  Hi I created a newsletter in British Colombia, using online Email marketing tools to be emailed to customers, but when I go to test that email (sent to my personal gmail account) the image has a broken link.

• All images are links (red x) but only on the user account of my husband on Windows Vista Edition Home Premium. The settings have been adjusted. Windows has been updated.

  Method 1:

  If you use Internet Explorer and you should disable or hide pictures, then I suggest you to follow the following steps:

  a. open Internet Explorer.

  b. click on Tools.

  f. restart Internet Explorer.

  This isn't the correct workflow.

  When you rename a folder outside of Lightroom, it causes the link between this issue and Lightroom to be broken and images will be missed in the Lightroom Catalog

  and if you re-import them same images after that, it will import the original images and not the changes

  Lightroom does not store the original images it contains. It works on the previews and the changes you make are stored only in Lightroom.

  So, you have to rename or move this folder in Lightroom instead of doing outside so that you do not lose your changes.

  To rename a folder, select the folder name in the library module > right click / Control click and select Rename folder.

  If I get you correctly, there are 2 things you can do:

  1. check the file with the tools of the operating system.

  the two gdi + and quartz offers tools for playback of image files in various

  formats, so you can check before you import it.

  2. you can use AE to check.

  use AEGP_StartQuietErrors, then back to test and see if you get a

  error without the user seeing.

  You can then decide to get rid of the image or notify the user.

  I can see all my images on the active tab of site but when I select the favorates button a lot of images cannot be seen in the window of the viewer above. Some may be read, but most show the broken icon image?

  Open Panel of 'Assets', the small launcher button settings on the upper right of the files Panel, click on 'Site to recreate list'. He's going to scanner and re - bind all missing / moved files & folders that can contain your images.

  I've updated my java version 1.6, so I don't really know what it is. There was another thread on the forums with a related issue, but apparently java update did the trick. Everything is up to date on my computer. It's the only error that appears for me. Any suggestions?

  If so, there is a charger problem.  You include the SWF file as part of your installation?  Are you assuming that it is in the same directory as the parent application?

  If it works as an AIR application, then you either did not include that as part fo the installation (you must specify the file with the installation of the CLI blackberry program), the installation is put somewhere else, or the charger on the Simulator does not work well.

  Examine the File class to verify that the file is here (methodexists ) before attempting to load, else start an AlertDialog window for testing purposes.

  Depending on your application, if none of the above works I would re - implement using the BB SDK.  But as you and others might still want to load a SWF file at a given time, it would be good to know what part of the loading procedure will not.

• OVFtool "IO Error" when .ova is extracted from 99%

  I'm trying to convert a .ova into a .vmx using OVFTool 2.1.0 but after reaching 99%, I get a "IO error" / transfer drive failed, then the .vmx is deleted.

  This error is normally due to a broken disk image.

  Could you try adding

  -X: logLevel = trivia to get a complete newspaper.

  Also can you use tar to unpack the eggs and try to simply convert the OVF inside the EGG a vmx file?

• JavaScript in the templates

  I have a short java program that runs my image in the header.  It works very well in an html document, but when I turn the HTML into a template (dwt) broken links images become.  I tried to update the image links in the Java code, adding the java function after having created the model and updateing the link to the page of Java, but the problem persists.

  I recently got a new computer and upgraded to windows 7.  This would be part of the problem? (I used a similar program in my models in the past with meeting this glitch).

  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  How to make a relative path of root as apposed to a relative path of the document?

  This is a link to the root - it starts at the root of the site and shows how to get to the target of the root of the site.  These links won't work in any file anywhere in the site because they always start from the ROOT of the site (/).

  It is a relative path of the document - it starts at the site of the current document and indicates how get you to the target of this place.  These links work only of a file to the location of the active document.

• Text guard stream missing guides

  It's a strange.  For weeks, it seems I've been continuously realign the same pages again and again because the flow of text area was present outside the guides where I expected to flow into an operation of automatic placement.  I even deleted a bunch of pages and reorganized (a while back), and things are a lot then.  Now, many of them are misaligned, like this:

  

  And what is really weird, some are not even the same width, they went by like a pica, while others are the right width, they are just OFF by a pica. Alternatively, as you can see above, they are gone by even more.

  Like a hand of PageMaker for 20 years, I could just do something the old way of hurt, but I'm sure I've nailed the autoflow correctly.  So what else could be?

  It occurs to me that allowing adjustment of the layout can solve your problem moving, but if you have broken your images for the margin guides they should exchange itself anyway, so I don't know exactly what is happening.
