I had the option while restarting and it had no option to run windows, start only on mac. someone please help I have no idea how to fix this

Your Windows Installer is not started. Run BCA, remove the Windows partition, disconnect the external storage, perform the following two procedures and then to try BCA.

It is more a question that you should study from the other end (Samsung/Android) to this end (Windows).  Hardware and software support for any device always has (probably always will be) from the manufacturer of the product.  They did, they decide what software/drivers that they provide and how they provide.

For most of the devices like this - just use it as a USB hard drive works well.  ;-)

  • HP laptop - 15-r244tx: NVIDIA graphics card driver not to proceed with the installation of my new laptop HP 15-r244TX (portable)

I bought a new laptop HP 15-r244TX. When I'm looking in the Device Manager I can see that the 2 drivers are not installed:

    1.Intel (R) 8 series xHCI HC - 9 31

    2.3D video controller

When I try to install NVIDIA graphics driver an error is coming as driver intel not installed.

I installed Windows7 (64-bit) and downloaded the driver on the site of hp for this model of laptop.

In my view, 3D video controller represents the NVIDIA graphics driver.

Please help me so that I can properly install these 2 drivers.

    Hello:

That's what I suggest you try...

1 install the utility driver Intel chipset installation and reboot.  The second listed file is the auto install file.

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/download/20775/Intel-chipset-device-software-INF-Update-utility-

    2. install the Intel HD graphics driver and restart.  The first file listed is the automatic installation file.

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/download/25232/Intel-Iris-Iris-Pro-and-HD-graphics-driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64bit

    3. install nvidia HD graphic driver and restart.

This package provides the driver that allows the graphics from NVIDIA high definition (HD) in the notebook models that are running an operating system supported. If the video output high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.

    File name: sp69609.exe

If the graphics drivers from nvidia at the address above do not work, try one directly on nvidia...

  • MD Storage Manager client not to proceed with the installation

    Hello

I have a problem when you install the Client of MD Storage Manager on a PC of the V6 management resources DVD, it comes to managing the Dell Powervault MD3620F. I tried to install the Management Station only on a PC running Windows 8.1 U1, there are no errors during installation, but only the utility of Configuration of MD GET installed, not the Storage Manager.

Also, I tried to install this on a host running Windows Server 2008 R2 that is connected to the PowerVault but again once the Configuration utility is installed and there is no mistake as to why the Storage Manager client has been ignored. Version 10.84.G6.54 has already been installed on this system without any problems. There are balls I can look at to resolve the problems why Storage Manager is not installing, are there prerequisites that I could miss?

    Hello gbstjem,

Here's what you need to do.  Open the CD or ISO file. Navigate to the windows folder on the CD-ROM. go to MDSM, then select the SMIA-winx64 file. On your Windows 8.1 system go to the folder of the MDSM and then select the file SMIA-winx64 & replace it. So try & run the file again to see if it opens correctly.

Okay, so you didn't get very far in the installation.

Here's how to reset a forgotten password.

Do you have a backup before the upgrade, such as a time Machine backup?   (Keychain is not containing the administrative password, unfortunately.)   You remove the login keychain, all stored passwords in Safari and in fact be lost.)   If you have, I would recover the set of connection from there.

If you don't have a current backup, it's the first think you get.

There could be a problem with the disk or of protection structure, or with the disc itself.    Creating a new keychain cannot be blocked, short error permissions or a drive problem.    Disk utility and check the drive and see if there is something to do.   (Unfortunately, some of these steps require an administrative password.)   You can try the repairs or a backup to disk by booting from the recovery partition - that won't require no administrative privileges - and attempt a repair or recovery from here, or save the entire drive disk external work.

You have another Mac around, where certain tools can be generated and can then be used here?

  • Proceed with the trial after you open a vi dialog box

I am a beginner with TestStand. I'm going through the entire sequence until all end with some dialog windows left open without waiting for a user to click on OK/QUIT on the dialogue window to go to the next step of the test. I want the test at the end with no required user interaction.

I tried with dynamically called vi, but it stops the test - waits until the user closes the window and what, he does not pass the settings of the dialog box (maybe I did something wrong with the dynamic appeal.

Is it possible to open vi of dialogue and to proceed with the trial without user interaction?

PS Dialogue vi only receives the arguments and displays them on the chart.

    Hey Michal,.

You On-The-Fly reports is enabled in the options of your report? I created the sample VI to run in a new thread and set a breakpoint later in the sequence. At this point, in the base_dn with my movie file folder, I got a report_Tmp.xml file that contains the part of the report up to date.

  • Reinstalling Windows XP not to proceed with the final stages of a few

I am doing a clean reinstall of Windows XP Edition family on a 80 GB hard drive in a Dell Dimension 3000.  I use a Dell CD labeled "Reinstalling Microsoft Windows XP Edition - SP2 - CD" family.  I chose to not to partition the disk and to the screen in the form, I chose the slowest option ("format the partition using the NTFS file system") to scan the disk for bad sectors.  The installation went well, through article 6.6 ("in the network settings screen, select Typical... step 4 in the present guide "):

    http://support.Dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/KCS/document?&docid=DSN_179256&isLegacy=true#Issue4

and through the point 45 ("after a certain time Windows will finalize the installation... ") in this guide:

    http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org/how_do_i_install_windows_xp.htm .

I wasn't paying attention, but I guess the next step, mentioned in the two guides, reboot, occurred in fact since I am now at a desktop computer with a background image familiar XP ('Bliss' of display properties - Desktop).  The Start button is in the lower left corner, and the time is in the lower right corner.  Recycling Bin icon is on the desktop.  I can click on start and show the menu start and navigate toward and beyond the Panel, for example.  Windows Explorer is functional.  All text and icons are larger than they should be.  The last step to occur, I think, was the dialog box came the display settings.  I clicked 'Yes' for Windows 'automatically fix the screen resolution and color depth settings.  Nothing noticeable has happened, and here I sit.  I don't remember see the Welcome to Microsoft Windows screen.  I've seen certainly not screen turn on the firewall, or the activation screen or the screen "How this computer connect to the internet".  Is it possible to get the installation to resume from that point?  I hope that it is not necessary to return to the beginning, but if this is the case, I should start by booting from the reinstallation CD in Windows Setup, or should I wipe all this without success install and start with a clean disk?  Thanks in advance for any help and for this long post by reading.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft community.

Since it is a Dell computer and the CD you are using is provided by Dell reinstallation CD, so the question would be better suited to the Dell Community. Check out the link and ask the question.

  • Windows 8 will not start even with the CD after uninstalling Linux

Hi, I am currently faced with problems with my Dell Inspiron with Windows 8 3520 is installed. I had been dual-boot it with Linux Mint for a while with no problems until I decided to go completely back using Windows for convenience.  As I had installed Linux by creating a partition I followed online guides to remove the partition on which it was found, and expand the partition holds Windows to its original size. This seemed to go off without incident, until I tried to delete Grub and got to the start of the back straight to Windows computer. I followed a couple of different guides without result and finally ran a program called Boot Repair that just make things worse. After you run the program, my computer began to start directly on a screen of recovery with the error message:

Boot your pc configuration data is missing or contains errors
    File: \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD
    Error code = 0xc000000f

After that happened, I called Dell and pushed them to send a disk of Windows 8 for me, so I could try a clean reinstall, I thought I'll fix it. Unfortunately it allows me to boot the disk. Everytime I try (when entering the BIOS and selecting the CD drive to boot from the disc) I get a message saying missing operating system, along with various things I can provide if required, and ending in asking me to insert the bootable media in the selected drive, press which just repeated the same message again. I ' v read on various fixes online without result, most who ask me to change the CD in first priority which I can't do is not listed as an option in the menu accessed by pressing F2 BIOS. I tried to add my CD drive option, but when I click in it, instead of getting the readers of CD or something like that, I get a menu called select Media Driver with options like this:

    WDC WD10JPVT-75A1YTP - Partition 1

the only difference between them being the partition to which they are assigned, 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6. If I press on enter on any of this that it brings me to another menu called select media with a variety of different options, which change depending on the partition that I chose, which none means nothing to me. I don't know enough to try anything more, and even people at Dell seem to be at a loss. Any help would be much appreciated because I am completely lost at this point and this is my first laptop.

    Hello

I'm not 100% sure the disks that you actually... The drive set to restore your computer to the factory should be at least 2 or 3 DVD...

You can reinstall windows only... which, I imagine, would solve the immediate problem.

Delete the partition with your old windows 8 on this... Don't you say that you developed it in the first partition or something... There may be a small 300 MB partition as the first and possibly a 30 GB or more, depending on the order in which Dell installed their...

The thing with reinstalling windows just is that you do not have a Dell preinstalled stuff.

Manufacturers have made significant changes as to how it's done with Win 8... as there are now several types of Bios...
