BlackBerry Q5 [peripheral switching] where are saved messages?

Dear blackberry support forum,

Recently, I went from a 9320 curve to a Q5 (using the blackberry link if I remember). However, I don't know where I can find saved messages (I had on my 9320) on Q5?

I'm sure it's something very simple, but I can not find them...

I would be grateful if you could help me.

Thomas.

Saved messages would be in a backup of the curve that you have done with the link. You'll need to plug your Q5 to your computer and restore this backup on your Q5.

If you are wondering how you can view these messages without restore them to your Q5, you can't unless you use special software. Otherwise, they are only visible from a BlackBerry phone.

I hope that helps you.

  • where are the message stored in Windows Vista Mail recipients who do not live in Contacts?

I like to use the Option. Send: automatically complete e-mail addresses when composing ' option.  Recently, it has become much less useful.  When I start typing in the To: field, it brings up addresses more than just those residing in Contacts.  I can't understand how to clear this cache of addresses everywhere where it is.

For example, when I type in 'mother' to automatically raise its address, it now shows a correct address (which IS in my contacts) and who is not.  He suggests the following options for recipients:

<*** email="" address="" is="" removed="" for="" privacy="" ***="">Dad or MOM <*** email="" address="" is="" removed="" for="" privacy="" ***="">(the 'i' is missing from 'gmail'.  Now, I don't know how this gmal on is here and don't know how to delete it.  I don't even think that is anyones email.  It is not in the Contacts under MOM, however, is the right on.  If I double click on the address "Nelly" after selecting it, I can't remove all information.  It gives the problem in his together does not change the chance to 'Add to Contacts' but even do it and then delete the contact.  The only thing I can understand is that there is a kind of address with the contacts cache. I wonder how to clear the email addresses of the recipients of these undesirable.  I can check for finish not automatically emails, but I lose these features.

Other info: it's just a normal PC usning windows vista mail and using the standard smtp e-mail server of Charter.  I am not connected to any directories active Directory and have only one PC on my local network.

  • I tried to move my saved messages in a folder in my documents, but instead, they simply disappeared. How to get back them? !!

Messages are / were stored apparently buried somewhere in the folder program files - I want to that they stored in my documents where they can regularly and easily be saved. I thought it was the base of messages probably wasn't, but where is it? And where are the messages?

    Now sorted, thanks.

  • Where are my saved messages?

II heard all my text messages are saved on the cloud or the iTunes Store. How can I find these messages?

They are saved whenever you make your backup. If you perform a backup of iCloud, they are in the cloud. If you are an iTunes backup, they are found on your computer. There are no backups in the iTunes Store. Where to find them, your backup is a special type of SQL file that is used for the specific purpose of restoration of an iOS device. You cannot browse the contents of your backup to/read your messages.

  • Where are stored e-mail messages Toshiba Windows 7?

I have a Toshiba L650 with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and Windows Live Mail.

Despite trying all types of repair of Toshiba, can't do Windows and so my computer at startup (I think I downloaded a virus). I intend to transfer data to a memory stick, then use Toshiba's Format hard disk to reinstall my OS partition on the hard drive.

I can only enter in the * DOS command prompt *. So far, I've manually laboriously saved all my * DATA * to a memory stick using the DOS 'copy' command Now I need to copy all my * EMAIL * on the memory stick.

Please can someone tell me the FULL DIRECTORY PATH where e-mail messages are stored. It will be of no use telling me 'click on this menu, and then click Properties' etc because I have NO ACCESS at all at all the menus, not to mention access to the operating system.

One I found the emails I have will copy them to the directory using the command 'Copy' command prompt on the memory stick and then reformat and reinstall the operating system.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Stand by.
I put t know what is the problem with your laptop, but you can boot OS in safe mode?

Moreover, Toshiba has nothing to do with these emails. Windows Live Mail is Microsoft.
Good location should be C:\Users\login\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail

  • I compacted my messages. Messages from 17/01/2012 to 01/04/2012 are not in my Inbox and I didn't remove them where are?

    Out Look express

I compacted my messages. Messages from 17/01/2012 to 01/04/2012 are not in my Inbox and I didn't remove them where are?
Two reasons the most common for what you describe is disruption of the compacting process, (never touch anything until it's finished), or bloated folders. More about that below.

Why OE insists on compacting folders when I close it? :
    http://www.insideoe.com/FAQs/why.htm#compact

    Why mail disappears:
    http://www.insideoe.com/problems/bugs.htm#mailgone

    Recovery methods:

If you are running XP/SP3, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.

To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.

Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.

First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.

If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.

If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.

If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:

DBXpress run in extract disc Mode is the best chance to recover messages:
    http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/default.aspx

A general warning to help avoid this in the future:

Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

  • Smartphones blackBerry how to remove an email 'saved' from your torch? (I'm constantly four new messages on the phone all the time and can't get rid of them!)

    Hi all

I am somewhat a dufus and a few minutes ago has managed to highlight four emails (that I had intended to remove a small group), but managed to click on the "SAVE MESSAGE" by mistake. (Touch screens, bloody!)

It has a small window saying "BACKUP MESSAGES", and since then, even if later I deleted the four emails, have a permanent icon red STAR on two of my email accounts, which indicates that there is a session of NEW MESSAGES waiting to be read - but are not everything.

Also - at the top of the screen on the home page of the torch, in the same vein where the SOUNDS and the GLASS GROSSISSANT icon, I constantly for the symbol for 4 EMAILS sitting there, which usually only appears when there are actually four new e-mails waiting to be read. When I actually select the email icon, it only shows nothing - it's because there is NO NEW MESSAGES!

Jeezzz... It was like him for 20 minutes, but he's really starting to annoy me! I did a power of battery pull reset hoping that it would open up when it re-initialized - but he didn't. The * beep * things me are still there watching. It seems that I have now deleted these four emails I've "saved", that I now can't access it to "possibly" the.

Oh, and I do not use Exchange or something like that. I just got a bog standard torch, which simply reads a number of my POP email accounts Therefore, they are not saved on a Server Anywhere, as they were (at least 2 days) old emails that were downloaded on my computer for a long time and are no longer sitting on a server anyway - so God only knows where they have in fact been saved to.

    Help!

HM.  Good, I don't save my messages, but let's try it.

Open a folder of messages, press the BB menu button and select view folders.  There must be a folder for saved messages available.

In Firefox under the "Bookmarks" tab, I have 'Favorites' Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Where the "Favorites" in Internet Explorer are saved (path) on the hard drive? Where are the "Favorites" Mozilla Firefox saved (path) on the hard drive?

Firefox 3 stores bookmarks and the browser history in places.sqlite and either creates a backup default HTML.
There are also backups JSON (five) in the bookmarkbackups folder in the Firefox profile folder.

    Hello

I just bought a new computer that has windows 8 installed above and I must say that I was shocked when I realized that the system is like that running a pad that is so bad, if you want to actually work with the computer.

Then, I installed Skype and was amazed that there is nothing that you can do with it. No video call?

I use Skype to send files and make video calls. Now, when someone sends me a file I have no choice where this file is saved... Where are the files stored?

    OS: Windows 8

    Thank you

type in your windows search bar

    '%AppData% '.
then you will go to the folder "Skype".
and there will be a folder with "my received files."
