• Different block size in the same cluster

  We use vSphere 4.0 U1. The size of the block of our VMFS data warehouses is configured as 1 MB.
  We plan to add a new datastore with 2 or 4 MB, my question is:
  Is it possible to configure different block sizes in the same cluster without damaging the VMS and without affecting
  vMotion, SVMotion, FT, vDR, I/O performance, clone the virtual machine in another data store, deploy a VM in the data store different block size... etc?
  If it's ok then all limitations or disadvantages should we pay attention to?
  I have'nt found any document concerning the present and hope you guys can shed some light on this subject.

  It is not question of having data with different block sizes stores - the only thing you need to keep in mind is the size limitations of different file between the block sizes - so you won't able to svmotion a virtual machine if the VMDK sizes are both great.

  We took the library/AMQP samples/waiting for a message - changed, that it runs inside a loop, as we wish permanently if subscribe to messages in a queue of RabbitMQ. This is the behavior that we noticed:

  1 works very well for a long time without any problems for the following sequence of events:

  -publish the message to the queue (a customer outside)

  -vCO retrieves the message above

  -publish the message to the queue (a customer outside)

  -vCO retrieves the message above

  ...

  2 problem when there are multiple messages publishes both from outside:

  -publish say 10 messages in queue (a customer outside) - while the Subscriber is running inside vCO

  -vCO resumes the first message

  -vCO is blocked pending (although there are nine several messages waiting to be picked up)

  When I try to debug it via console RabbitMQ, I see that there is a message unack'ed that blocks all messages to be treated. Now when I do a "Force close connection" rabbitmq console, it moves more with maybe one or two messages more and then meet again with the same question.

  This isn't a problem when I run a publishing server and the Subscriber of the external vCO. I'm guessing that there is a problem with the part of the automatic acknowledgement in the AMQP plugin.

  Appreciate if you could look at what is the question. It is always reproducible at my end.

  Recently, we migrated to 9.2.0.4 to 10.2.0.4. In the new version of oracle there was a strange behavior, we have 200 + oracle database user and there was too much blocking on a particular one table, we looked and looked for the cause but found nothing exact reason, then on the internet somewhere, we found that if a primary key is disabled and no there is also foreign then blocking is caused for example

When you cannot remember the subjects of the emails you sent because of the delay and can identify the files that you put in place and they will always say that you can't be identified because "we are unable to validate your identity.

  I don't use a lot of electronic mail, but I stored critical data in folders that I need for SEO work and home, as well as historical data I have not otherwise recorded on a disk or in hard copy. (lesson learned the hard way with backup)

  If you allowed anyone remote access to your computer (and you're talking about a computer since you mentioned iOS which is the OS for iDevices; computers run on Mac OS X), while no one knows what they were able to install. Assume the worst and:

  Notify your credit card company / bank of potential fraud

  Change your bank accounts and report your fly/fraud credit card

  Change all of your passwords

  And, finally, erase your entire hard drive and reinstall the OS from scratch using recovery or your original installation disks.
