BlackBerry Smartphones calendar appointment tones

I FOUND THE SOLUTION!

When my appointment is coming up, programmed 10 min, I get a vibration but no dial tone. How can I add a tone as well as the vibrations? I think that adding a tone or not, should be available when you enter the appointment information. Try as I might I can't find how do.

I'm generally pretty well to that sort of thing, but I must say that this CURE is not intuitive as it could be.

Any help will be appreciated

Thank you

snowfan,

profiles - advanced - active profile - second option is calendar you can set tones for your appointments/reminders on case.

Let me know if this helps or you can't find it.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones calendar appointment start times

This is the first time I use the BlackBerry forum in the hope that someone can solve a problem I have.  I am a user of storm and have not been able to find a way to get new appointments in the calendar set up for the actual start time, rather than the 15-minute interval that seems to be the only option.

Does anyone know if it is possible on the 9530 Storm to set up meetings with an actual start time instead of just a quarter of an hour the closest?  Have not been able to find this solution everywhere.  Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

You can override the increments... instead click on the top and down arrows, just enter the numbers you want (you may have to show the keyboard if it is not already displayed).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones calendar events

The only issue I'm having is with my calendar of events. Those that I've marked as 'all day' in iCal find strange on the bb. They are not marked all day on the bb. They run from 05:00 until 23:59... Any idea whats up with that?

I used to have this problem with the synchronization of previous programs. If all data is mirrored on both sides before doing synchronization, click on advanced settings (with calendar) and then select "replace all the events calendar on the BlackBerry smartphone. That should fix things for you! Subsequent synchronizations should work as expected.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones new appointment requests show that no email not request calendar

I'm looking to see if anyone has this problem or know of a fix for Outlook meeting requests. I have a BB Bold 9780 running 6.0. When users send me a new Outlook appointment request, it's my device as a new email and I don't have the option to accept/decline the appointment. I can only functions normal e-mail (forward, reply, etc.).

If the request is for a meeting, then everything works fine. I use Outlook 2010.

According to Ms. appointment is point specific to a user, while the meetings are used to invite the other parties. However, you can invite other people to appointments.

I could solve this problem by signing to Outlook through OWA and under Options, settings, calendar, I checked the box to automatically place new meeting request on my calendar, marked as provisional.

As soon as I did any calendar meeting request or an appointment came to my BB as a request for calendar and I could accept/reject the as usual.

  • Alarm Audible's blackBerry Smartphones by appointment calendar for the curve

Is it possible to add an alarm to a reminder of the appointment to the calendar function. At present, it appears a Visual message, but no beep or ring or anything. I searched this forum and see many people ask, but not answers. Can we do? I have a Curve 8320.

If you go to your profiles, click the trackball and scroll up to where is says advanced (spent at sea). Click the trackball, and then select one of your profiles (e.g., normal). When it is highlighted in blue, click the trackball. You should see a menu scroll down to change, and then click the trackball. You will see a list, and the second high is calendar. If you highlight and click the trackball on the calendar, you can choose all kinds of options for your calendar on how it should notify you of the appts. Hope this has helped.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones an appointment from the office, two for the handheld

When I enter a new appointment in Outlook, it syncs wirelessly on my pocket computer.

When I enter a new appointment on my laptop it does not sync wireless. When I sync with Desktop Manager, it appears in Outlook, but appears twice on my handheld, once in the calendar for my [email protected] account (which appears on outlook) and again in my desktop calendar.

Parameters: I use the blackberry enterprise server to an MS Outlook, MS Outlook Exchange Server server.

To the title of the default services options - advanced options - my calendar CICAL is [email protected]. (CMIME messaging is also [email protected], but Contact SYNC cannot Desktop)

How to remove duplicates? In the advanced - backup and restore - Office Manager, I can erase 'calendar', but ' calendar - all "is grayed out and cannot be erased.

How can I prevent a double nomination to appear?

Why are there only wireless sync go from Outlook on your handheld?

This has been resolved by wiping the Pocket clean and restore BES sync. I no longer use the USB sync port.

I did not know that the BES is named "Desktop" on the handheld; I created separately to receive messages from [email protected] , and this resulted in duplicate messages.

  • The blackBerry Smartphones calendar reminder

When I had my BlackBerry Curve 8310, in April, everything worked as it should. Eventually, I realized that the callback on the calendar function does not turn off. I didn't change the settings, it just doesn't work... any suggestions or ideas?

Have you tried a battery pull? If not, remove the battery with the phone on and leave it for 30 seconds. Replace and let the phone restarts. 1-3 minutes. Make a new appointment for a few minutes now and see if it warns you.

  • Disappear over blackBerry Smartphones calendar items in 60 days

I have a Curve 8330 running OS 4.5.0.186. I sync with Outlook 2007. In the synchronization options, I check "all synchronization events" or something like that. I have 3 calendars on my computer mapped to sync the BB, my personal calendar and 2 archived calendars. During the synchronization process, he sees all the events of 2000 + on my desk and doesn't give me an error message. But after I unplug and check my BB, only the last 60 days of events are there (plus all future events).

I tried to do a one-way synchronization from office to BB and it works. But then the next time I have sync, all old events disappear without telling me. They have simply disappeared.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello noahhadas,

Looks like your BlackBerry calendar is not defined to keep old appointments forever.

Open your calendar on your BlackBerry. Press the Menu key and go to Options. Under the general Options, scroll to the bottom under Actions and see what is by appointment to keep . If it does not say "Forever", you will have to change to reflect this title (since you have the elements of transfer to the application in the configuration of the synchronization)

KB19492 talk more about this in the BlackBerry Technical Solution Center.

This is how it is built?  If Yes, do you have a recommendation to the calendar can be brought into a meeting and share other people at the meeting?
    Thanks to all helpers

If you don't have a BlackBerry data plan on your line?  If so, that's the problem.  And that's why you don't have service books.

Service books set up many things on older BlackBerry models.      The prompt calendar point is by sending them to others or accepting or rejecting the prompt you receive and the response is sent to the sender.   This feature is enabled by the directories of service for each email that you configured as an ENCORE.

I assumed that an invitation from calendar (meeting request), that's what you try to do it.  If this isn't the case, please provide details.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Loud ring tone

I migrated to a Moto Q to a Blackberry 8330.  The Q had a "Trill" ringtone that was strong enough so that I can hear.  Can anyone recommend an unpleasant ringing, or no one knows where the ringing of the trill, who hails from the Q?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Well, you can choose music you hate and make a ring tone

On your BB you configure to use the FORT profile and put all your tones for the great?

If so and you do not always hear them, I would go on the site of the carrier that had the obnoxiouz of trills and see if

they sell it as a ringtone. Is must be in the proper format. In fact, here a list of the formats supported for the BB.

  • Help blackBerry Smartphones calendar

I have a new curve from Sprint.  I don't have MS Outlook to Lotus notes.  The calendar I used was the Palm.  Anyone know if I can synchronize or import palm appointments into the calendar to blackberry?  If not, is there a software calendar that I can buy and use that would sync which is less expensive than MS outlook?  I want a program that is on my desk so I can use the largest key board and easily synchronize with my blackberry.

Try using the switch device Wizard to import information from Palm on the BlackBerry

On the issue of the calendar, you can use the Google calendar and sync with your BlackBerry. If you have not already you can sign up for a gmail account. Then you can use Google Sync to sync this calendar with the BlackBerry calendar

Which Application should I get it maybe is a free Application.

    Hello!

You don't need a different application. With your calendar display, press the BB (the button to the right of the green phone button), and then select Options > General Options. The second and third entries will allow you to set the hour you want to display on your calendar.
