  I use DELL NewXPS Ultrabook with Windows 8. When a window is open and kept inactive for about 1 or 2 minutes, it is automatically inactive and the continuous window status from an active - inactive shows automatically.   No, it isn't an installer for all types of browser.

  Microsoft integrates Flash Player in Windows 8.x and distributes updates via Windows Update.  If you have Windows configured to download and automatically install the updates you need not do anything.  Otherwise, run Windows Update to install the latest version of Flash Player for Internet Explorer.

  Google has also incorporates Flash Player in Chrome and distributes the updates.  If you have configured to automatically update of Chrome you need not do anything.  Otherwise, look for an update of Chrome to ensure you have the latest version.

  Since you also use Firefox, the only installer you need to manually run the Flash Player for Firefox installer.

  Evan, please let us know the OS and the version of the bridge you are trying to download, follow below mentioned steps.

  • Restart the computer.
  • Delete the files in the temp folder.

  Win: C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Temp GOLD folder in the address bar.

  Mac: / tmp

  • Try to have total control over the directory temp (authorization).
  • Try to create a new Admin account and try to install it.
