BlackBerry Smartphones how not to receive certain email

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how not to receive email on blackberry?

I use my BB as a phone on top of using it to send/receive emails.

Is there a a way to stop receiving emails (for example on the Weekend or after office hours) but still using the BB as a phone?

Ideally I would be able to automatically turn off receipt of mail for example 20:00 to 07:00.

    Thank you.

Well, you can disable all data on the device, if you intend to use ONLY the function - no internet or phone applications such as weather or new applications or the browser. This isn't what I would do.

You forgot to put your BlackBerry model number, so that your location of settings might be different from what I write below...

Manage connections > Mobile Network Options > Data Services = OFF, then save.

or, Options/settings > Mobile network > Data Services = OFF, then save.

Now, when you turn back on Data Services, you (should) get ALL the email and messages you are missing during data = outside the time period.

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to stop receiveing messages from email account?

Hi have a new 8110 pearl.  I got it through AT & T.  I have it configured through BES.  I get e-mails from work through the BES.  I experience personal and updated messaging in place to receive emails from my email account staff earthlink.  I decided that I do not like this upward since I can't configure the BB for work and personal emails go to separate folders (staff who goes to a separate folder and the e-mail folder and work emails go to the general folder only).

In any case, I want to delete the earthlink e-mail account in the BB.  I removed it since the whole book, but I still get emails?

No idea how to fix this so that the emails stop earthlink showing upward?

    Thank you.

Go to the e-mail settings icon on your home screen. Sign in using the username and password (if passoword used when setting the initial configuration).  Go to Email accounts to the service and click on the button Delete in the email ID you want to delete.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not get my yahoo email for work

    Hello

After the death of the battery from my Blackberry 9360, I just bought a new 9720 two days ago in Dubai, thinking that I can just put the same SIM card (from the 9360) of my Swisscom Mobile operator in the new 9720, and I can just continue to receive emails from my yahoo email account. But it does not work.

Apres_que I set up the yahoo email account under the function of setting on the new 9720, the account is listed with Yahoo symbol in the e-mail... accounts where you can then choose "add another email address" or "back to the setup"). But the 'E-mail accounts' icon (in the Setup, where it lists the different features you can configure outside e-mail accounts) doesn't idicate (with one (1) next to him), who has an e-mail account has already been set up. When I try to compose an e-mail, I get the message "no message services configured. You will be redirected to the Setup Assistant to configure your e-mail account "."

If I click on ok to continue in this direction, it brings me to the email accounts screen that shows the already created Yahoo e-mail account. If I try to recreate the yahoo account, I get the message that "this account has already been added to your BlackBerry Internet Service". But obviously my yahoo email account does not work because I can't write or receive messages.

According to your post KB05000, I remove my email yahoo [CMIME] account in the service book, but I noticed there is a second book of service of Internet Service to my yahoo email account that ends with [CICAL]. I wonder if this has nothing to do with it and that I should remove this as well?

    Thanks in advance.

    Jens

CMIME is messaging (email) and CICAL is calendar.

Yahoo! has had some problems in recent months. It might actually be a problem with them and nothing to do with BB. I can't say for sure, however.

  • Not to receive certain emails!

Hello. I noticed that when I shop online, email for my details of billing and shipping and others, is no longer get sent to me.

At first, I thought it was the fault of websites, but then I ordered from another site (amazon) and even they don't send anything. This isn't their fault, because now many sites aren't writing me these.

It's strange that I continue to receive all other types of email as standard. Please help, I really need these emails.

If you receive mail from some sources but not others, it is likely, the problem is either on what you enter as e-mail address on sweb sites or at the transmitting end.  The first thing to check is if the messages reach your Inbox mailbox.  Connect to your mailbox with your web browser when you believe a message he should receive and check the Inbox server.  If you see the expected message, then you have a problem of e-mail client.  If you do not, then the problem is external to your e-mail client.  Also check if there is a Spam folder or junk mail on the server and if the messages are there.

What type of e-mail (POP, IMAP, Hotmail/Live, etc) account and what e-mail client, if (like Windows Mail) don't you use?

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not disconnect from the email it Please HELP

I got the phone from a friend at work and I took it for the sprint and he was handed to zero and all, but I still get emails from the last email from people, and he sends letters electronic that too. HELP PLEASE!

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

While the BB has been reset, the BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) account was not. BIS is that control e-mail accounts that are part of the BB. A feature of BIS, is that, when a BB is reset, BIS pushes down messaging configurations. So, what should happen is that your friend needs to talk to Sprint and have the account BIS also reset, erasing the integrated e-mail accounts. Oh and by the way the account on you so that you can set up your own email on the BB.

    Good luck!

I have two email from business enterprise server and a personal email account (bellsouth.net), Setup on my 9300.  The business enterprise e-mail and my phone log message under my regular icon "messages".  Personal messaging appears under the normal message icon and a 2nd message (envelope with a small globe) icon.

    I want to:

    1. keep my business and personal email accounts completely separated under different icons.

2 stop logging to my phone calls under the "messages" icon

    3. check my personal email only when I ask to, not automatically.

If anyone can help with this?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jay.

Open your folder Messages > Options > settings for the Inbox and you will see boxes letters to include in your main folder, and those who separate from your main folder.

2 stop logging to my phone calls under the "messages" icon

Open your call log by pressing the green call button > Options > Call Logging and Prépliez any registration.

    3. check my personal email only when I ask to, not automatically.

Is not possible. E-mail BlackBerry of RIM's push and pull not. You cannot set a schedule or do it manually.

I am a new user... BB has the same e-mail address as desktop. All office emails automatically to my BB. I want to stop this automatic function and IF I want the emails to go to the BB then I turn it on. In general, I'll go a few weeks without checking my BB for email I read all in the office. So, what should I do my BB to turn off and turn the emails from my desktop computer... ?

You want to disable the redirect... or on the HH under Messages > Options > e-mail settings, you want the value 'Send Email to handheld' no.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not connect BlackBerry Pearl 9105 for PC

    Hello world

    I have the following problem:

After using my BB Pearl 9105 for almost 3 years, I can not connect to PC more (I still menu with choice of 3 options on my smartphone when I connect, but when I click on that option "usb" or "charge", the menu appears again).

In addition, the PC does not recognize my smartphone as a usb device. Updated BlackBerry Desktop Software and the purchase of the new Micro-USB cable did not help.

    I can still load.

Could anyone suggest me how to solve this problem?

In addition, make sure you use only the root USB ports... without hubs (sometimes the front-end ports are hubs... use a rear USB port). And don't forget to try to disable the USB power management in the configuration of your system (Device Manager).

Check also on the incompatible software... it was reported that NTI Shadow Ninja & software can cause a conflict; Remove and reinstall the desktop software BB allows to install correctly.

My apologies in advance if this is redundant - there is no way to be sure that if you have already seen and tried these. Also apologies if all are not currently available... RIM takes their monte and descends at will as they revise things.

I hope that something it is useful!
