/?p=444 and follow the steps:

  1. backup your blackberry

  2. download the service book containing the gtalk http://www.blackberryweb.cz/?file_id=5

  3. in Blackberry Desktop Manager restore backup selectively from the file downloaded Service_Books.ipd

  4 return to service your provider directories (if some of your e-mail accounts are missing)

  5. possibly restart your Blackberry

  As O2 CZ guys told me that they will not support gtalk in the service books, this is only informal way how to get gtalk working with O2 CZ.

• Smartphones from blackBerry Desktop Software STILL wants to charge AppWorld, Google Talk, AOL IM, etc.

  I have Desktop 6.0.1.18 software.

  I uninstalled multiple applications that are for me junkware.

  However, whenever I am in Desktop Software, ALWAYS default to reload (for example "pending installation") at least six applications, including the AppWorld, Google Talk, AOL IM, etc.

  It is a major pain.

  This means that whenever I want to make changes to my applications, I first go through the full list of applications and disable those that I don't even want (there is no easy/fast way to do it).

  Is it possible to stop this behavior?

  I have a new 9780 by T-Mobile. I upgraded to a 8320 Curve, so I used the BBs for some time.

  I had a brief conversation with a T-Mobile Representative (in a call on another problem), and she had no idea what I was talking about and said that if she was in what concerns the desktop software, I had to communicate with BlackBerry.

  Finally, I got this problem.

  After that I downloaded and installed the software for the device from T-Mobile on my PC, even if it seems to be the exact same device software version (6.0.0.448), BlackBerry Desktop Software does more the six applications be loaded.  So for me, this problem is corrected.  I didn't even remove the COD files.

• Anyone who has used Google Talk yet? It's pretty good

  I've used them all the (Qik, Tango, Skype etc etc) ang Google Talk works best, as long as the receiver is connected to Gmail on Google Chrome. The lag is virtually free. It works really well. Talked to my kids with her while I was in the hospital. We have a Lifecam Cinema Webcam MSFT (1280 * 720) and QA & PQ are really good. Can try. Is not difficult to install.

  Before the Cam Xoom is not bad for Google Talk. Doesn't work well with IE, but works wonderful Google Chrome.

  I agree, it's video works better for me the Xoom, but only with g-mail and chrome on the other end as you said.

  Your BB10 device must be enabled on a server (Blackberry Enterprise Service) BES10 in order to have some balance BB.  It is not available otherwise.  If you are on a BES10 service from your company, see scientists responsible and let them know that it does not work on your device.

  I bought a new laptop with preinstalled Windows 7 and everything was fine until the Google Talk client suddenly crashed three days after installation. I tried Troubleshooting compatibility and under each available setting and it crashes. Deactivation of the Gtalk notifications as some proposed forum is no help either.   Apparently I was running both Gtalk and Winamp at the moment even where Gtalk came crashing.
  After the programs stop and Gtalk started again without opening Winamp, it works well now... we'll see, it's been 10 minutes and no problem happened again.

  I think that guest invite people to join gtalk and gmail in general.  I have a pending invitation too and I really don't think there is a way to get rid of them.  I even tried to understand the Web and has failed.  These are not invited to a specific chat session but invites you to gtalk, gmail, or as a friend.  Unless the person confirms or refuses to invite him, it seems that you cannot get rid of it.

  Transfer files via gtalk seems not possible, certainly not on the droid.  I'm new to gtalk and especially have been use it because he of on the phone and am familiar with how it works via a web interface.  Normally, you can transfer files?  I think that you want to transfer will be by e-mail because it is google all the partners.
