Blocking of the press 'Enter' in BasicEditField
Hello
I want to restrict the key 'Enter' in the field of basic edition...
I mean he should alow that one line...
How do I...?
Alternatively, you can try to set the style, for example:
BasicEditField bef = new BasicEditField (BasicEditField.NO_NEWLINE);

How to USE the information the user entered via BasicEditField or AutoTextEditField
What BlackBerry watch document - step by step - how to extract the data that the user has typed on the screen using BasicEditField or AutoTextEditField. and use it in a Java program? If BB doesn't have a good document, here are all the samples you have found useful?
I'm sorry, I didn't know that you had already gone through everything that is available. And Yes, I was aware that the tutorials do not directly provide your requirement. I find that frequently samples and/or the provided code do not directly correspond to my needs and I therefore extend, it goes with the territory of being a programmer and is actually the part that I love - copy the code isn't fun and does not help his understanding. Maybe you don't find so much fun. Instead, please enjoy the following example.

I had the problem of the length so I downloaded Fiefox again. However, now I can't get anything. I tried the suggestion to try the Safe Mode, with disabled modules, but it is still not let me search any URL or keywords. When I type anything in a box, pressing enter or the search arrow does nothing. Help, please!

I can type in the full web addresses, keywords, click on the drop sites, but no matter what, nothing to do with happen when I hit "enter". I read an article that said to type in everything: config in the address bar to access some options, but when I type which in and press ENTER, nothing happens. I like Firefox, but I can't go anywhere unless I use my search of google on the side toolbar or if it's a bookmark.
Can you post the bad add-on so others know?

It doesn't matter what web page I'm on, top 40mm or so of the screen is a dead zone to click on buttons or links. for example, in Google, I can click a link further down the page and are transferred to the new article - but if I had to move the element to the top more near the top of the page the link would no longer operate.
I can go to a link by repeated use of the "Tab" key until the button or the link is shown and then press 'Enter' to use the link, but this is potentially very time-consuming if there are many links on the page.
I use a Toshiba Satellite L750 loaded with Windows 7 and Firefox 16.0.
Problems with the buttons and links at the top of the page does not can be caused by an extension as the toolbar Yahoo! or Babylon that spans both down and covers the top of the browser window and therefore links and buttons in this part of the screen not clickable.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

Do a check with some malware malware, analysis of programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.

Pressing ENTER after typing the URL is no longer responsible for the Web page, trouble?
It used to be that all you had to do was type a half a URL or the whole thing and press enter and the web page would load, now enter pressing is not working, how can I solve this?
Here's the very simple solution to remove from Firefox AVG safe search.
1. go in Firefox "Help".
2. click on "restart with disabled modules.
3. click on "restart".
4. the browser closes and a popup box will open.
5. Select 'Reset all the preferences of the user by default Firefox'.
6. click on "make changes and restart".That should do it.

I type in a new web site in the address bar. Press ENTER. Wait. Wait. type in the same new website in the search bar. It goes straight. Uninstalled Mozilla twice. Reinstalled. Tried to go to a new web site. you press on enter. Nothing. What I am doing wrong? I tried this procedure in Internet Explorer and the new address was excluded.
Hi markehrmann,
I'll try from Firefox Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode. If you do not have the issue so that all your modules, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them in one by one until you find the culprit. You should look at the guide to troubleshooting Extensions and themes and article troubleshooting issues with plugins like Flash or Java to solve common Firefox problems as well.
Hope this helps!

There is no way to enter web addresses and then go to them. You can type an address in the bar address, but when you press on enter, nothing happens... It's as if the button enter is broken... I have no problem with Explorer or Chrome... Firefox worked very right up until a few weeks ago... I can't think of any change to this question... I just uninstall Firefox and reinstalled the latest version to have the same problems...
This problem may be caused by an extension that is not working properly.
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
- Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

Before that I only had to type "IMDb" and press enter and put me to the site immediately, but now all these links come first.
Or I used to type 'youtube' and after knocking entered, I was took directly to the homepage of youtube.
What can I do to make it like it was before, so it takes me directly to the site? Second, my Norton passwords and user names for all sites that have been stored in my 'Norton safe"does not appear in the browser. This will be available soon?
Try to define your topic: config entries for:
- Keyword.Enabled - > true
- Browser.Fixup.Alternate.Enabled-> true
- Browser.Fixup.Alternate.prefix-> www.
- Browser.Fixup.Alternate.suffix-> .com
and then restart your browser and try again supernatural imdb.
You must use 'supernatural imdb' rather than "supernatural imdb" because you want the domain before the page for research work best.

Since the installation of Firefox 8, when I type anything in the address bar and then press "enter" or click on the arrow for "go to the address in the address bar", nothing happens! Similarly if a place is indicated by the location bar AutoComplete feature. I hit "enter" or click the "go to" and nothing happens. " Keyboard shortcuts to "complete the .com, .net, etc. addresses" doesn't work or the other. The address bar has worked well for entering web addresses before Firefox 8. Help, please.
Try Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there.
A way of solving problems, which disables most of the modules.
(If you use it, switch to the default theme).- You can open the Firefox 4, 5, 6, 7 SafeMode pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.
Do not choose anything at the moment, just use 'continue in safe mode.
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.
If it's good in Firefox Safe mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.
http://support.Mozilla.com/en-us/KB/troubleshooting+extensions+and+themesWhen find you what is causing that, please let us know. It might help others who have this problem.

I do not know; Maybe I'm just crazy, but I swear, until I downloaded FF4, I used to be able to (1) type in a full URL, or (2) a URL or a partial keyword and choose what I wanted in a drop-down of recent URL, and then press ENTER to be redirected to the page I was looking for - all in the address bar without having to use my mouse click on the small arrow buckled at the right end of the address bar (next to the star of "favorite").
This will be caused by an add-on that does work properly with Firefox 4. the procedure described in the following link can be used to identify a cause your problem - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
The AVG Safe Search add-on caused this problem for some people.

When I write a Web site address and press ENTER, it doesn't fit to the page and I have to press the arrow to go. Also ctrl + enter for the AutoComplete does not work the address of the site. Lately, I noticed this problem in 6 FF. I expect the upgrade to 4 FF will solve this problem, but he persists.
Thank youThis may be due to a problem with an add-on. To find out how to solve this to find out what is causing the problem, see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
