"BOLD" in CSS is not displayed in IE7
I created using the external STYLE sheet, the bold in Heading1 views correctly in Dreamweaver and in Firefox, but not in IE7. All other styles; font size, color display correctly. Any suggestions?I´d do this way: change the CSS:
#content p.head1 {/ * definition for a class for a certain paragraph * /}
make-weight: bold;
}
the class attached to the paragraph:
Real Medicine Foundation / Jeevan Jyoti Health Service Society (JJHSS)
Prevention of HIV and care program Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh, India
works better?

I suspect that the problem is with the CSS itself. CSS is correctly displayed in the design view of the topic in RH10, but may not display correctly if I display the help topic for the command CTRL + W in RoboHelp and is not correctly displayed in the project compiled in Chrome or FireFox. Any ideas? Thank you!
Solved. The class tag was applied as something like "note" rather than "Note." CSS and changed case now appear as expected.

Images and CSS does not display in Design view
I went from MX in DW 8 and now have this problem in Preview/design mode:
Styles do not display at all. I'm a link to the CSS page, like this:
"< LINK REL ="stylesheet"type =" text/css"href="/includes/main.css ">
Images are not displayed when linking via the root directory. I am a link as follows:
"< img src="/images/a1_banner.gif ">
If I remove the first "/" (or use '... / "as appropriate), it is displayed correctly.
Any thoughts... ?Here's what I had implemented badly.
I had entered the URL of the website where it says "this address is used for links to the site and for the Link Checker to detect the HTTP links that send back to your own site.»
I removed this URL and everything is now display as it should.

I looked in dreamwever faq and they speak not no projection in Design view to toggle the display styles. This isn't the problem because it is checked, and I tried to turn on and off and made no difference. I use the firefox browser.
It happened before the other day too. But all my other pages of this website that I created in the same way the construction with DIV tags and css styles So, not sure what is the problem. Maybe someone has a suggestion here.

My Web site page is not displayed in IE7 and going odd in Safari
Hi, I'm working on a website ( www.katecornish.co.uk ) for someone. In Firefox, the entire site seems well. In IE the page "Attica 09' (www.katecornish.co.uk/Attic09.html) displayed at all, I just get a blank page." In Safari displays this page, but the CSS is messed up and the h1 and h2 tags are just big black characters rather than the styles that I created.
Can someone help before I give up Web design forever?
Thanks in advance!
Kate.
I think Safari is more strictly the processing your code then are other browsers. "Through this 2nd page of the validator: http://validator.w3.org/ , shows that your header code is a link to a lightbox css file that does not exist, your document title end tag is just ' / title > ' missing right the"<", a="" script="" tag="" that="" ends="" but="" doesn't="" match="" up="" with="" an="" opening="" and="" some="" other="" minor="" errors. ="" see="" if="" fixing="" those="" tags="" helps="">",>

Bold randomly CSS, but not in the code!
Hi people,
Frustrated here... Last year 7 DIY web design (with DW3 and now 8) I've never been so perplexed to the need to ask for help.
As far as I can tell, DW is automatically updated in the sections of text bold, often the first cell of a table, but with no code which shows he was in bold. Copy as unfat CSS of a section text in that cell block not formatted will be "BOLD" it.
http://35th-services.com/outdoor-rec.htm
Here is an example of bold randomly... In the section at the bottom of the page, you will see the hours entered for a few facilities. DW has bold text for cells 1st and 3rd in this block, but the code does not consider that - only facility names are supposed to be in bold.
The problematic code section is below if you do not source it:
Help! I know it seems minor, but it's very annoying. Thanks in advance for your help - hopefully it's something minor I am dominant, but darn if I can tell what!
~ KTYou're right about the use of DW to create the code (only one of the many reasons I like DW!). I didn't realize that I had been involuntarily create headers. So now I know not only how to fix those I messed up, I also learned how to avoid making the same mistake in the future.
Also, thanks for the heads-up on the screen being off in FF. I downloaded it so I can test my pages in the browser as well as IE.
Thank you both for the help!

CSS is not correctly displayed in Firefox
My new CSS layout is beautiful in IE7 (weird), however, it does not correctly render in Firefox. I always do some research before posting here, but I'm completely helpless now. I'm very new to CSS, this is my first page I put on the use of this language. Virtually none of the higher margins work, and my image of false column does not appear. I will attach the HTML and the CSS and see if someone can point out what's wrong with Firefox.nowherecreative wrote:

Safari 9.1.3 textedit html/css not displaying does not correctly
I am trying to learn html/css and I'm going through a basis of teaching course that you type some html and css style, and then open it in Safari.
I went to textedit preferences and selected plain text, I unchecked .txt extension and saved as index.html to try it in safari, and it does not display properly, are there other settings should I set in textedit or safari so that it appears correctly. Here is my simple html text. Safari does not display the style.

Background images are not displayed (CSS, other images ok
I tried to empty cache, watched: config for odd configurations, made a private window and disabled all extensions. None of them had no effect.
Test pages: Amazon.com and https://developer.mozilla.org/samples/cssref/background-image.html - two of these pages have loaded by CSS background pictures. For example, the Amazon logo at the top left is a background loaded from a CSS page. The image itself can be found in gross:
http://g-ECX.images-Amazon.com/images/G/01/gno/sprites/global-sprite-v1._V339353059_.PNGThis image cannot:
https://developer.Mozilla.org/samples/cssref/images/starsolid.gifBut why, why why these images are displayed on their relevant Web pages? I see that Amazon, eBay, and many other sites Web without a range full of images. In particular those used for menus and other important navigation buttons.
Here's what I see on the Mozilla page mentioned above: I see the text, but no expandable star image. It works in other browsers and on other computers in Firefox.
The page that I tap on right now has no blue background, windows are not correct (as the search engine is not a rounded grey area) and the magnifying of research is missing. So this experience makes it impossible the use of simple pages.
Firefox 32, Vista
It was a strange setting. I have it set, then updated some of the relevant information on the subject myself. Here's the question:
If the preference of the user browser.display.use_document_colors in subject: config is set to false, the background images will not display.

Why will not display the nested div CSS properties?
I am configuring a zone of activity featured on a home page. It should show on the slide show images. I made sure the values of z-index of the event box divs are much higher than the slide show. The external div (.featuredEvent-wrapper) does NOT display the background color assigned to it, no matter what I try. The internal div (.boxEvent star) does not - the color of police, police-family or text-shadow, and the only way I could get it to align the text to the Center was by assigning that to the wrapper).
Here is the page showing the text to the right of the main logo of the event, but lack the background color dark: http://nottoway.com/index-test.htm
This is the same page, but when the slideshow is disabled so that you can see where the text is: http://Nottoway.com/index-test-bare.htm
I have also attached 2 screenshots, one of the design view in Dreamweaver (CC 2015.1), which shows what should look like the box and the second showing what he looks like downloaded online (and also in Live View mode). The HTML and CSS code are below.
Any help that anyone can give me on this will be greatly appreciated!

I use Ind CC 2014 export a document to an epub recomposable. The document contains a picture .ai. The image export correctly in some parts of the the.epub, but not others, when it is deformed. There is a warning on export: "Non-rectangular objects will not display correctly when you export using CSS." Any suggestion is appreciated.
Hello
For these objects, the best option is to 'rasterize container"to preserve appearance of the page layout setting in the Options of the Export Object dialog box and then export to EPUB recomposable.

Ive tried to make changes on the other page and im having the same problems.

Allroots2.css #2459 line is a missing end ({}) support.
In addition, you can wrap #raycontact - line #78 of the main document - around the four following divisions.

DW does not display the section <; div >; with CSS. Why?
I thought go to DW to call my HTML/CSS pages (I always use MS Front Page), but when I loaded my page HTML < div > major section is not displayed in the design pane, even if it is displayed with the live on display.
Here is the HTML code for the block that is missing:
function() {return A.apply (null, [this] .concat ($A (arguments)))}
< div id = "text_body" >
Description of < h1 > < / h1 >
Blah-blah-blah< / div >
and the CSS file:
function() {return A.apply (null, [this] .concat ($A (arguments)))}
#text_body
{
position: absolute;
margin-top:-10px;
padding: 20px;
Width: auto;
}Remove the position: absolute; Since the below css selector.
#text_body
{
position: absolute;
margin-top:-10px;
padding: 20px;
Width: auto;
}Close the text_body (see below)
We will continue to take stock of this question by the Safety Advisory
section of the Adobe, but also the Adobe PSIRT blog website.More

Something might just happen. Then go and take some time to learn more about css.
