BlackBerry Smartphones E-mails from gmail is not on Blackberry

Because I had problems with my other email account, I recently "moved" my correspondence email business to my gmail account, I had rather used as a backup before. I had both my accounts put in place on my blackberry and I remember them both increased and works well, but I cannot say with certainty that I have rarely received emails on gmail.

The problems I have now (I had also, at the same time re - configure my blackberry, but everything should be ok now) is that the gmail account is not working properly after the installation. At first, it seemed to work pretty well, but now it's extremely erratic, at best, with a few emails that crosses and their reception by the blackberry, not at all and if yes with a delay of up to a few days (!).
This makes the combination of my now main mail to gmail account and my blackberry on which I rely heavily for communication when I'm out of the House completely unusable.

I have heard and read (even if for the most part in internet posts that are a few years old) it seems to be a problem running with gmail and blackberry accounts. Is - this irreparable?

Is there a solution?

If all else fails, use a new account (new) would be the only alternative left - which would be a messaging provider that matches 100% with the blackberry e-mail program?

Thank you very much!

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

2) Remove and return Service books

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

3) restart

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts.

In addition, with GMail, you must be sure to have a good setting inside GMail. Via PC/browser, you control what GMail is facing the internet for your account (POP, IMAP, or both). I always recommend that you turn OFF POP and turn on IMAP in Gmail. Then set up fresh for your BB and you will have the 'best' available (IMHO) settings for GMail.

Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support. What you describe certainly shouldn't happen on a regular basis (even if we must all accept the intermittent nature of everything on the internet).

Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones you reply to e-mails from Gmail

Hi, I just bought my bb9700 and I've been tinkering with the emails autour. Here's my query. I have a two addresses that are delivered to a single Gmail address. I've added the main Gmail account to the blackberry and I am able to receive emails from different addresses. The problem is, I can't respond to the email to the original e-mail address that was sent. To clarify, [email protected] is my main account, where the other two emails are sent and I [email protected] and [email protected] that just sent someone in an email to [email protected] and I received it by using [email protected]. I would like to know if I'm able to play again this person using [email protected]. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

You can send an email via an e-mail account that has been configured as an ENCORE. Thus, if the gmail account is doing the reception of B and C AND B and C are not actually configured on your BB, then you cannot answer B or C because has is the one who is actually configured on your BB. You need to set up B and C on your BB in order to have available as a send for help... but... you will also find that BBs limited responses only through the account to receive the BB. So, if you continue to have a reception, so even if you set B and C, only one answer you via. You have BIS allows to receive and manage each of them in order to meet an email that came into B through B.

I, too, have several GMail accounts that I use. Instead use the integration of BIS, I use Google GMail app module has provided... It integrates all of my GMail accounts, offering me a simple interface that allows you to deal with them. Each of them is separated. Compromise is that you cannot use your BB contacts list nor can you come from an email with an attachment. The advantage is that I don't have a single GMail icon on my BB homescreen - inside the application, I have the ability to switch between all GMail accounts. The other advantage is 100% synchronization between the server of GMail and my BB, including old items (which provides a BIS never).

These compromises are not acceptable, you should probably stop GMail internal transfer of B and C to A and rather configure each separately inside the BIS. You will have an icon for each GMail account, more they will remain involved within Messages.

    Best.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB seems to pull mail from Gmail Spam folder - can I stop this?

    Hello

I just install my BB to access Gmail (I have no BlackBerry, only Gmail email address), and at least a few spam emails has managed to get through.

Is it possible that the service BB pulled e-mails out of the junk e-mail folder? If Yes, can I prevent this?

    Thank you!

Ah, never mind - I just got another such spam mail - and guess what:

Gmail doesn't have it recognized as spam, so he went to the Inbox - this is why I got it!

The junk mail folder do NOT get pushed to the BB, so I'm good :-)

    Sorry about that.

But at least now this post may be useful for others who could make the same mistake I did...

    Thanks for the reply, if!

  • BlackBerry smartphones transfer mail from blackberry to outlook - exchange problem

    Hello

We have a probelem yesterday with our Exchange, some may have been delete in Outlook, but there are still on the blackberry, I watch the desktop software but I don't see anything.

I wish I could move the email from the blackberry to Outlook

is there an easy way to do this?

A couple of VP are waiting for me

    Thanks for your help!

Hmmm... so, you have already successfully migrated messages to a non - BES BB. Ok. So that is totally disconnected as well Exchange Outlook? I wish I could test this for you... I thought there was a way to make the BB 1-way synchronization to Outlook. But, even once, I him didn't so that's all the theory right now... your work will prove it or not.

Hmmm... Maybe the synchronization isn't the best way. The file IPD that you used to migrate data from the real BB to this non - BES BB... this file is not natively readable by anything other than the desktop software from RIM (to be used for the restoration). But, I have heard (but never used) 3rd party applications that can analyze the file and extract information. Maybe you can get those? The only one I remember is ABC Amber Converter (or something like that)... but I don't know if it is available. You might find something (probably not free) who might get what you need from the IPD file however.

    Good luck!

The emails in the Inbox are displayed normally, but when I try to open an e-mail, it's as if there is nothing there... print screens below:

    Using Adblock Plus?

There is a list of ABP filters that block too in Gmail. Turn off ABP to Gmail to check which is the problem.

  • How can I re - download my e-mails from Gmail?

I had a failure of the drive (XP SP3) and have now charged an old copy of my complete system including Thunderbird - it works fine. I then 'marked' my recent emails in GMail as "Unread" and placed in his Inbox, but they don't download. I don't see an option in the settings of Thunderbird for re POP Server - download. Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you.

When you set up an e-mail account POP that they are often left on the server. It is IMAP mail with the synchronization server accounts. If your email is stored on gmail webmail, you can set up your email account with IMAP on Thunderbird and gmail messages will be downloaded to Thunderbird.

  • When changing POP, IMAP, pop emails downloaded existing can be merged/synchronized with the mails from Gmail original online?

Were download my emails via POP since 2006, I now turn to IMAP. Is it possible that the downloaded POP emails can be associated with the original corresponding emails in Gmail so that I don't have to download about 10 years worth of emails via IMAP?
    Thank you!

    The short answer is no.

  • Thurderbird e-mail account configuration is not grateful Gmail 2 unactivated verification step

I'm trying to set up Thunderbird with a Gmail on OSX (Macbook Pro) Mavericks. I have not step 2 audit enabled in Gmail, I have my active IMAP email, I am sure and PW are correct, but I still get the following error message:

Configuration cannot be verified - is the name of user or wrong password?

    Thank you.

"In addition, access to less secure applications options is currently disabled."

Must be enabled for Thunderbird work. In the new Google don't do harm playbook that has the boots of jack and big dollars Thunderbird and each client desktop in the world e-mail is a "LESS SECURE" APPLICATION. Why, because they seem to think oauth2.0 for the web is a protocol for authentication of messages. Unfortunately, it is difficult to say a gorilla 2000lb they have their head in a wrong place. Shades of Microsoft around 2000. Maybe it's time for the churn great mail from Gmail to Hotmail and Yahoo, which both do a better job at this time.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not get contacts from gmail account * of * BB (OK I think the reverse)

Just got my torch last day... first BB for me. I've enabled IMAP on gmail account and went through routine quick (online) which allows for the BB. I saw that the synchronization of contacts has been checked and when I finished to activate the account on the BB it seemed I could see some sort of sync in progress, BUT it seems he went only one way which is BB FOR online gmail account. Thus, the 300 contacts email on my online gmail account did not go to the TORCH.

These contacts, I can see on my Torch are the 52 I had brought through Outlook a few days earlier using Blackberry Desktop V6 with the torch that is physically connected to the laptop.

I have checked the filters and I see PERSONAL and BUSINESS, and both are disabled.

I don't know if it's related but I think I've noticed in the short time I used the TORCH display new emails from gmail in question account, I would have thought that the sender's e-mail address would have been automatically added to the 52 "existing" BB Contacts, but always just the original 52.

Where these 300 gmail contacts will, if they met, at the TORCH.

    Any ideas?

    Hey Copperbeech,.

I looked into this question for you, currently Gmail contact limits of wireless synchronization and synchronize only the 'My contacts' and does not synchronize the "all Contacts". A possible work around that would be to copy the contacts to "my contacts".

    I hold that this aid.

  • BlackBerry® Smartphones sending E-mail from a PC to BBM?

Is there a simple way to send someone a BBM message by e-mail from a PC or something else? I think perhaps using an e-mail address with the identification number of the user followed by a domain name, something like "[email protected]" or something like that?

    No, this is not possible.

  • BlackBerry 8330 smartphones cannot receive e-mail from the ISP

I tried and tried to set up my own domain mail server to receive e-mail. I even picked up the phone to Sprint and they tried, but we are unable to read incoming messages. Sending works fine.

I think that I followed it to down to the fact that I use the mail server's 'pop' in the name if the Blackberry Internet Service thinks its an IMAP4 e-mail account, it is not. My server name is "mondomaine.fr", without mail or pop in front of the name. I can't understand how to change this setting advanced since the Blackberry or on the site of Sprint, even though I see the setting as IMAP4.

    Any ideas?

It turns out that the firewall on my Blackberry settings were set to block all messages from BIS. I had removed the battery because of a condition of hanging a few months ago, and I guess that this reset that firewall setting. If I wasn't a geek, I never would have figured this out and Sprint and this forum was no help at all.

Thought I'd know others where they have the same problem. You need to go to Options > Security Options > firewall > and look for the check mark next to Blackberry Internet Service and uncheck the box. Then save. E-mail started downhill a few minutes.
