mmmm maybe you should try to reinstall (uninstall, restart the pc and install) Office Manager

Disconnect the battery a re try after the smarthphones begins.

Are you connected to the network of Blacberry?, you can send messages BBM?, if you're not, maybe you could try once connected to the network of Blacberry, your network must mean EDGE, 3 G or GPRS signal.

    Hi Srinivas_akyana,

Please copy paste a file downloaded in your memory card from the device.

& access on your devcie, you will find a folder name OC2007 > there will be a lot of folder inside, so you must select the folder according to your OS devcie (suppose you have 7 OS and then open the for_7.0.0 folder > click file .jad of the language in which you want to install the application (suppose you want English choose so oc2007_700_en.jad))

Once you click the .jad file, it will prompt you to download and install the application.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones support with upgrade to OS5 on curve 8520

    Hi all

I use an unlocked bb curve 8520 version and want to upgrade my bb device os to v5.0. (current version - 4.6.1)

I tried to use the application on the site of bb loader (NA & India both), but it tells me that my OS is updated and I will advise if there are updates available. I would be really grateful if someone could help me to update my operating system.

    Hello

Your warranty is not threatened. You are free to use any bundle of BONES of carriers on your BB. However, your carrier may refuse to provide assistance (including the warranty/service evaluation) until drop back you to their level supported device operating system. But your guarantee in itself is not threatened.

    Good luck!

Please do not use foul language.

Operating system device provided are "released" by specific carriers once that they are certified and trained to their support technicians, but still, you are able to load any carrier the same model by following the instructions below. Apparently '3' is not from the same upgrade as O2.

See the link below to download and follow the simple installation instructions to install 6.0.0.668 in your 9300 OS.

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=D840CC5D906C3E9C84374C8919D2...

    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

Note: Some users may be concerned they will void their warranty of device by loading an OS from another carrier. There is really nothing to fear. Please read more information about it here: http://www.port3101.org/power-users/296-blackberry-os-upgrade-including-betas-myths-dispelled.html

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to level of 9000 "BOLD"

    Hi all...

I want to improve my Blackberry Bold 9000...

How to upgrade my BB B 9000?

    My current v4.6.0.303

You want to 'upgrade' your phone, as to get a newer model or you want to "Refresh" your phone, such as to load a new operating system on it?

If you want to update, a good way to do that is using BlackBerry Desktop Software.  If you have not installed on your PC, go to the www.blackberry.com/desktop of your browser.  Once you have installed, connect your phone to your PC with a USB cord and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Click device at the top of the software, then update after that.  If your carrier offers a new version of the OS, it will appear in the Desktop software and you can load it on your phone.

    I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to change Pocket firmware to the longer version

    Hello

I have a BB 8800 (T-Mobile) and I tried to update the current firmware (4.2.1.101) to the current version of the OS. I went on the website of T-Mobile and found that there was some old version (4.2.1.74) installed on my handheld.

So, I did the following. I checked all the door on this page and found that Orange UK offer handheld version 4.5 for BB8800.

I downloaded the site of Orange UK 4.5 software. Installed on my PC.

Remove the PROVIDER. XML file is located at:
    C:\Program Files\Common Motion\AppLoader\VENDOR search. XML

After that, I have connected my laptop to the PC and run Blackberry Desktop Manager.

And it updated my computer OS to pocket the 4.5.0.52

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to download the manual from a mobile browser?

Hi, I have a simple question, how can I download pdf mamual, ideally in Czech language on my mobile phone using my mobile browser? Can someone give me a step by step tutorial?  When you go to the Blackberry web using the mobile browser, I see a mobile version of web sites and there is no way how to upgrade to version full... Thanks for help Dan

I finally found a way how to enter the manual section for a mobile browser. The only way I've found is to hack the browser and change the user agent string, then the server will think that I use the regular desktop browser... In this regard, I would like to say that it is more useful to say that something is not possible rather than say nothing. This would save me a lot of time and frustration trying to figure out how to do this. In my view, there is planty space for improvement on your mobile web pages...

  • How to upgrade Dev C alpha to the latest version

    Hi guys

the latest OS update version available for Dev Alpha C is 10.1.0.1485. (https://developer.blackberry.com/blackberry10devalpha/devalpha_update.html)

However, actual devices can be updated to 10.1.0.4181. As far as I know dev devices alpha can only be updated through automatic charger provided here: https://developer.blackberry.com/blackberry10devalpha/devalpha_update.html

BlackBerry link or update on the device in the settings menu is not possible for alpha machines.

Does anyone know how to upgrade the alpha machines to the latest version of the OS that is available for actual devices?

Use this: OS10 upgrade using the automatic charger devices

  • How to upgrade the Switch application icon

    Hello

I'm working on a UiApplication in Java that runs in the background all the time.  I need support the 7290, some 8,000 s and the "BOLD".  The screen resolution is very different between the 7290 and "BOLD" and the icon that looks good on the 7290 seems jerky on the "BOLD". And the icon that seems good on the "BOLD" is not full screen on the 7290, and we know, that there is a problem.  So, I followed the information contained in these two links to update my icon based on that screen resolution that we, to make my icon looks good no matter what device has a user.

BB in Knowledge Center article - how to set an icon of overview

BB Forum of Discussion on the overview icon

Now on the 7290, I use an icon of size 32 x 32 pixels and on the "BOLD", I use an icon of size 64 x 64 pixels.  I know that 64 x 64 is not the recommended size for the "BOLD"... and it looks better for what I do.

OK, so to enter some details, I have a main entry point, which has an icon associated with it (which is the icon that I have 'default', you can tell).  And it's the icon of my startup code updates (via HomeScreen.updateIcon (getHomeScreenIcon (), 0) and is what you see in the Applications folder (or on the main Menu, depending on what device, of course).)  And on the menu, when you click this icon, it brings my application in the foreground and here we go. It works just as advertised and is great.  I have the icon on the right showing on the right screen resolutions.  No problem.

Is then where I run into trouble.  I have another point of entry, who calls my startup code and gets my application running in the background.  It has an associated icon also (once again just the icon I want 'default' before I can get the Update icon.  It is the icon that can be found on the Ribbon for switching applications (when the user presses ctrl-esc).

And once again, in my startup code, I try to use - HomeScreen.updateIcon (getHomeScreenIcon (), 3); -Please note the different entry point number that corresponds to this entry point.  I checked the CAP file to determine the correct entry point number and this update still does not take effect.  I also tried each number from 1 to 5, no chance.  I can't get this icon to update.

How to upgrade the icon that appears on the Ribbon for switching applications?  And if I can't be updated for a reason, how can I specify a different icon for different screen resolutions?

    Thank you, Tara

    PS. I use JDE 4.1.0.185, simulators and devices of 7290, 8100, 8300, 9000 (Bold).

The issue of the HomeScreen.updateIcon do not update the icon displayed in the application of task switch has been resolved in BlackBerry handheld software version 4.7.0.  The only work-around from earlier versions is to have several versions of the application that are built with different application icons.
