BlackBerry Smartphones Tunnel failure message...

Hello

I have problems to run an application downloaded on my Torch. Initially just got a statement saying "APN not specified" I haver spent most of the morning going through the various forums of o2 and found their codes (APN = wap.o2.co.uk, username = o2wap, password = password).

Now, when I run the application, I get a simple message that says "the Tunnel failed '.

Can someone help me to go beyond that? I'm not a programmer...

Thank you very much

Confirm that the APN settings are saved and always present when you entered the now to do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way:

With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Now try to run your application again.

Did you mean that your emails and text messages are coming in the same folder? If so then try the following-

    Separate messages-> Options-> General Options-> E-mail and SMS: separate

If you mean your different built-in emails appearing in mail and separate mail folder then please be informed that this default happenes. BlackBerry smartphone is designed as such if you think this is awkward, can hide Messages folder (press the Alt button-> click-> Menu select hide).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Priv resend message with double tap on the lock screen

The Priv I just got a weird problem that I have no idea how do I turn off.

When I get a notification to an email on my lock screen and I double tap , it goes to my home screen and does not open the message. Instead, it actually returns email to all people from my address. he does not, he resends and makes it look as if I sent the original.

Several colleagues of mine mentioned that they see the results of my double tap, which is not good.

Has anyone seen this? How in the world can get rid of this weird feature?

    Thank you!

Solved. I redownloaded and updated hub and blackberry services. Now, it doesn't seem to be a problem.

Since the early morning today, we have a general failure in BIS & BES.
No access to the data so no email, the bbm & apps using BIS (via the APN blackberry.net).

We reported the problem to our support of carrier (proximus).

    Everyone knows the same problem?

    Kind regards

After 30 hours of interruption, BIS & BES came back to life. Services returned @ 10:05 THIS (1: 30 ago). South African users confirmed that the blackout began last Friday and has been resolved in early Monday morning. We can close this topic.

  • Device of blackBerry Smartphones, sending text messages invisible to the unknown mobile number

Hi, just bought a unlocked 9360, having a strange, new problem in Blackberry, so be, permissions or something, but the device sends texts to a number of mobile which is not in my repertoire, recent calls or texts. My allocation of text on O2 came down, I changed to a Giffgaff sim and who goes down also.

I know that the phone number as Giffgaff sent me a list of numbers, the texts were out to and they are all the same one.

Sorry to be a beginner, if it's as simple as the app permissions.

    Amanda

Let's be clear. There are SMS messages are automatically sent from the device and you're not sending them? If this is the case, then now, follow these steps:

Turn off the mobile network radio. Perform a full backup. Do a security wipe. When you do the wipe of security, check the box to delete applications.

    See http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB14058 about security wipe.

After clearing security, do a selective restore of just your personal data. Do not restore settings or application data. But, if you can start from scratch and go do a restore, do.

Go ahead: set a device password and lock your device when you have eyes on her. Don't lend your device. Don't let anyone use it. There is a setting in the options to require the device password in order to install an application. I recommend that you enable that. Finally, be careful what apps install.

My best guess is that there is a malicious application on the device. Maybe it was when you bought it, maybe someone put there after you acquired it, or perhaps you have inadvertently installed. Cannot be sure. But obviously this is not something you want, at the very least, and you don't know what it is to delete.   This is my reason for the security wipe.

    1. Who is your mobile operator to whom you pay your Bill?
    2. Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.
  • Response of blackBerry Smartphones cannot SMS messages

Any SMS messages that I received today let me answer them. Whenever I want to send a response that I had to start a completely new SMS. Type an answer then press Enter has no effect, and type an answer then press the Blackberry button (to get the menu up to select 'send' to) do not work either.

Messages in my phone yesterday and besides are to be found, and I can respond to them in the usual way.

  • BlackBerry smartphones purge Outgoing Messages

Hello. I did a stupid thing and tried to me e-mail a bunch of pictures that I took on the Balckberry. It has now been completely bogged down and "transformational" for more than an hour down from my Blackberry. How can I delete these messages from Pocket PC running so slowly that I can't even e-mail section to remove? Any suggestions?

You're not this is fast enough after the reboot, I guess.

If you could scroll to connection management and turn off the wireless, which could stem the flow of data and allow you to delete messages.

or in the Options > mobile networks.

Furthermore, according to your signal, I lived about 3.5 MB of data sent over an EDGE connection can take about 30 minutes... depending on what you send, just set aside the BB and come back in a while

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry smartphones discovers only Messages of Test SMS

I'm new to blackberry and I have an AllTel 8130.  Lack up to now, I can deal with it, but my biggest complaint is that my SMS, email, calls, etc. etc. etc. appear in the messages.  Is there anyway to just see the SMS text messages?

In your main messages folder > Menu > Options > General Options > SMS and Email = separate inboxes.

Who will create the folder separate single Messages for you.

Press the green phone dialing > Menu > Options > Call Logging = NONE. Now, your missed calls do not appear in your list of Messages.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones are deleted messages, actually deleted?

I'm new to BB.  I have a question about the messages.  When I delete a message, it went really?  On Windows Mobile phones, that I have used in the past, you delete a message, and he goes to a trash can.  Then, you remove again to be sure it is really gone.

    This happens on BB phones?

When you delete a message, does go somewhere else on the phone, or is it really deleted?

    Thank you

    Mike

There is no "trash" on BlackBerry. Once an item is deleted, it is really deleted.

With the exception of an agent of forensics experts to examine the BlackBerry, there is not way that e-mail or data back once it has been removed from the BlackBerry (other that it could still be on your server e-mail or in Outlook if use you it).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Audio error message

In addition, not very well why or how this happened.  I've only had the phone for about a week, but it has worked very well so far.

Can anyone provide any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

See if it works now? Often, a traction battery restart will fix 95% of gltiches like that.
