Mark, I revisited your script and it doesn't work cos you have a typo in, newSIze, instead of newSize, that has changed and it works great... so you, you still need to understand textRanges and textSelection

Hello!
I'm looking for clues on how to run a script on selected links (selected in the window).
As this example script that runs an alert when the links are missing:

As far as I know - not possible to read the link selection (any Panel UI).
Another solution?
-to create a dialog of the listBox (each list item is a link read a doc) and the 'multiselect' property defined as 'true '.
The average user can select a set of links, and the script can do a work based on the selection.

I have a selection list on my apex page. Here is a list of dynamic selection generated from a sql query. Does anyone know how to set the maximum length in characters of the list item, as some of my entries are huge and the selection list takes the width of my page.

You would do this with the LOV query. Here is an example:

Since the last update when I type in the search field, all the possible search engines are visible, and it's very confusing use now. It is also a double feature as I see that the selection of search engine is still available next to the search icon.
Is there a way to disable the display of all the search engines available in the results 'search as you type "?

Please, do not react with an antibot question or answer, the only goal, is that I see if it's possible or not until you switch to another browser. Seems more recent updates to firefox are based mainly on the subjective views of individuals rather than on the wishes of the user. Such a shame for that one good browser.

You can find research tab to change search engines in Options/preferences between the tabs and content in the current version.

If you want to restore the window previously used independently to manage search engines, you can enable or disable this pref to false with a middle-click on the topic: config page.

Because you're probably using private browsing, go to tool > > privacy > > will Firefox option: change to remember history, now you can change this option "When Firefox Start" to "show my windows and tabs from last time.

It started when I installed the module for HTTPS Everywhere.

When you use print selection in Firefox 12.0, it prints whenever the selection is on the page (on paper) instead to the top of the page (in paper).
 
			 
When you try to use the print selection, printing starts in the location it starts as on the web page. For example, if it is down half way down the webpage, it starts halfway to print on printer paper. Then continue to another document. This only happens in Firefox, not other browsers. It makes me really want to change the default browser so I don't have to keep switching to print correctly. I tried Print Edit plugin, but it is a lot of time to do something that should be simple.
			 
Yes, the functionality of the print selection was twisted several times in recent versions. It was very broken in Firefox 11 and the fix has exacerbated the problem of the position of the selection moves to the top of the page (which has a long history, but is worse now).
Workarounds
I agree that the add-on Print Edit, which allows very fine control of the elements on the page, is not the best solution for this problem, because you often click on number of items for the same selection.
The add-on Nuke anything that improved , has the ability to delete everything except your selected page text. Then you can print normally (i.e., without choosing the bubble of selection). I see not a feature cancel it, so you need to reload the page later to continue working with her.

Run the Console application in one of the following ways:

You can try the following methods and check if it helps.
Method 1:
(a) open your filmmaking program and create the slide show using your photos. Choose the options you want for changes between the photos and the duration of each photo display. If you need help, then check out the help file in your theater program.
(b) open the import file dialog box. In Windows Movie Maker, it is in the part of '"movie tasks', section"vidéo Capture." Browse your files to find the mp3 file you want to import, select and import it. Will import it into filmmaking program but it will not in the video.
(c) search for the file in your filmmaking program and import it into the film. In Windows Movie Maker, you can drag and drop the file in the position in the window of time movie online, where you want that song to start playing.
(d) scroll through the timeline until the end of the song. Drag the end of the song in a position to match the end of your slide show. This will be the end of the song at the same time exactly like your slide show.
(e) read your film completely from the beginning to the end and ensure that everything is with the song the way you want that there. If you are satisfied with the finished product, then export the movie to the right format and the file will be ready to play.

Windows will not honor "always use the selected program to open this type of file."
 
			 
When I try to open a file *.img using 'open with... '. "I get a window of"Leader Type Helper"asking what software I want to use.  I have check "open this file using a software program (sic) that (sic) is already installed."  This very unnecessarily opens another dialog box titled 'open with' * Sub * the files already browser window fill the screen while I'm not yet aware that the box is here.  Having managed to find, I choose "7-Zip File Manager" and click on the box always saying "use the selected program to open this type of file", and then click OK.  This opens the file using the selected program, as you wish.
However next time I try to open a *.img file, I again get the window "Help file of Type" and must go through the whole process again.  (By double-clicking on the file shows "Windows Disc Image Burner".)  Why don't Windows 'always use the selected program' like I asked?  Windows is aware that I have chosen before, because it is considered to be the only 'recommended program' in the 'Open with' dialog box  Thanks for any help!

I really hope you can help me with a problem I have on a single workstation at my office.  It is an accumulation of 32-bit Windows 7 running MS Office 2010 Standard.  It differs from other generations in our office because it is used by the head of the team of our accounts, and so it has a number of custom pieces of software that she only needs access (payroll software, etc.).

(2) Internet Explorer AppHangB1 when you try to attach files to download
I think that these two errors may actually be related, like IE (and Chrome as well by the way, this be why I think that the two issues are related) works fine, until I just any type of site where I need to download a file.  This happened in the light, as our Chief of accounts needs to download a flat file in a room online banking software.  What's going to happen (and, again, this can be repeated as needed) is: -.
(a) you need to click on which will generally be a "Browse" button
(b) a traditional dialog box opens, but instead which allows you to navigate to the location and select the folder you want, he immediately greys out as if the process explore is falling.

On auggy recommendation, I've set up a registry key insert that returns the explorer.exe hangs in a dump file, and I am trying to load two reports on SkyDrive - I'll post the URL in this thread as soon as I finished it.

Andy, I checked and iCloud, Control Panel has not been installed on its terminal, but thank you very much for suggesting it :)
auggi, when I got back on my colleague's PC, I thought I would test to see if the feature didn't always before considering saving data dumps etc, and it worked fine!
I left it overnight with instructions for the lady who uses the PC to test this morning and see if it's all workers, and it is still, it seems that the fix does not immediately solve the problem of browser, but there later - maybe after a second reboot or something... very strange!
In all case, this matter can now be considered closed, so all that remains for me to say thank you very much for your help, you are amazing :)
