I'm looking for help in obtaining my BB Bold 9700 MEP unlock code. The unit is marked ATT and I currently have ATT service, but ATT customer service was able to provide the code. The account is eligible. In general ATT entered phone number and device imei number in a 'RIM system' (site?) and it provides the MEP unlock code, but in this case, it was not provided. ATT sent me directly to RIM - their website and their offices in TX, but finally I got city back to ATT. The site is freemyblackberry.com and it is excellent - very thorough, very easy to understand, even for the individual technician or novice. Read the FAQ and the rest of the site before, but I was convinced, it's a legitimate service, and I was not disappointed.

  This can be a quite complicated depending on a number of factors, but the site explains the variety of scenarios and provides solutions and measures to address everyone, including how to get the MEP ID. My ATT service provider has been absolutely no help and not wanting to go to the next step - contact RIM, which they could have easily done. RIM has been completely inaccessible, unless I wanted to pay for technical support. They do not work by phone or online in a user-friendly way. The whole process to deal with ATT and the RIM was an experience in frustration resulting in no time.

  Just to tell you that I managed to solve the problem, I have basically I had to connect with my Blackberry account before you assign it my e-mail account on the phone. Once it is I started to receive my emails again.

  can anyone help with this, after installing the software comes with my curve 8350 and restarted my dvd drive disappeared.  in Device Manager, it was noticed (!) showing error code 39, which is a problem with the drivers.  someone at - it had to happen and if so, how do take you care of it?  I tried uninstalling the software and had to download the re - install because the dvd drive not working, same results.  is there a blackberry on this fix.

  It turns out that I gave the uninstallation and reinstallation of the downloaded software, one more try, and it worked. my dvd drives are back and usable.  what I discovered on the web, the media software they use can sometimes do exactly what he does if installed right or sometimes it does so without reason.  I think they use the software roxio for the part of their software media.  It (roxio or whatever the brand that they have integrated) is known to cause this problem in standalone versions.  Thank you for your help my pc works fine now and my phone works great!

  Press the menu button green OPTIONS - SMART DIALING check country code, I have mine set to unknown (I call abroad.) Yours is probably set to the + 5255.

  I have a Bold 9780 bundle v6.0 905 running. Device says that there is no upgrade available.

  App world has requested an upgrade - which I did however since then is nowhere to find. I tried to "show all" checked all records etc. Did a cleanup of TNA security.

  I looked in the management of applications and App world is here, tried to delete from there and download - new TNA repeated once again after a wipe soft security.

  Any ideas on the bindings? This is a new replacement "BOLD" I only had one week approximately. However, App world is that the there for all the first 36 hours I had it before she asked for the upgrade and then apparently decided to ninja out...
