Hi labradorg13,

No, it isn't an installer for all types of browser.

Microsoft integrates Flash Player in Windows 8.x and distributes updates via Windows Update.  If you have Windows configured to download and automatically install the updates you need not do anything.  Otherwise, run Windows Update to install the latest version of Flash Player for Internet Explorer.

Google has also incorporates Flash Player in Chrome and distributes the updates.  If you have configured to automatically update of Chrome you need not do anything.  Otherwise, look for an update of Chrome to ensure you have the latest version.

Since you also use Firefox, the only installer you need to manually run the Flash Player for Firefox installer.

  • Adobe Flash Player, Google Chrome and Deskjet F4440

Whenever I try to open my HP Deskjet F4440, a dialog box appears indicating that I can't open the program unless I have download Adobe Flash Player in Internet Explorer. First of all, I don't use Internet Explorer and, second, when the last, I was invited to do the same action for another program on my computer, I followed the prompt. However, when I do it by following the instructions, I started having problems with my default browser, Google Chrome (OS: Windows 7). Chrome crashed repeatedly, and after many tests to troubleshoot it, I decided that the course of action was to uninstall and reinstall Chrome. He worked without crashing for a week. Now, I get again the same message for download Flash Player even if I had already done before. I can't use my all-in-one printer for a digitization project and I am extremely frustrated. The upgrade of the unit did nothing to solve this problem. Help, please!

    Hi @rnkh,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that whenever you try to open your HP Deskjet F4440, a dialog box appears indicating that I can not open the program, unless I have download Adobe Flash Player in Internet Explorer and you cannot scan. I'm happy to help you!

It is possible that there could be a software conflict with Adobe. In order to know for sure I would suggest the following:

If this does not resolve the problem, then I would recommend contact the Support from Adobe.

    Hi nani2eande,

  • WIN8.1 no good 64 only bits of Flash Player for it?

Flash Player www.adobe.com search for win IE 8.1 64 bit OS.  Good selection, installation reported "not compatible with the operating system" or installable?  To activate "installed" how not to insure, it's 32-bit it is to manage Add on? How to install a Flash Player for 64-bit Win8.1 and determine if the installed Fox one is right version but 64-bit x 86 machine please?

Flash Player is a component integrated Microsoft Internet Explorer on Windows 8 and higher.  There is nothing you need to download Adobe.  Updates are sent directly through Windows Update.

If you use Internet Explorer, but are unable to view Flash content, which might help you:

First of all, check that the ActiveX filtering is configured to allow Flash content:

    https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/867968

Internet Explorer 11 introduced a number of changes both in the way the browser is identified with remote web servers, and how it treats JavaScript for behavior targets specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the provider of content changes their site to conform to the new approach to development required by the modern versions of IE.

You can try to work around these problems by using the compatibility view:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Internet-Explorer/use-compatibility-view#IE=ie-11

If it's too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a better alternative.

  • How to update flash player for several browsers under Mac

    Hello

First of all, I have installed Flash Player on my mac and he used with Safari. Now, recently I started using Opera, and when I tried to view flash content it told me that was not installed Flash. I thought flash installed the browser in the world for all to use, but I guess I was wrong. Now Flash on Safari tells me is outdated, while Opera is not since I installed it later. Is there a way to keep Flash updated without having to be updated individually in every browser I use?  I do not in fact automatic update. Just a personal preference because I still do not have a fast internet connection.  I use Mac OS 10.11.5 is said by the way.

    Hello

Safari and Opera uses 2 different types of plugin.  Safari (and Firefox) use the NPAPI and Opera plugin (and other browsers based on chrome) PPAPI plugin.  The best way to keep the two types of Player update is opt in the background updates.  Verification of updates for a updated once per day of history.  If an update is it downloads and installs it.  All versions of the drive on a system are usually updated within 24 hours of a new version being released.  Updates to opt in the background follow these steps:

Launch System Preferences > Flash Player > updates tab > select Adobe allow to install updates (recommended)

  • Installing/re-repair the built-in Flash Player for Windows 10 (Egde)

    Hi all

While I tried to disable the message "Press ESC TO EXIT FULL SCREEN" that I find very annoying, I came across a Web site where a guy said he had found a patch (at least for IE, Chrome and Firefox) for her.

I went and tried. Unfortunately, instead of this problem it caused the flash player integrated to Windows Edge (/er 11) to stop working. The Adobe Troubleshooting page is no help, and I can't really find a way to uninstall/reinstall or repair the above Flash Player. (Note that with Flash installed for Chrome, somewhat obviously, player still works).

So my question is: what I can repair/reinstall this built-in Flash Player or do I go with the brute force solution and format my PC because of this corrupted file?

Thank you very much in advance for your attention and help

Thanks a lot for your kind and developed the answer!

I ran the command, and he showed that he was indeed corrupt but he has failed to fix them. I went to your second option, and after realizing that you cannot download the updates of Windows online more, I went for a last option and checked if it had been updated to Flash in the past days... and for my fortune very it turned up to be a right the other day. So I went disinstalling the update and then let Windows Update re-install and it turns out to work! So problem solved

    Thanks again!

PS: I've marked my correct answer so that people can deal with this the same way that I did, although you gave me clearly the right input. I hope all is well with you

  • Download, installation of Flash Player in IE 11 and 10 Windows

Change the Message "Hello, I understand that Flash Player is included in Windows for Edge 10. Whenever I try to download Flash Player for IE 11 I get the message that Flash Player is included in Windows 10. So I am not allowed to download. ' in the installation of Flash Player

Flash Player is a component integrated IE and Edge on Win10.  There is nothing separate to download or install.  It is much more likely that you are viewing the HTML/Javascript content that does not work as expected when running in the context of EI and edge (i.e. doesn't JavaScript that uses the content provider to detect that Flash is installed directly in IE11).

First of all, check that the ActiveX filtering is configured to allow Flash content:

  • Install the latest version of Flash Player for internet Explorer, I stopped at the end with the message "User does not have sufficient privileges to install"

I stopped at the end of the installation of Flash Player for Internet Explorer with the message "User lacks sufficient privileges to install" despite having Flash Player installed because I bought my computer. My internet Explorer browser will now display the videos saying that I have the latest version of Flash Player. Videos had previously shown fine on Int.Explorer over 5 years and see the normally on Flash Player using Google Chrome.

    Hi James Goldberg,.

I recommend you install it using your administrator account on your system or right-click on the configuration file and choose "Run as Administrator".

Hope that helps, please let me know if you face any problem.

    Kind regards

  • Flash Player for Maxthon browser

I need help to download and install Flash Player for Maxthon browser. The site seems to think that my browser is Chrome. It is not. Maxthon is a type of Firefox. I tried to download for Firefox and still no download. It's embarrassing.

    Hi Scott,.

The site (I assume you are referring to get.adobe.com/flashplayer) is assuming Maxthon browser Chrome because the site uses the information from the UserAgent string to determine the browser in use.  Maxthon is identified as different browsers in the UserAgent string including the first after that Matxthon is Chrome, which explains why the site think it's Chrome.  You can use the link kglad for the NPAPI plugin, or you can go to get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions and select the version of your OS and then select 'Flash Player for other browsers'.  Both options will install the NPAPI plugin on your system.

I want to get out of my system because since I installed it I got problems with the loading of Chrome he does not load then if I restart my comptuter & I click on chrome 5 windows open at the same time a white box appears saying "your profile not usable because it comes from a later version of the google chrome browser.» Some features may be available. Please specify a different profile directory or use a different version of chrome"then if you click ok, it closes all the windows down. I figured a way to get a window to stay open, so I use chrome, now I have another browser that I can use but I don't like them at all, & do not have a flash drive since mine is incorporated with Chrome. So now to the other issue that began as soon as I downloaded this & I may not understand that, but I still want to get it out of my computer. When the message of chrome said specify a different profile directory which went right on head Mr. so, which should give you an idea where I come from. I want to thank you in advance & hope I made sense in what I wrote, I tried to give all the information that I have.

There is no more Flash Player for Android and there will be another. The version of Android you have is no longer comaptible with Flash Player. Flash content playback is very non-rational processor and it drains your battery, also shorten the life of it. Android (Google) recommended "The Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to display Flash content with a motive under Android. They are both free in the GooglePlay store. These browsers use the rendering of the 'server-side' to reduce the load on the device.
