Blu Ray playing software

I recently had to replace the hard drive in my laptop Inspiron (by reason of being a rlap) and I lost my PowerDVD program which was pre installed when I bought the laptop. Is anyway I can get it back without having to pay for it or is there another way that I can play my blu ray?

Hi Ry88,

You can download the PowerDVD software for my Dell downloads. Click on the http://bit.ly/9sK3DH link-> select your country-> click on continue to register your computer (follow the on-screen instructions). Please check that you are using the Internet Explorer browser only.

I have a Pavilion m9060n Vista desktop computer. Running HDMI on a monitor Samsung. It is used to play Blu Rays on the rare times where I tried it, now, it won't. I went through the procedure of updating through Cyberlink and now I'm stuck with this:

"Do you want to activate your reader now" flashes on the display and the program stops. This happens on multiple disks.

I reinstalled the DVD playback software, run the Cyberlink BD & 3D Advisor and it passes. I tried to read a comic that I ripped to my hard drive, video playback, but there is no sound, probably due to the fact that he is no longer a healthy option HMDI in DVD playback menu.

For testing purposes, I have download the Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 trial and everything works fine which must exclude a hardware problem.

Who did the trick. Everything I threw at it worked well. I tried to do an update, the police is unreadable on my screen and it gave me the opportunity to close this window. Impossible to tell what version it is.

  • Recommend Blu - Ray burning software

    Hi all

I can find a BLu - Ray burner, but the software that allows you to burn BLu - Ray still seems a bit sketchy.

One below looks good, but many say that you must purchase additional software for blu - ray burning.

I have toast, but an older version and do not want to pay just to be able to burn blu = ray.

Is it safe to burn it to Blu - Ray in the FCX? This option requires no other software right? The iMac and FCX

    has everything what to do?

What do you do with your DB? If you need to create sophisticated, you may need a Windows machine. If all you need is a reliable compiler and running something that reliable external combustion of FCPX, Toast gets my nod.

Burn inside FCPX works very well but it is facing issues like burning DVDs, especially subtle graphics or menu glitches that are difficult to track down or weird user errors.

    From the FCPX help system:

Use these destinations to burn your project or the clamp to standard definition (SD) DVD or Blu-ray-compatible disk, or to create a disc image (.img) file, you can copy on an external drive or burn to a disc later.

I need help for a new show with my burning (Win 7 Pro, CS5.0 of original installation discs from Adobe, LG BD-burner; different BD - R, BD - RE discs: Sony, Philips, Kodak).

While he played the breast still function "Preview From Here" shows no problems burning (either directly yet, or the file with ImgBurn) and plays for TV on Blu - ray (Panasonic DMP BDT330) Player, once from time to time, the beginning of elements menu plays Harfang noise intermittent with some black frames of anywhere between 3 to 6 seconds. Reading several times, this problem occurs at the beginning of the menu items different (and mainly during the playback of a playlist with the same elements).

Playing commercial Blu - ray discs or my old Blu - ray disks, there is nothing wrong with reading.

It seems to me that it is something that still or the LG OD made. Before you start to reinstall the suite CS5 (detached with first Revo), I'd be very happy any idea on the cause of this behavior.

Also, it would help to eliminate some of the possible culprits if I could read the Blu - ray disc directly from my BD player. I would appreciate any suggestion for a good and tested software (free or paid for) that would not interfere with Adobe (or mess up my 'Virgin' OS ).

    Thank you very much

    LACI.

P.S. My guess at this point is that the culprit is the BD burner. While DVD sales/BDs are "in a hurry", House burners use PCM (memory to change of phase - and also the memories of my years of Intel working on their reliability). If the laser in the burner gets more older/defective, then the merger / recrystallization of the PCM lmemory element could not be 'perfect', and when it is read, it sometimes gives the wrong answer (even with ECC, which I'm not sure that they employ in the DVD).

I'm still waiting and much, appreciate some advice before I rush to buy a new burner or reinstall all CS5.

    Thank you

    LACI.

P.P.S. sorry about all this information most of which is probably not relevant (especially the part of PCM memory ). I opened (should have done in the first place) the BD drive on my computer and checked the m2ts files in BDMV > STREAM > *. m2ts. They all (including animated menus) play perfectly on the computer with WMP. Thus, burning and playback of these files causes no problem. Most likely, the problem comes when still built the navigation. Since the menus animated on the disk also play without any hickups, I guess that's the recall itself that causes these problems. I'll reinstall CS5. (The question still open at this stage is, how it is possible that this snow a few seconds before some of these files m2ts doesn't always happen at the same file m2ts replaying the disc even comics on TV.)

I would still like comments from expert users.

BTW, is there any program out there whith what I could replace Adobe Encore? (It's the place only weakly in the range ).

    -Laci.

at the beginning of some elements of the menu plays a snowy intermittent noise with some black frames for anywhere between 3 to 6 seconds. Reading several times, this problem occurs at the beginning of the menu items different (and mainly during the playback of a playlist with the same elements).

What does the menu items? I guess that's the menus themselves, not chronology movies?

What might this would create this? I don't know, but suppose it's more likely from disc problems and others. And Yes, where things are put physically on the disk can be a problem. But likely Burns/drive problems.

Have you tried this on another drive?

  • Pavilion dv7 & new discs Blu - ray plays not

My laptop is a little older than a year.  A few months ago I bought my first Blu - ray (copyright 2009) movie and it plays well with HP MediaSmart.  A few days ago, I bought my second movie Blu - ray (copyright 2011/2012) and it won't play at all.  "Loading disc, ready to play" messages just keep looping back.  Installed a BIOS update, but made no difference on this issue.  There are two-disc Blu - ray and DVD in the box.  All are pristine, clean, no scratches.  Only the DVD plays.  Checked Support HP for driver updates, but could not give a sense of the descriptions.  I bought the film at the Fred Meyer store in Burlington, WA on April 3, 2012.  The Blu - ray 2009 always plays very well.

Should which driver I?  Or am I missing something else?  Thank you.

That won't work because the HDMI connector on the laptop's output is not the entrance.

  • Blu Ray plays is not on an old monitor Ultrasharp

Greetings - I use an old monitor Ultrasharp of thirty-two inch September 2005 with a white DVI connection to a new PC-HP high range.  Tried to read a DVD Bluray (Band of Brothers...) but it does not work and tells me he has a problem with HDCP (diagnostic Cyberlink using Power DVD 13). Does this mean that my Dell monitor isn't compatible Bluray and I can do something? The monitors they are pilots?  If the monitor took a HDMI connection would help?

    Help would be appreciated sincerely

    Thank you Michael

    Hi Michael,

You will not be able to play blu ray on this old monitor, I'm afraid. There are gadgets that can be used to hack into the system to play blu ray on non HDCP hardware, but they are usually more expensive than a new monitor.

  • Blu - ray plays a few frames after each chapter marker when viewed on a TV

CS6/first Pro CS6:Video has 1 Main Menu, 4 submenus, 4 chronologies, each with a context menu. Everything works perfectly except one problem.   When you view the Blu - ray, at the end of each chapter, there are a few images has been of the order of the day on the timeline.   It's as if my Blu - ray player is slow to return immediately to the submenu.  Each chapter end point is directed towards the respective submenu.   Each chapter call perfectly well the works of submenus.   The problem is when the end point is reached.  So briefly, I see the first several frames on the timeline.  Why is this?

  • Dell XPS 12 - Blue Ray Player does not work

    Hello

    Thanks for your help!

I bought a DELL XPS 12 - 5 months ago, XPS 12 is compatible with reading Blue Ray.  I brought the external material of Blue Ray player and Nero land 12 Blue Ray playing software to operate the equipment. I tried to launch the Blue Ray player and he said: 'the connection to your screen does not have the system requirements for Blue-ray.  Please check your system for HDCP compatibility or use the analog output.  (Error Code (1:0 x 13, 2:0 x 80400034)).

Could you please help me to get the Blue Ray drive to work.

I don't know what is the Dell policy on programs like this, but the free version of DVDFab Passkey () should replace the HDCP thing and allow you to use NERO.

Should I install a manual driver Ii? (I've tried to update, but the computer says that its already the latest version of the driver)

    Hello

As far as I know the laptop must be equipped with a Blue-ray player and the player must manage the disc BD, BD - R SL, DL, BD - RE SL, DL, BD - ROM.

I don t think you need a special driver
The driver is part of the system.

You only need a software that allows you to watch Blue-Ray disc.
But the Blue-ray player software must be pre-installed

  • HP Pavilion dv6t-1100: no longer plays blu - ray

From this computer with Windows Vista, and I have upgraded to Windows 7. Recently, I did a clean install of Windows 7 using a disc and now problems play a blu - ray disc. When I insert the disc, Windows Media Center opens and asks me if I want to check the updates. Regardless of whether I choose Yes, he keeps asking if I want to update. I installed the latest version of the MediaSmart DVD software and a stand-alone version of the software MVP. I don't seem to have the Cyberlink software more, and I don't know why. Could be the problem? I vaguely remember having to download something to fix this problem when I updated before, but I don't remember where or what.

  • How can I play a Blu - ray disc

    Original title:?

How can I play a blu - ray disc

You need key components to play a Blu - ray disc. You need a Blu - ray drive for your computer, which can be purchased in electronic stores, if your computer did not come with one. You also need the Blu - ray playback software. Personally, I use Cyberlink PowerDVD as my go - to for playback of Blu - ray discs on my own computer, but there are a handful of other solutions. The reason main I like Cyberlink is that after having tried a variety of other solutions, he was the one who seemed to be most reliable and use fewer computer resources during playback. Here's a more detailed explanation of How to play Blu-ray discs on Windows.

  • Blu - ray DVD don't play on my laptop when says that it comes with blue-ray program. Windows Vista Aspire 5520 G. Acer Arcade deluxe or windows media player

When I put in the dvd it happens on arcade deluxe acer appointed as if its going to play then returns to the page of game film and said "an essential element of the player requires periodic updates. new employees may not play if the critical component is not treated quickly. you want to update now? "Yes... not" I would then click on Yes, then, it makes my screen off for a few seconds then returns to game film I try to play the movie and he asks to the page again. What should I do I don't want to buy a new program like winDVD or powerDVD

If you just got the computer (and it sounds like that) contact the technical assistance service of the manufacturer of the computer (preferably by phone) -http://support.acer.com/ for Aspire 5520.  You may be able to get more details with the serial number of your system.  They will be happy to explain what's on your system, whether or not it can really handle discs Blu - Ray, this software to use to do (they will be able to see what they have installed on your system) and, if necessary, and even how to do because the system is almost new and certainly still under warranty.  I think you need special drivers for the drive (not to mention a disc that can play Blu - Ray discs) and the software may be special to deal with them, even if I am not sure (I don't think that Windows Media Player only is sufficient).  Arcade Delixe might do the trick (although it seems to be only an extension for WMP and unrelated to Blu - Ray), but you need to ask, because it is their software, their training and their computer.

    I hope this helps.
