BlackBerry Smartphones SMS on SIM card

Hello world

Hoping you can help.  I am going through a separation with her husband right now and I was told to save all my text on my SIM card messages - I want to know how I can go and get them and print them off the coast?

I don't want to pay for an app to do that!

Help, please!

Make a back of your BlackBerry to your PC, using the BlackBerry Desktop Software.

You will then get the MagicBerry of Menastep software for free and extract your SMS to XLS or CSV file and print that file from database.

I don't know why (or how) you would save them on your SIM card. You will need to find a way to print them, unless the person who you told to do that, will also tell you how.

  • Book of phone blackBerry Smartphones copy to SIM card

    Hi all

I have a question: I card double SIM (one in the blackberry Curve 8320) and the other in my car phone, I want to copy my phone book to the SIM card that goes into my car phone.

I found how to copy a contact by contact on the SIM but it last too long.

Is it possible to qualify the default storage for the SIM card contact or to copy multiple contacts on the SIM card?

    Best regards

    Hi arcastor

One is the only way to do it with the default BlackBerry software.

    See you soon!

  • OS update blackBerry Smartphones with another Sim Card

I have a unlocked T-Mobile Blackberry Bold 9900 that needs upgraded software however, I unlocked my phone and switched to AT & T. Which leaves me with the question of the operating system... can I select T-Mobile or AT & T when I reload my OS with an ATT SIM cards on an unlocked T-Mobile phone?

P.S. The reason why I ask because when I insert my battery, my phone has reached 75% charged, then freezes. I tried the "alt + right shift + delete" and the tricks of the 'Safe Mode (back button)'... but they do not work because the phone is completely frozen. This is the reason for my wanting a total reload of the OS.

Sorry for the typos... I use a droid and I want my BlackBerry back.

  • Contacts list copy of blackBerry Smartphones to the sim card

How to copy the list constct the torch b on the SIM (as a backup)?

You really want to copy them to your SIM card, you can have only a single phone number by name, and it is not easy. And you get no email address that you have registered in your contacts.

Make a backup of your device using the BlackBerry Desktop Software and the PC. Much easier.

  • BlackBerry smartphones remove the Sim Card from storm

How do you 'delete' the SIM of the storm? I know that the battery has been removed. I tried to delete it, but seems to be stuck? I looked into the Blackberry site, but it does specify that on installation there. The SIM is uder a metal clip, I can "move". No problem with the phone or the sim card, but maybe later, that perhaps I need to remove it. Thank you.

Maybe I have use a small screwdriver and try to lift the clamp metal, to see if that helps, too. Thank you.

  • BlackBerry smartphone HSDPA AND SIM card

I have, I want to know if there is a SIM card in the Style of Black Berry?

If not, anyone know when they plan to make a new model with the SIM card and HSDPA network?

    Hello

I don't know why this website is indicating that - it is probably just an advertisement to encourage people to click on the unlocking service they link below.

Unfortunately, I rechecked and the BlackBerry Style only has CDMA connectivity and is not a world phone, which means that it has no location for SIM inside.

Here is a site that lists all the specifications more completely:

    http://www.PhoneArena.com/phones/RIM-BlackBerry-style-9670_id4589

Unfortunately, until the RIM is developing a new model of Style, it is not really much available on the market, even from other manufacturers.  The clamshell style has been left largely in favour of full touch devices (e.g. storm), sliders (e.g. the torch or many Android devices) or the form of candybar (for example the BlackBerry Curve or Bold and other devices from other manufacturers).

Sorry, the news is not positive.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones change of SIM card

I bought a BB 8520 at the United Kingdom locked to Vodaphone network. I would change to Orange here in Spain network.  However, I have only a chance of more than ten to change provider!

If I install a 'new' vodaphone SIM card purchased in Spain (on Vodafone Spain network) this will work without affecting the service provider. I'm afraid so the phone blocks and is not not usable!

Please make sure you only enter the correct unlock code so that you do not lose the last attempt.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry message memory and SIM card are full! Please delete some SMS messages.

    Hello

typical - just that I was looking to upgrade, I get the following message on my Torch 9800:

"BlackBerry message memory and SIM card are full! Please delete some SMS. »

There is a lot of space on the card in the device memory and press. I have deleted many texts and have removed the battery (several times), but the error keeps coming back.

I am able to text but can't seem to receive - although copies of text messages that I send continue to be saved. I'm having no problem with other forms of e-mail (for example, WhatsApp, Twitter).

I looked at 3465 Knowledge Base, which advises to uncheck the option "Leave Messages on SIM card", but this has been disabled throughout. (I checked it and saved out of curiosity, which allowed me to receive text only test that I then just sent myself, but after the error message is returned and no other text would come through...) I came back to this area being disabled).

Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

When you say you deleted text messages, how have you deleted and how do you think that you have?

I suggest making a backup with BB Desktop Software. Then, you can use it to do a selective removal of just the basis of message text and see if you can receive messages after that. If you did the backup you can always restore text messages on the device if you want to, although he will crush all new messages on the device.

  • Full SIM blackBerry Smartphones SMS memory?

I have about 20 SMS and it says my SIM SMS memory is full? It can not be full already... previous phone, I got 100 SMS and my sim card was not complete!

    Follow these steps:

Go to Options > SMS text and look for the option that says "Leave the SMS on SIM card" and set it to 'no '.

Your SIM card has a limit of 20 messages, and change this option will move them to the memory of the device instead. I hope this helps!

The media card is reserved for 'media'... as you say. Photos, videos, music, files/documents.

You do not want to move your contacts to your SIM card, because the SIM card is designed to contain only a single name/one number and no email address, nothing else. Instead, make a backup of your old device using the BlackBerry Desktop Software and then restore this backup on your new device, if you had done a previous backup.

Do you have BlackBerry Protect installed on the old device? If Yes, when you sign in to your BlackBerryID for the new device, you can use your BlackBerry Protect data to restore on the new device.

  • Smartphones blackBerry BB 9630 and SIM card

I have a Tour 9630 from Verizon, and I was wondering if it was possible to back up the contacts on the SIM card?

Thanks anyway JSanders.  I thought it would be a good way to back up the address book to make another SIM capable Verizon Blackberry when I got it.

  • Smartphones from blackBerry error message "Insert SIM Card"

I can't get my phone to work due to the error message.  This is a brand new SIM card and should work.  I used a similar card a year ago for a blanket to Costa Rica, and it worked fine.  I took the battery and SIM card many times but also tried to disable the wifi but no luck.

OK, then check this KB and see if something he recommends is to value:

    • KB10824 Data connection or insert SIM card rejected

BTW - have confirmed that this specific BB is even compatible with the network of ice? For example, if the BB manages a set of frequencies still the carrier uses different frequencies, so there is nothing that can be done about it that the BB would simply not compatible with the ICE network. Note that I don't know the answer you need here... you will need find features in the frequency of the BB as well as those who use ice.

    Good luck!

  • Smartphones from blackBerry a transfer contacts sim card to the phone?

Hi all, I have an old SIM contacts on this issue how would synchronize these contacts on the phone, so I did not hasve to spend hours typing all contacts

Unfortunately, it's just how it works. SIM cards have a much less robust AddressBook that does the BB; they store an entry to a phone number. As such, when they are imported into a more robust address book (as BB), you end up with this result. The only thing to do is to get in a PIM on PC (for example, Outlook) and make handling it, then re - sync back to the BB and it's going to be clean again.

    See you soon!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SMS full Notification - help please

I'm at my wits end with my Blackberry Torch 9810.  I have very little text messages in my Inbox, I lost the lot for some reason my phone has decided to change some date & in the future and trying to resolve that, in my opinion, I wiped everything, do not know what I did a few weeks ago, but they disappeared.

Now I get notifications that my SMS Inbox is full and I need to delete messages.  Can someone help me I have a lot of messages on the handset and cannot believe it is complete unless there is an option I need to select/deselect.  The user guide is useless.

I changed a parameter in the past as text messages seem to be endangered if they were in a month or so old, but all that I did I can't and don't know how to handle all my text messages myself.  My old iphone allowed me to keep the text as long messages I wanted with what appeared to be a very large storage area, now I just want to throw this thing in the bin.  Unfortunately I have 18 months remaining on my contract (business) so I can do nothing about it.

OK, not a lot of people very little. It is in memory of the device, but you are some of the SIM card, save too much.

Then... you must change this setting according to the instructions below.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones active new SIM - now phone SOS only

Hi all. Have a little problem. I had to go back to an old 9700 When my current iPhone broke. I needed a new card SIM from the iPhone using a different card. When I called Rogers to activate the SIM everything was fine for about a minute. I received texts that were pending since Sunday when my iPhone broke. I had full bars etc. Once a minute, he went to SOS only. While I was on the phone with Rogers Tech Support I have reset and removed the battery and SIM and all the things they wanted me to. Everything looks good on their system, he said that the problem must be with the device.

    A bit on the device:

Originally with Mobilicity in 2009. Opened and used with the wind. My father then used with Rogers and Fido. Since Sunday, when my phone broke, I used SIM card of my brother-in-law (he just swung at Rogers to the wind, but his plan has always been paid until the end of September) and the BB worked very well. If it worked correctly with a Rogers SIM.

Now, I get the same problem with my brother-brother SIM. SOS only. No connection. What happened when active Rogers SIM card must have done something to the camera itself because now it does not connect to any of them. That both SIMs work as I have tested both in my wife's phone.

The guy on the Support of Rogers suggested that perhaps the closed phone itself - but when I enter the settings advanced for the SIM card that everything is disabled in customization... so it appears not to be locked.

He said that I should try to reinstall the OS, but that it will block the phone and I need to unlocked again.

Is there anything else it could be? Will reinstall the OS relock the phone? Any other suggestions?

    Thank you very much!

First this... avoid this tech Rogers like the plague. He has no idea what he's talking about. All what he told you is simply not possible. Once MEP unlocked, a BB device can blocked at the factory. Nothing of what you have done or the facilities of any OS can relock a BB.

I'd rather a complete security on the Device Wipe:

    • KB14058 How to delete all data and applications in the smartphone BlackBerry using the security option wipe

    Otherwise, a ResetToFactory WIPE:

    • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

After each one, put it in the SIM card and switch on the device, and then make sure that the voice is through Rogers. Only then start to worry about getting all the data to work (if you subscribe BIS, in other words).

If you want to get off the OS Reload path, then the easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do this on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below. (not applicable in your situation)

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try the "skeleton OS Reload procedure" in an attempt to circumscribe the precise causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

You may also use these tips:

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

Good luck and let us know!
