You have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Gerry,

I spoke with someone at AOL technical support.  We have renamed the AOL ATWPKT264. Driver SYS 'ATWPKT264. SYS' at 'ATWPKT264. Bak' and then rebooted the system.  He solved the problem.

  • Blue screens: Bad_Header_Pool & Memory_Management

I keep getting following error codes on a blue screen: Bad_Header_Pool & Memory_Management after Vista load or worked for a while. To disable the cache in the Bios... Does anyone know how to solve this problem, it's quite irritating?

These bugs indicate that you encounter the corruption of memory.  This could be due to a faulty hardware or a buggy driver / incompatible.  When she has started behavior - any recent change in hardware or software?

To treat blue screens, following general tips:

Consider running chkdsk on all partitions.  Leave complete chkdsk on each partition and see if that helps.

    Also consider running SFC/scannow.

For the case of memory corruption such as you seem to be experiencing, it may be useful to use Driver Verifier.  To activate the... Driver Verifier start-> verifier.exe-> OK-> create standard settings - > then-> the names of the drivers select in a list-> next-> sort by provider-> select all non-Microsoft drivers-> finish and OK your way out of the dialog box.

Then restart and use the system as you normally and wait for a problem.  In case the system does not completely start after activation of the Verifier, boot mode safe and run driver verifier and tell him to remove the changes.

Wait for an error checking to happen after you have enabled the auditor as described and then transfer it to your SkyDriveand provide a link.

If you start in safe mode, do you still feel bugs? What if you do a clean boot, or boot device?

Consider the memory with memtest86 or Windows Memory Diagnostic test. Note that memory that pass the tests isn't necessarily good memory - he not only failed a review.  Examine systematically to eliminate the system RAM - run with a few modules for awhile and see how things are going. Then try the other modules.

Other common suggestions include ensuring drivers are up to date (including video drivers), but also to ensure that you use the latest version of the BIOS.

We started to have this blue screen with these error codes, can anyone help us with that?  We had a power surge, a loss of power, and the next blue screen this day began to appear.  Anyone got any ideas?

If you had a power failure while XP worked and now, your system is bad, the first thing you should do is run a chkdsk with error correction.  These events can cause corruption in the file system then it would be the first thing to do.  Here's a way to do it:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315265

If it were me, I would run the chkdsk since the XP Recovery Console so I could watch it run...

As the forums MS Answers does not prompt for any information system when a new question is asked, we don't know anything about your system.  Unless you want ideas for things to try (as opposed to things to do), please tell us more about your system:

Provide information on your system, the better you can:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Your system have IDE or SATA disks?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?

You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

After running chkdsk with error correction (and clean), if you are still having the BSOD, follow these steps:

The next time your system crashes, provide more information on what you see.
Here's a BSOD example showing information you provide:
Send for the nose and the Red arrows (3 to 4 lines total).
Send all * line STOP message since there are clues in the 4 parameters.
If there is a name of the file listed in the STOP message, don't forget to include this information too.
Ignore the boring text unless it seems important to you.  We know what a BSOD looks like, we need to know what your BSOD looks like.

    Download BlueScreenView here:

Unzip it and run it (BSV installs nothing) and let him complete the digitization of all your crash dump files.
If you double-click on depressed, you will get information on it (including the field caused by the driver) and you should be able to spot the problem right away - especially if you see a model in landfills where Caused by field pilot is the same (beginning with this driver).
BlueScreenView tries to find the right driver or module that caused the blue screen by looking inside the stack of the accident. However, be aware that the driver detection mechanism is not 100% reliable, and you should also look in the lower pane, that display all drivers/modules found in the stack.
Select (highlight) one or more of the most recent dump files by clicking on them and hold down the CTRL key to select multiple files.  Try to select only the most recent links that relate to your problem (perhaps five or six to start dump files).
Click on file, save selected items and save information from the dumps to a text file on your desktop called BSOD.txt. Open BSOD.txt with a text editor, copy the text and paste it in your next reply.
Here's an example of report ASB to a single BSOD I initiated on purpose that indicates the cause of the accident as the pilot i8042prt.sys belonging to Microsoft Corporation:

  • Blue screen and bad RAM memory?

My MBP 2011 early all just stopped working yesterday, it worked very well without any problem of performance for the last 5 years, and then suddenly a blue screen (of death) and it has problems starting.

He will ring the Bell to start, display the bar loading and Apple, and then there will be a glitch on the big screen (horizontally) 1 inch above the Apple, after that, the fans speed up and all that I see a gray screen, not user interface.

I zapped the PRAM/MSC and tried the unique memory sticks, I have no spare RAM on hand, but who will order soon.

    Tips to solve this problem?

    AHT says this - 65/4MEM/4000000000: 0x84f6f918

Google says it is bad memory

    Here is the BSoD:

I think you have a problem of memory, although if your MacBook Pro 15 or 17 inch, you should consider video issue as well now.

  • Blue screen of death WITHOUT Flash Player!

When I try to watch video on YouTube I have Blue Screen Of Death. Sometimes after 1 min and sometimes after 10 min. I have installed Adobe Flash Player because it is not necessary to watch videos on YouTube. I checked disable "enable hardware acceleration and I always get BSOD.» I am running Windows 8.1 with all the updates, and also I've always updated Firefox when there is a new update. I tried to install Flash Player and tried all the solutions I found on the internet but non of them work so I uninstalled Flash Player. On Google Chrome, everything works normally, but I don't want to switch to him whenever I want to watch some videos in the fear of having BSOD. Please if anyone has a solution or an idea, it would be very useful. Thanks in advance!

Hmm, since you have already disabled the main hardware acceleration, it could be a problem with the video (or audio) decoding. For video decoding, you can try these setting changes:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste media and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference media.directshow.enabled to true to false

    (4) double click on the media.mediasource.mp4.enabled preference from true to false

    (5) double-click the preference media.mediasource.webm.enabled to false to true

    (6) double-click the preference media.windows - media - foundation.enabled from true to false

The effect of everything that should be blocking MP4/h.264 decoding and place you in the latest format WebM (VP9) YouTube. You can check the result on this page, but that might not show up after leaving Firefox and start it again:

https://www.YouTube.com/HTML5 (the two h.264 should be red)

It's not so convenient for other video sites, but I'm curious to know if it helps on YouTube or has the same problems.

  • Boot camp Win 7 0 x 34 blue screen during windows startup after the restoration with the image of the system.

The hard drive on the Macbook pro was repartioned, all the boot camp and other drivers updated and Windows installed from the installation DVD. All the Windows updates available from 2012 (installation disc is 2012) until today have been installed and Boot camp 5.1 with all its drivers installed. Restoration was launched with an image of an external hard drive and a system repair disc system. Once Windows loads after the login screen, it crashes. A blue screen appears with the error code 0 x 00000034 and mention cache_manager... AppleHFS.sys/AppleMNT.sys are used to allow access to filesystems OSX JHFS +. Restoring Windows on Mac backups can be painful. If you have already fresh install of W7 on the internal drive, try the restore without installing any driver BC. Please be aware that such a restore is not aware of the partitions on your internal drive and can erase your internal drive.

  • iPhone 5 s Apple logo and blue screen bucle

Hello, I have zero return my iPhone 5 s to its factory settings, and it seems that my iPhone has consumed all the battery while it was restoring (I reset phone, no iTunes).

It took 45 minutes, and then he went off of the power. Now when I connect it to my pc iTunes does not show the phone icon. And when I try to turn it on there is a logo of apple for a few seconds and then comes the blue screen (never shown before the reset on the back). And it keeps it time and time again.

    What can I do?

  • Mozilla Thunderbird will not start after the blue screen.

There was a program that was supposed to update the drivers but caused a blue screen. I had to go back to a previous point of reset to get Windows 7 running again. Now Thunderbird gives me an error "could not load XPCOM" at startup. What should I do?

I solved the problem as follows:
    1. turn off the antivirus software.
2 delete the program folder in Thunderbird, C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird (Windows 32-bit) or C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Thunderbird (64-bit Windows) by default.
    3. use the browser to download the Thunderbird installer on the Mozilla site.
4 reinstalled Thunderbird by running the installation program.
    5 turn on antivirus software.
